I was thinking of changing the fiery hellish theme to something less brutal and more... sinister. Like replacing the onyx textures on all of the buildings with whitish marble, and turning the black smoke into white clouds of... something. I know that it's all possible, and I could show you what I have in mind. I just can't find the bedamned texture files. Where are they hiding?

@Cepheus: There are a few Textures in Arenas/Town/NewInferno the rest is in Textures/auto-imported_______320/Town/NewInferno there are the Textures
Any ideas for the Hero Class?

Thanks. Yeah, I actually already found the Inferno textures beforehand but didn't mod them properly... I thought I was changing the wrong things.
If you figure out how to resize creature models, please enlighten us. That'd be another very useful piece of info. Anyway I'll try to edit the Inferno textures now and see what I come up with.

Dudes! I guess you guys can use alot of the new TotE models for your experiments with getting good ol' classic creatures back in and the new ones (cerulean f-bird etc) Maybe one of the new cyclops models could make a basis for a behemoth?

@Cepheus: I wonder how it'll look keep us up to date
@Daystar: Not a bad idea to keep the old Conflux feel alive I'll use this. Unfortunatly there is no file for Hero specs, Damaging Spells can easily be created as their Damage is in a file but not the effects for other Spells and Skills etc. I think I'll have to use fake specs like LotA.
@Orfinn: Why not the Cyclops model seems good Now we only need to find one for Beholders.

An argus is from Greek Myth: Hera summoned/created him to watch over Zeus Lover of the Week. He had 100 eyes (some sources say 1000, 666, 99, etc)

@Ted: The Yeti is still in the files so it can be used
And about the Argus, Daystar is right. In Dutch we have a saying: "He is watched with Argus eyes" wich means something like People are staring at him like he is wierd orsomething.
About the Beholder I think it looks wierd with an eye on top of it, but it's the best for now.

Not at all I'd love to. There will also be a custom Ambient light with Rain (!!) that Terain can also be the native Terrain for Asylum. I'm happy to say that a Faction is far from hard coded I found files for the buildings, the Town building screen, the logo (Wich floats above captured Buildings) the Town specs, all the musics (Town, Blacksmith, Tavern, Comat, Siege and many others) really there is a file for everything, even wich creature is in the towers during a siege and don't forget the Moat damage. The only problem is that Abilities are Hard Coded I hope I can assign Gating to it and rename to Dimensional Summoning or something
What I'm trying to do now is making buttons to select Campaigns from all Expansions what I mean is after you press the Campaigns button you'll get a Menu with three options:
Heroes of Might and Magic V
Hammers of Fate
Tales of Karador
It might work if I make three different Campaign Set files although I don't know how to assign it to a button help is needed or I can hopefully find it if I look deeper into it.

@Daystar: That's great! Keep in mind that the assigned clolour will be Teal (The Cerulean Firebird and the Celestial Dragon are also Tealish) Do you also have an idea for the Textures of the Hero? I'm asking you this because you're good at Texturing and you were the one who gave the idea of Planeswalker as the Hero's name.
And the Faction will be fully new as I said almost nothing is Hard Coded

Here's an early concept of special terrains for the Beginning Dimension...
The skydome needs remaking and I plan to make the textures more detailed and differentiated. All of the purple stuff will be edited out too. Opinions please.

Lovely I just wonder, I dont know if the graphics or the effects and the brightness caues the most framerate. Will those sharp colors have any effect on fr? Maybe you could make the blue a bit darker blue...or skyblue?

Here's the base terrain from above. I just randomly threw in a Demon Lord for good measure.
Haven't actually tried it in-game so I don't know how the performance will work. I suspect it won't have any major effects on the game. If I make it darker I'm afraid it'll lose the whole space-like effect, but I don't know. It isn't final anyway.
