Problem Child, Varjo -
Before Varjo both he and Problem Child starts tingling. Next thing they know they are at the rebel base. They see Shagrath coming toward them looking not quite right, focused on Malice. ((see previous posts for details of the situation)). One of the children in the rebel base is standing their with their eyes closed. When they open it they have a look of satisfaction. "Big scary guy. Couldn't call the others..maybe too far away. Sorry had to use power." his english is broken, but it is not sure why.
Stargazer, Mindreaver, Ghost -
After a bit Ghost finds Mindreaver. "They said something like.."Lets see how they like our test facility" or something. Nothing much else. Don't know exactly what they mean. They seemed pleased with themselves and how things are going however."

Mindreaver cursed under his breath. "Dammit they set us up. They knew we would go there to check things and wanted to dispose of us before we could inform anyone else. About the others I have a feeling they may not be as hostile but I have my reservations, for all we know they wanted to manipulate us as well. Alert the others, I and Stargazer are heading back to the base."

"There is trouble at the base." warns Stargazer. "Shagrath is back. We will have to be cautious. Don't know if he is dangerous or not, but I think he is."

"Just in time. I am not sure we can take him on our own, we need assistance. Change of plans, Ghost tell them to meet us outside of the base and under NO circumstances engage Shagrath just remain in the vicinity. I'm calling the Gemini."

Ghost races off to spread the word. Mindreaver feels a presence just before he hears a voice. "I would advise against that. Not only would they not come, it would be a bad idea if they did."
A man appears in a swirl of black smoke. His hat is down over his eyes, and he appears to be wearing some sort of old western cowboy outfit. He has a pair of 6 shooters by his side, accross one is the name Heaven's Ice. Accross the other is Hell's Fire.
"You'd only make him angry, and stronger. I am afraid even he is not aware of the truth. My .... old boss is responsible for him. Regardless if he knows it or not. Not only does he gain strength from hate, anger, and fire but from this person also. You can't defeat him, at least not yet. Not with what you have. I am afraid you will have to first remove the true source of his power. That is not going to be easy." the mysterious stranger warns.

He leans against a wall. "What I am telling you is, that you can't stop him. You'd just get your people killed trying. Then who would be around TO stop him? You have teleporters, use them, avoid him. Sure people will die, but if your group dies, how many MORE will die?"

Shagrath saw the fear in the mutants eyes, then noticed the kids. One of the beasts lunged at him, but were burned to ash even before it could come close to him. He hadn't moved, the flames were created from the air itself.
"Malice." he hissed, and looked at her again. "You know how it's like. Why don't you try to call forth the power? It is alive, it is within you. You have drained it once, it won't leave you." he smiled, "Trust me."
Then he lifted his hands, and a sound of cracking metal made Purrfect look back abruptly. The ship were being compressed, the metal being pressed inward and ruined slowly.
"None of you shall go away from me." he breathed, "None!"
The metal started gleaming, and slowly the metal started dripping, melting.

"Your guns' insignia begins to make sense. Soo let's see if I got things right, for any complaints and future reference please contact the 'Lord of flies'? Because we don't talk that often. Can you aid me in containing Shagrath's inner demons or hopefully severing their connection?"

Shagrath straightened, something had entered this world that didn't belong here. The control he had managed to get slipped away, and his sight turned red again.
"Hunter." he snarled, and spread his wings.
He lifted from the ground, and send the fire at the last of the beasts just as revenge for the attempt one of them had made to reach him, then headed toward where he felt the force of the Hunter were. He would find him, he would slay him and at last he would take his masters job; he would be the devil himself!

"Good news. He's coming for me. That will buy you the time you need. I can slow him down, though he will kill me. Of course, the other power, the good one, that protects me will ressurrect me somewhere else. Then he will sense me, and come kill me ... again. And again...and again. It's going to hurt, a lot...but if he is focused on me that buys you time."

Shagrath flew through the skies, heading toward the Hunters location.
"You shall not get away..." he hissed, slowly.
Then he felt something else, a rush of feelings, pain mostly. He fell down, then, and struck the ground in the middle of a great city.

Mindreaver pauses for a moment.
"..Thank you, I will try to relieve you as fast as I can."
That felt like a debt and reminded him that there was another to be repaid, this time to a dying girl. And Brainchild was his best bet of finding secret information. Next destination, the Alps.

