Logistics
How many times have you lost a town just because you don't have one or two move points? Logistics can sometimes save your day when things like this are about to hapen. Tactics is usefull but most times you can win without them anyway. Logistics also allows you to avoid some battles or atack the enemy when he is more vulnerable.

I'd usually go for logistics. A bonus in movement is ALWAYS most welcome.

I'd probably take Logistics, but if I'm using Stronghold, tactics is *very* useful.

Logistics...
...always. Logistics provides you a more tactical advantage rather than Tactics !

You should have compared logistics and pathfinding. Then it would be conditional i.e. do you have to slog through bad terrain or is the map mostly grass? Logistics is useful for every hero, and Tactics only benefits Necro(skeletons in the thousands), Fortress, or Stroghold. So, the obvious choice for me is Logistics.

I'd take Logistics.
this I'm not sure about, though;
Quote: Tactics only benefits Necro(skeletons in the thousands), Fortress, or Stroghold
I'm a Castle fan, and the Tactics skill(expert) allows for the Griffins to strike on first chance when attacking towns, and all others creatures in all other battles.
Tactics is probably #5 or 6 in my priorities.

I don't like tactics...
...it may be usefull BUT I hate the delay due to tactics... especially if the outcome is irrelevant to the posisioning of troops...
Logistics would be my choice... lately is one of my faves...

Logistics!
Tactics can be fun but logistics is MUCH better. "On the battlefield speed is life, life is speed". The faster you walk, the faster you escape and win.

Logistic's
I'm usualy upset when I get stuck with tactic's. The only use's I've found tactic's to have, are defending long range attacker's, and getting slow unit's more advance.
Logistic's is almost vital for my satisfaction w/heroe's.

Logistics is a must have on any scenario.
By reading the articles written above it seems to me that tactics is an underestimated skill. Let's just mention Rampart (with the very fast creatures), Expert Tactics and Expert Air-Haste (maybe even as a specialty); and all my creatures blow you away before you know what hit you!!!

The only
real advantage I see in tactics is being able to escape and save your army when you have no other chance. The other advantage may be when you have moderately fast creatures and you are faster than your enemy. You can attack him and leave him breathless. *smiles*

Tactics
With Stronghold, Fortress, and Tower I prefer Tactics. With other towns tactics is not that essential, but if I have to choose I will pick it over logistics. Logistics wont do you much good in swamps (as somebody mentioned), and also you can have artifacts, or visit locations that boost your movement, but nothing will give you tactical advantage in a battle.

for any inexperienced player, tactics will do nothing.
for any experienced player, tactics will win you a battle. I have won and lost MANY games because either I or my opponent had tactics.
the advantage of tactics is all in how you play your battles, against the cpu and others.
However, logistics will help in EVERY situation, EVERY game, and for EVERYONE. Logistics is all around more useful ... and better.

You are right here. Does the fact that I prefer tactics makes me an experienced player?
