Can you tell me what you have at your disposal? And is it where that after the area with at least 2-3 wraiths and a pletora of choppers drops of, you come to a bridge, blockaded?
I did a crazy maneuver to drive atop the hill with my warthog filled with marines, i had a bubble shield with me and max amount of nades. This was on legendary. Crazy me drove up the hill, closed in on the wraith guarding the brigde, parked the transport-warthogh at the side of the wraith, jumped off, placed the bubble shield (for not getting torn apart by other enemy fire), boarded the wraith, got into the hog again and drove like crazy up tp the tight left of the blockade ahead, before the two other wraiths could chase-blaze me from a distance, I drove off the low concrete wall at the end of the wall with an antenna stuck at the rockface (i think it was), right to the downed pelican, and used hit and duck tactics with Fuel Rod Cannon and battle Rifle manuevers.
Last note, this was without any gold skulls on. The marines died of course, they just had to stick their head up from cover, they got killed by the jetpack brutes and their companions not far from the energy field blocking the tunnel ahead I had at least 6 deaths to make it so far and end the mission, Hard, frustrating, hilarous and fun 
BTW: Have you ever managed to board and use those crimson anti-air wraiths? They may be awesome to use against the pesky ghosts etc!

Sorry Orfinn didn't see your post.
But man this game is so good that playing it borders on guilty pleasure.
Since then I have finished the game on Legendary, and obtained all the skulls....
Next stop: 1000 gamerscore 
Just need to get a few multiplayer achievements and the Campaign Scoring achievements that I missed (because I didn't know how to turn on campaign scoring until halfway through my run through on legendary )
Man I want that Security armour

How high is your gamerscore T.A? Mine is at 775 I think it was. I love the birthday skull and that the enemies always take in use saving throws
But again i ask: Have you ever managed to board and use those crimson anti-air wraiths? I would love to overflow the enemy with green blobs of doom, its like having 6 fuel rod cannons at once and a bit stronger

Mine is around the 850 mark, nearly got all of the Campaign Scoring achievements (working on it)
If you don't have online play it must be hard for you to get much higher than what you have now, alot of them are online-specific.
Yeah birthday skull is my favourite too Makes it alot easier to get your headshots rolling.
When going for high score I always have Tough Luck and nearly always Catch by default. I barely notice the difference with these two activated, and gives a nice 3x bonus I think.
As for the AA Wraiths, it's impossible to board them

And yes its frustrating to get so close Ever tried not dying at a partcular level at heroic or legendar? I made through Sierra 117 withoput a scratch. And I have the Iron skull on to force myself, not to die
Btw which skulls had you on when trying t oachieve that 50.000 point mark?
Oh and ahve Free for all scoring, thats the one who unlocks snacks if you didnt know

my total gs is 30125
and for the meta game... normal difficulty, 1 friend... cooperative scoring...
skulls: 1]tough Luck 2]catch 3]famine 4]thunderstorm
I think it impossible to not win with this setup...

We were talking about gamerscore /1000 for just Halo 3.
And I was playing with my friend just getting the achievement as a bonus, didn't really want to overcomplicate things, was on Legendary with just Tough Luck on I think.
I was trying to make it with as few skulls as possible because I didn't want to ruin it for my friend
And Tex thanks for the settings I'll have to try that for the ones I'm missing. Presumably it won't take long on Normal.
btw do you have to get the time bonus for that?

oh, then i have 890 in Halo 3
as long as you get at least 2.5 on the time bonus you should be way over the required score.
especially since it will be counting you and the second players points together. and try to kill everything you can without slowing down.
it is really easy though

Though Luck and Catch does inedeed make a great difference in AI behavior...hmm Im going to turn on black eye and tilt, havent tried those out yet, maybe fog to. That should spice things up a bit...no wait! All skulls on! Lmao! Im going suicide on normal short said, on NORMAL of all things! Think what all skulls on will cause in Legendary mode...no survival chance! Well like....3% SurvivalChance maybe, if lucky

Tilt is fine if you can master the EMP/head shot, just those chieftans become a *****... especially with famine where plasma pistols are a commodity.
Black Eye is annoying and Iron is just ridiculous.
