Best "level 1" perk?
Wich is your favorite "lv1 perk"?
When i sey lv1 perk i mean like battle frenzy and master of....
NOT things like preperation or wizards reward.
My favorites are:
Batlle frenzy:nearlly doubles dmg of defenders, goblins and peasents.
Intellegence: Doh, 50%+mana, do i really need to explain this??
Master of mind: Mass slow + mass confusion
(Ps: my first thread, just critisise things thats wrong.)

Resourcefulness > more money and such from loose resources, yes please.
Master of Ice

Seems like a weird choice unless you love the vampire princes. For necro and dungeon it is a rather useless ability.

Except to get warlock's luck. Besides that fact...almost completely useless.

I would rather go for Mark of the Wizard + Frenzy/Divine Vengeance instead of lucky destructive spells. Warlock still is the king in spelldamage.

There's a place for everything I guess. You can still curse the opponent and then blast him to bits Luck also gives you some damage boost so you can pick other mini arties.

Skeleton warriors and vampire princes both benefit from soldiers luck? There are still much better choices.

My favourite is Battle Frenzy. It's very useful not only when you have low level creatures but when you have high ones as well. It's very useful along with the army's strenght in numbers.

Nice thread Oscarius...
Hmm, Both battle frenzy and vitality are good for my little defenders, pretty much doubles their effeciency
Tactics is vital for many factions since it gives some of their units some action in the first turn. Itīs also great for Havenīs marksman vs Dragon utopia strategy...
Of course, it all depends on the faction.

The reason why i picked vitality and battle frenzy isnīt just because they give good bonuses, the skills they lead to is also great. Iīve recently started playing with Fortress. I use Helmar, who is a very magic-aligned hero. The thing is, i donīt buy mage guilds, instead i choose vitality and/or battle frenzy from defence and attack skills and get Power of Endurance and Power of Speed. This tactic sucks in short games since it can take a bit of time getting the right skills. On the other hand i get lots of spare resources Iīm sure this tactic isīnt exactly news for some of you guys but anyway...

Definitely master of mind. If you're going for dark its easily the best and most powerful perk. On expert its nearly game breaking unless they can counter it and it only costs half initiative? Seriously overpowered. Especially compared to the weak a$$ Summoning perks (+4 to spell power when you cast Raise Dead! Wooo!)
