If there would be Dark Human town, these would be my creatures:
Name, Upgrade and Abilities:
Rogue > Thief = Scout (shows correct enemy army numbers), Steal (1 gold per every Thief after every battle. Steals gold from enemy treasury if wins enemy hero in battle)
Bounty Hunter > Mercenary = Shooter, No melee penalty.
Gladiator > Slayer = Enraged, Blade of Slaughter. (Slayer could be Baron as well)
Harpy > Valefor = Large Creature, Fly, Strike and Return, No Enemy Retalation.
Exorcist > Dark Bishop = Shooter, Caster (Slow, Curse, Raise Skeletons)
Wolfman > Werewolf = Large Creature, Howl in Moon (Dash), Regeneration, Frightful Aura, Immunity to Mind Control.
Dark Messiah > Lucifer = Large Creature, Fly, Death Stare (H3 style), Evil Strike (Evil-eye of Cyclops)

As i sai before i dont think "dark haven" desveres a town but i feel that... i just must do a creature line-up
No alternate upgrades included.
Haven has split and have been corrupted by necromancers.
1. Bandit-Assasian
2. Hunter-Witchhunter
3. Griffin-Dire Griffin
4. Tormenter-Master Executer
5. Shadow Priest-Demilich or Shadow Bishop
6. Dark Cavalier-Black Champion
7. Fallen Angel-Scarlet Angel

Isn't that just the renegades all over again?
Personally, I don't favor the idea of good and evil clones of each other because, in the end, alignment and story is just a secondary layer to the game, and not of primary importance to the gaming experience. Thus, having two towns that are exactly the same just with different stories seems completely superfluous to me.

Yes it is. That's why I personaly don't like the idea of town for Haven renegades. Maybe a Thief Town, with Robber Knight called Hideout...

Nah, they should just make Free Cities a town then.
And it would fit to Dark Messiah.
Free Cities was going to be a neutral town in "my heroes 6 ".
edit: i found somehting intresting when i was looking at the Age of Heroes (i was doing creatures for the Bonus Faction Contest) and was on the Inferno page.
So i looked at the Devils and looked at their cost and the funny thing was that the devils upgrade cost was...
3666 gold
I storngly think that Nival/Ubisoft did that as an easter egg
Maybe somebody saw it before me but i thougt it was really funny.
Also archdevil and devil has the numbers 66 and 99 in their health points.

I do not understand this thread really.
Why do you need a evil haven faction when they are already evil, see the red clothes of the alternatives that represent blood.
Even if they will be replaced by normal haven units they always will remain in small groups attacking the towns in the griffin empire.
P.S
I would like an aliance with Iferno-Haven-Necropolis and Dungeon against all. There is a saying "Asha uses all".I say "Urgash destroys all".
I do not understand you with 3666 and 99.

Yes, this is not random, Nival made this reference to the Number 666 throughout this faction: Nightmare health is 66, price is 666(!), , Devil damage is 36-66, cost is 3666 and 4666, HP is 199, etc., Pit Fiend damage of 13-26 and Pit Lord of 13-31 ... Lots of odd numbers and 3, 6 and 9's here.

They look evil?
I have no idea.
But maybe people do it just because it looks evil, like orcs.
Orcs are nice.

Werewolfs aren't nice and i don't see any reason why they couldn't be in evil human fanction. They are half human and half beast where other they could fit better? In Necropolis or Inferno? They would be very cool creatures in the series but problem is where to place them. Also as low level creature they wouldn't be that exiting lv4-6 sounds good to me.
EDIT: yes they are wild creatures and not necessarily evil creatures but every beast creatures are evil alignment for me. Besides they are more often possessed by the curse and can't do anything about it and they act violently. Oh man you know what Werewolf is yourself, they are evil savvy?

Bandits and thieves are outcasts, they don't have entire civilisations.
They don't even wage war, they just steal.

Yes, but that was Heroes 4.
Also, Werewolves aren't evil most of the time, same as wolves: They do bloodthirsty things to survive. A creature that had never seen humans could look into a highschool in, say, America, and decide they are a viloent, cruel race that has dominated the planet, when there are lots of good humans out there. Julie Kenner, David Clement-Davies, J K Rowling, Joss Whedon, Mother Teresa etc.
Wolves are putnar, hunters. They have to kill to eat, they have to eat to live. Yet they can be just as tender and loving as a human, such as with their cubs.

I like the idea of a dark haven type town. Maybe I will work on a unique one later. However, if they did this one of the other factions would have to go. Keep a balance and all that. Or a neutral and another good would have to be introduced. Also skills and such should not just be off of Haven, too much like renegade. We are talking viscious and cruel, not just 'rebellous'. Unfortunately it would be yet another 6 human, 1 creature thing.. bleh. Oh well.

The only Dark haven creature that would be cool would be a Dark Angel. All others would be uninteresting.
I'm all for an evil town, more evil than Inferno and Necropolis. But if you wanna do that, you need to think up some new, creative evil creatures, not ripping existing creatures (other than angels) and simply making them black.

Some (totally random) creatures that I think would go good with a dark human faction. Not worring about stats, or which level to put them in.
Thugs, Brigands, Pirates. Simple enough. Rob, kill, and steal.
Accuser, Witch Hunter, False Witness. Would have some skill to negate another creatures magic casting.
Mercenary (bad spelling for 100 Alex), Corrupt Captain, Infiltraitor.
Homuculous (again probably spelled wrong), Grafted Beast, Twisted One. One of the darkest things of mythology is the experiments some did to try to create powerful creatures. Some (like these) were once human, but had other foul beasts mixed in with them. In order they were...demons, some sort of animal (bear was a common one), and some mythical beast (chimera, dragon, ect). Of course they never turned out quite right. Specials could litterally be just about anything somebody wanted to use.
There is some semi-original (hehe) ideas.

Quote: I'd rather see a corrupted Sylvan town, that'd be pretty interesting with Plague Treants and maybe Venom Spawn.
What about dungeon? they´re pretty much corrupted elves arent they? There´s a reason why they´re called Dark elves. Would the dark elves still have they´re own faction then? That venom spawn idea, would it be a spell? Cause i really think the game could use a poison spell.

The Dungeon represents elves who live below the ground, not necessarily corrupted ones. I was thinking more along the lines of a dark version of the Sylvan forest rather than the same basic race living in caves (I know Dark Elves are 'evil' but they aren't exactly 'tainted' as it were).
The Venom Spawn is a creature (from Heroes IV, please don't shoot me) but it would work well as a summonable unit, I suppose. Not that such a town would ever exist.