Shagrath rose, hands clenched into fists.
Forgive me, Father, for I will sin. he smiled and started walking through the ruins of the area. Give me the strenght I need, for I must prevail. he extended both hands forward and stopped breathing. and bring me to the one, for he is my destiny. he started dematerealizing, teleporting to the place where the Hunter was. Forgive me, Father, for I am your end. suddenly he were somewhere else, looking into the Hunters back. And now you're mine.

Mindreaver, Ghost, and Stargazer arrive at where Brainchild's lair is. Unfortunately they find less then Shagrath did (the self destruct of the computers did even more damage). No Brainchild to be found. They do hear moaning coming from the rubble. Somehow despite the odds, one of the intruders is alive. How long is anybody's guess, they were throw clear of the building in the explosing and have massive injuries.

Mindreaver and Stargazer begin to pull off the debris to free the creature. Seems to be hurt but it can talk so it should survive for a while longer. The illusionist hands the intruder a painkiller, he knows that he cannot transport him to the base and if he did it's not wise to carry injured people. Things are urgent and he needs to know here and now so he can continue the quest.
"There, that should help alleviate your pain. What happened and what were you doing her in the first place?"
Just to be sure he places his hand on the creature's forehead to see if he will sense anything out of place, maybe detect possible lies.

The second Mindreaver touches the forhead of the creature, he is elsewhere. Not physically, mentally. He sees the events of what transpired here clearly, as if he was there. This had never happened to him before. This person must also have latent telepathic ability, mingling the two had somehow boosted his own.
He witnessed the Humanoid Aliens attacking Brainchild's defenses. They lost many, but soon overwhelmed the defense. As soon as they got in, they beamed the container (Brainchild and all). This creature at first went with them. Mindreaver noticed that it was near the test facility, but not in it. A cloaked ship near it perhaps. Then he was back at the base, and the huge glowing message is seen, along with Shagrath. Then...blackness. He gets out just as the creature expires, it was close. Had the creature died with him trapped in it's mind, he most likely would have parished also.

Shagrath looked at the Hunter and bared his teeth.
"Tell me what you are up to!" he snarled, "I know you won't visit this world just to fight me, both of us knows that you are not strong enough. You have never been!"
The Hunter smiled. "I can keep you at bay, remember that I am your worthy enemy, the only one that stands a chance against you."
"Oh, you will tell me!" Shagrath snarled, then gave the Hunter a cold smile. "You don't really think I will kill you when I can get the truth in other ways."
Shagrath extended both arms and hissed. The Hunter felt something holding him, and broke free.
"You are not as powerful as you wish to believe, demon!" the Hunter said and took a step forward.
"And not as weak as you think." the demon whispered, then launched himself at the Hunter.
The two durable enemies crashed into each other, the demon bringing the Hunter to the ground. Fire sealed the Hunters arms and legs to the ground, making it impossible for him to break free of the demons grip.
"Now," Shagrath whispered in the Hunters ear, "We shall see how much pain you are able to take before you tell me everything I wish to know."

The image in front of Shagrath crumbles suddenly and a mocking voice can be heard. "I am The Hunter, your really think you can snare me? No, you will have to do better then that demon."
The voice comes from another location, then another. The Hunter is in his element, stalking. This may be one prey he can not defeat, but at least he can explain a few things to it. "Let me guess. You seek the Lord of Darkness. So you can slay him and take his place. Fool. That is exactly what he wants."
Keeping on the move, teleporting so that Shagrath can not yet get a lock on him. He knew it only a matter of time, but the longer it went, the more chance the others had. "You can not kill a soul. You can only destroy his body. Once that happens..you will be lost. He has already ensured your mind is almost empty. Once his body is destroyed, he will just move in. What makes you you will vanish, and you will be a puppet with him pulling the strings."
"Think for the first time in your life. Why would he go through all the trouble? He needs a vessel. YOU are that vessal. His way into the mortal realm. Worse, even if you somehow managed to kill him, despite the fact that he is protected by the mighty I AM, you would cease to be. He is your source of power. Without him, you would simply cease to be. Then he would be remade by the mighty I AM. You, however, would not."
"If you find him, confront him. He could just turn off your power. Like a switch. Think demon. Why wouldn't he? Unless...unless he wanted you to strike him down. Is any of this getting through that demonic corus in your head? The demons screaming for you to destroy him? Why? They work FOR him." Hunter stops in front of Shagrath.
"Well demon, go on. Do your worst. I feel not pain, I am not alive. Havn't been for eons. I am just The Hunter."
