Hehe Of course everything depends on a map you play. Its just a number. In toh there are very few small maps popular. I was refering to Heritage of deleb. Almost all of my games on that map ended before end of second week. Only games that lasted more than that were when i was dwarfs and i was camping at my castle waiting for my opponent.

Games can be longer and shorter but on a rushing map it take 2 weeks at most and in normal map it takes 3 weeks(i broke both guards week 3 in BFH in rewgular game) which doesnt change a single thing when it comes to lvl 7 creatures.

In heritage of deleb i usually get around 15 lvl by the end of week 2.

If it's not much to ask what do you leave behind or the path you take? Surely there must be a problem getting everything without logistics. Or do you charge for the centre from week 2 day 1?
I use two heroes, clear the south side on week 2, then go for the scroll and artifact then Deleb week 3-4. That's with Ossir.

I almost always play in second spot and my path there is following:
I catch mines with secondaries day 1 (have 2 secondaries) and move main next to a monster guarding boots. Another day i get my main some creeping force and i aim to stables killing everything i can on my way. I collet everything on the ground with secondaries and check huts with secondaries if theres something worth taking, i take it. After stables i go to shackless area and kill everything i can on that way . after that i go to lvl 2 dwelling and then lvl 5 dwelling. i usually get lvl 5 dwelling at day 7. Now it all depends on what skills i have and who i play against, weather i have logistics and so on. I usually go to castle to get some spells or just go ahead and rush with a spell from shrine(single ice bolt can win you the game too, it have for me many times) and a new weeks support from the castle brought by my secondary. We either meet in the middle or i go straight to his castle and try to catch him off guard.

Oh and i never play dungeon on heritage of deleb unless i get it when im going random. I hate playing dungeon when shackless are there. I won against dungeon on that map with sylvan rush and the guy wasnt some noob, he did everything right that game and even get lucky id say, and still lost.

More or less the same with me except I lose some time with the mines or turn back from the shackles because they have master hunters or the passage to the south has crossbowmen. I'll try to see how fast I can do next time.

I think the best thing to do on Heritage(as the player on the "left" side) is to:
- play inferno + Grok
- buy all war machines
- go take terrain boots(they help everywhere(?))
- free that lvl1 monsters guarded by lvl3 monsters
- hit the stables
- take shackles
- maybe kill that lvl guarding a major(if it's boost of a swift jorney - then it's time to switch boots )
- maybe kill that lvl3 gurding mercury
- kill that lvl5 guarding the scroll and take it with a secondary to pass it to Grok - secondary near Grok is needed for witch hut check anyway.
- get the *10% init ring
- maybe trade some resources in trading post
- visit castle and take upgrated 1-4(upg lvl4 is the most important) troops.
- visit the tree of knowledge
- kill lvl7 guarding passage to Deleb
- kill pit fiends
- break through teleport
- maybe lvl up Deleb by chest a bit so that she can pwn any creeps - she will return with some fodder to the caste and then creep more.
- Grok maybe go through a teleport and get those arties and a spell but generally his main task is to move and kill that lvl7 on other side. It's good to calculate movement points so that Grok moves "out of" fog of war and enters enemy castle with last movement points. Or maybe not enter it but attack enemy hero. Also, Grok can wait 1 day so that Deleb's 20 succubi is chained to caste - upgrade - then chain back so it really depends.
Generally, with inferno + Grok it's good to rush anyone. Deleb prize makes here as efficient creeping as possibe really worthwhile. Also, familiars help a lot vs necro and attacking necro ASAP means less chance for necro getting that stupid cold death perk.
Even, if Grok would fall somehow then it's still no tragedy because Deleb got fresh troops and she can become very strong very fast - she creeps like mad - poor AI is forced by single fodders/gated troops to cluster(AI is forced to attack if something is in range) and then shiny fireball makes a big boom on them.

Still, this whole "I free Deleb in one week" is only reliable with war machines - without them I'm pretty sure that would not be impossible.
And yes, creeps matter - master hunters are undoable without war machines for sure. Lvl 5 guardning scroll creeps can be liches but with gating war machines it's easy.
Unfortunately, lvl7 guarding deleb can be titans or emeralds. I wasn't that unlucky but if it happens then it's best to go down and recruit those lvl6 troops on the bottom and then go east through that guarded by "any" creature teleport to opponent's area(but with chained from the main base fresh new week creatures).

This raises another important question, is the barbarian AI smart enough to use the right magic shatter skills for the right faction? Like Destructive/summoning for dungeon or Light/dark for Haven?
But this thread is obviously about pvp so iŽll leave it that.
Stronghold seems weak in my opinion and i havent had any problems handling the AI at least. I dont think Dungeon will have any problems handling them either...

In a dungeon rush meteor shower would be good for reducing the rage of the stronghold creatures. For stronghold going woth witch-docters might help because they don't do anything really until ammo for cyclops. Or split the goblins upgrades so you snare the furies.

if you want the ability of Witch-doctors to work I recommend that you do not split them. They will only do more harm if their ability doesnŽt work
