Hamachi patch
Well everyone who plays online and uses Hamachi these days knows that it is having problems....I thought that I saw someone post a link recently to a patch that eliminates the "cant see game" problem that Hamachi is having. If there really is such a patch and someone on this forum knows where it is please, please, PLEEEEAAAASE post the link here. Ty

Thanks for the info Nevermind, I did some reading on the thread in the link and tweaked hamachi accordingly and I think it helped.

So what is the old verision number? And where can I get it? And will it work with the peeps that are using the new buggy version?
Or is there some specific ports I need to open on my router? Keep in mind tho I still can connect with some people... so not sure what ports would have to do with it...and I have latest version on my work machine and have zero problems there.

Really regretted the upgrade, having tons of problem. I can't see jinxer's game, desync with cycleguy and now, i am encountering problem like player 1 in day 2, while player 2 is already in day 3 or 4 lol ... Chatting during game is a good way to ensure both sides are not dreaming

I down graded back to 1.0.5.x version...and poof... all is good again.

My buddies and I have the new version downloaded with Rimsey's fix. We're connected and everything seems to be fine with a possible caveat. I tried to load a saved game with him and his system gave him a checksum error.
Anyone know the cause of those?

yes
that problem has nothing to do with hamachi..
First thing you do ,both of you make sure only the map your playing is in the maps folder - that means remove all maps except it , if that don't help tell me here..

hmm
you know what.. before that you 2 should test if you can host a normal game without that save ,If you can join then thats not the problem and there is a problem with the save ,or one of you don't have the map your playing..

It's a random map I generated. How do we fix it? I think I remember him telling me he didn't have the ability to save the game since I was the host.

What version do you have?
And its very easy to check if the random generated map is in the maps folder or not..

My Heroes version is 2.1.
Found my maps folder. There are several maps there. Do they need to be moved to another folder?

All I did to fix problems was set the Hamachi network adapter as the primary adapter in my Network connections advanced settings window and havent had any kind of problems since then. BTW I have the latest version of Hamachin installed.

Next issue
Trying to resume a saved game. Only that save is in the maps folder. My buddy is getting a prompt that says he doesn't have a save of that game and can't join.
This is puzzling. If he doesn't have the ability to save the game then how is he supposed to get a record of that game? Or are these my patented, "j00r a n00b" questions?

Saves are not in maps folder thats for sure 
Yes sending the save works in version 2.1 , notice it don't work in earlier ones.. (maybe in 1.5 also)
