I was trying to give a clue to one of the riddles in Riddle Master, but I wanted it to be revealed to users only if they wanted it - and realised that HC has little capacity for this!
Hence I present to you - Gnoll_Mage's hidden text...
Hopefully it's simple to use: just type
[swf width=400 height=25]http://andy.pcrhosting.co.uk/swf.php?text=Your Text Here[/swf]
Then all anyone has to do is mouseover...
E.g.:

Hey, that's pretty nifty, although I probably won't have much use for it. Still, thanks

EDIT: Too bad you can't have spaces in the hidden text

Dunno about your browser, but my Opera requires me to click any flash displayed before it reacts to any input, like mouse position.

as late as it gets actually
and both firefox and konqueror just show a white strip, right clicking on it simply gives the standard flash menu

Good work, although it would be best if Val introduced white and grey as font colors (in addition to red, green, blue and black). That way spoilers will be hidden until you select the text.

I tried this at school today, and my school uses IE.
All you do is click the white stripe with the left mouse button, not the right

Thanks Vlaad - I have suggested Val do that but he hasn't got back to me yet; we simply need a [hidden]blah blah[/hidden] BBCode.
And Lith - Firefox is working for me, so I'm befuzzled! Perhaps there is a setting somewhere that you have different, although in my experience FF isn't as customisable as IE when it comes to that sort of thing. Another thing you could try is taking the web address (the andy.pcr one) and pasting it into the address bar, see what happens then.
