That's the missing anomaly, BAD! Excellent. Boy, there's a lot of correcting to be sure! Almost more work that correcting a random one. Okay.....this is great. Thanks, again.

WHy cant you play the map? Whats wrong?
well when i tried to load it into the map editor the editor encountered fatal error
edit: i inserted it into my maps file and now the game crashes when i try to select a scenario.
I'm a simple minded kinda guy also. Here is a complete, easy to understand step by step for the H4Utility:
Some hints to use random map made by Slava Salnikov
1. Make a folder on your desktop and extract there the files.
2. Go to Start Menu, Run and type CMD, after that, type cd desktop. Enter. Then type cd h4util, then enter again.
3. TO generate maps, use the following commands:
H4util –wr2
will generate a Medium Random Map.
H4util –wr3
will generate a Large Random Map.
H4util –wr4
will generate an Extra-Large Random Map.
For Picture Maps:
Here's what you need to do. Step by Step:
0. Creature your picture. The landscape so to speak.
1.It must be in a 256 bitmap image, 218 x 218 pixels for an XL map. Name it MiniMap. (Does'nt have to be MiniMap.bmp. The .bmp will be added for you automatically.)
2. Make a blank XL map and properly named the map. In this case, dummy. It can have above and under.
3. Put both files in the H4util folder.
4. Open the H4Runner and type in: dummy.h4c -w -l0 ( For underground, -w -li)
5. NOTE: -w -small "L" NOT 1 "one" as is shown in the instructions. The l is for "landscape", I assume. So, -w l0 for above or -w -l1 for under.
6. Run it.
7. You'll get an exact copy of dummy.h4c, but it's titled dummy1.h4c, and the minimap will appear on dummy1.h4c.
8. As stated in posts earlier in this thread, be prepared for tons and tons of correcting.
These work everytime.

A picture map is pretty much what it says. You can take a picture from anything and make it into a map. All you have to remember is the parameters of the picture to become a map. For instance, I have a geographical map of Alaska. I turned the jpeg into a 256 bitmap and sized it to 218 x 218 pixels and then converted it into a map using the instructions II gave. The picture you make will appear in the mini map. Also, there will be tons of corrections once the picture is converted to a H4 map.

You can also go to Celestial Heavens. Go into the files section and find it there.
