Since I play mainly single player, it would be a moot point. Of course sometimes I use map editors to give the AI overwhelming forces and such just for kicks, but sometimes I would like to just make things as I see fit. Like if I felt like making an all dragon faction that did not suffer the negative morale (without leadership skills) I should be able to hehe.

I think it should be there downloadable.
People who would like to use it for fun.
Why not.
In major Tournies etc where i used to play in, I wouldnt use it.
There are many people who can create Mods themselves.
Players & the such.

I think the tools we have now should be enough to give some balance to the game, and even make it quite interesting (changing the abilities trees).
What I find inconceivable is the unfriendly Editor and specially the lack of big Text boxes (I know we have Pitsu's MOD, but I mean we should have them on the default game), and a thing which turns me crazy: where the hell are the Event blue boxes (of Heroes III)?

You can make those pretty easily: Create a region, and then script the region to do something. Downside is that it means scripting, which is a headache.

Good find, Maurice!
This one isn't in the pdf. How did you stumble upon it?
It should be added to the wiki, to make sure it's publicized. I know I'll use it myself when testing. Testing buildings was the more painful thing, since I had to go through all the necessary turns to get there... Now it won't be.

I was ploughing through the various campaign missions, when I suddenly noticed that one. I'm currently collecting a full list of *all* standard script functions that they've used in all of the campaigns and single scenarios. Once found, I'm adding the various arguments used in the function, explaining what they mean.
I've noticed that most of the script functions that they didn't add to their documentation are functions they only very rarely used. The UpgradeTownBuilding is only used in 1 mission, if I recall correctly. The same counts for OverrideAdvMapDialogPos, also used in just 1 mission. Yet, it's a "standard" function nonetheless.
I'll see if I can post the full listing once I'm done with them. Currently about halfway .
