Nick question
Imagine that when you came here to sign up, your desired nick was already taken (no matter how rare the name can be). What would be the nick you'd sign up then?
If Milena was taken, I'd be Lady_Milena.

I'd take rogue27 if rogue was taken - usually rogue is taken, so I'm rogue27 in more places than I am rogue anyway.

27? no real reason. it's as good as any other number. It is not my favorite number, but me and my friends used to have a theory that it was the most common number, and if you watch tv and movies, you will notice it shows up a lot in backgrounds, on apartment doors, etc.

Through the years, this is the list I have developed, and incorporated into how I now choose names:
1) rMs/RMS (commonly taken in large communities)
2) Silverroshei (I can't believe this is actually used, sometimes)
3) R_M_S (even this is taken, sometimes)
4) Silver Rose (also my Nom de Plume)
5) Lord Magnus (one of my first, original aliases)
6) Celestial Mage (it's rare that I have to rely on my sn for AIM)
Once I ever encounter a place where none of them work, I'll be sure to let you know

I would use my title as a nick... N. I. R. ...not, in any case my old (and now dead) "Ash" alias... if that was taken too I would have to use my high school nick... "Da Bat"

In Poland on chats "Nickman" was taken, so I`m Nickman77.
(I know it`s stupid.)
In Poland Nickmane means Nick. Therefore I`m Nickman(77) likewise Batman or Superman.
Why 77???

don't like putting numbers after my name. I find it rather... *muses* depersonalizing. But that's me, of course.

I don't know... not quite happy with the ones I came up with here... never had any real problems with my nick. Haven't been a very active chatter, either, so that might explain some of it.

I was going to pick..
SubZero...
but then I noticed it was taken 
Then I registered as Sha_Men 
just to notice I was the one register as SubZero earlier
Now I'm thinking changing my account to SubZero...Don't know will I do it. Have to ask Val. I could give up all bonuses and penalties for that...have to think about that...

If Thunder was taken (which usually is taken) I would take either Tazar or Ice-before-Steel (don`t ask why). In mIRC I`m almost all the time Thunder^ because there is already one or two Thunders  . Sometimes even Thunder^ is taken so I have to be Thunder^^.
