Just take a look on Academy artwork, Genie and archmage picture - Ice landscape under them! Guess they changed that because of the dwarves... and well, I always loved them in desert theme.
And so great to see the "real" Treant!!!

Remember in LOTR where they are on that boat and pass that big stone statue?
this is actually a really moving piece because like when your playing you never really stop to think that even in victory there is sadness and death. I mean we never really even think about the aftermath of each battle. "Oh you only lost 12 Squires in that battle?" But I mean jeez those squires were brave men and probably had families and stuff. I mean obviously it's a game and everything is collateral but it gets you thinkin'

^ Yeah I love that one. I wish they had used it as the title pane, instead of the Battle between Haven and Necropolis. It would set the tone so differently. Other good ones:
This, like the above one, speaks a lot about the finality of death, and the emotions it can evoke. Plus, the Succubus on the extreme right is nice!
This one is just plain funny. The angel looks like it's a guardian, but it's falling into a trap.
This one is just so funny, it reminds me of good old Sandro.

There are 2 things in this one: First that the way she points the darkness goes, love it.. The whole battle between good and evil and its being fought in the sky..
The other thing is: Her body - That is totally sexed up pose!! Spread the legs ! ..But cool skull  and well who ever tatoed her "lower region" must be a man(lets hope for the men Elves it was..  )
Why is it that the haven castle is the center of all pictures on that site - on almost every artwork we got haven creatures And/or haven castle?! - And don't get why the dark elf are with a Druid!? ... They are suppose to hate each other

I would say it is for contrast but no matter how averse dark elves are they used to be one with elves.

and of the haven creatures, especially prominent is the "bald" Inquisitor from the beta stage.
Not that I mind because I love haven but yeah your right.
And I personally thing dark elves should suffer an extra movement penalty in the snow terrain because geez....

they are pretty hot but I'd rather have a fluffy archangel like in the second pic.

this one is interesting because it is done in a medieval style. I rather think it looks more realistic. I think the squire looks a little too puny but I love the nay nay!
this is just totally badass. First off it shows the toll of battle, ( i feel bad for the griffin with the broken wing) but also just the Haven hero holding the necromancer's scythe is really powerful.
this is absolutely awesome too. It reminds me of something in 300.
Another nice touch is the old yellow cavalier can be seen in the background

if you look at the artwork they have for haven all of the units are red including the nay nay, maybe in that country all of them are red and they didn't change the Inquisitor to the new version.

It's my pet name for Champions.
Kinda off topic but it all started when me and a friend were playing Homm3 I was castle and he was dungeon.
It was like at a church party and this little girl comes up to us and insists that the Champions were "nay nays" and that they were good and all the other units (including the angels!) were evil. Also the Manticore was "Aslan" and all the other dungeon units were animals that fount in Aslan's army. It was hilarious! And she was completely convinced about all this she didn't mind the fact that units were dying or that there was a topless snake woman shooting arrows at people or anything she just was interested in the nay nays and aslans. And she called unicorns "fake nay nays" and dread knights "evil nay nays"
So in honor of her hilarious observations I'm a nay nay and aslan protector.

Oh, I thought that all of their regular clothes were still in the wash and all they had was red clothing. Oh well, that makes sense too.
