these stars are not the count of your qps but the ones which appear under your avatar. dunno why you did it that way. its far easier to explain it using qp count IMO

correct it! you get stars for posts, not posts for stars. you put "=" sign, however, the order may confuse a newcomer.

Hmmmm.... you could try changing the "status" field in your profile so it doesn't include words like "star" and "hero". That might fix it so the yellow stars show again. (Avoid any and all words which may show as part of the generated status.)
But, yes, it's no doubt a bug.

I believe this happens due to negative post counts caused by massive deletions. So if you have 200 posts, but I've deleted 300 of your posts in the wastelands your actual count will be -100 - and that is why you'll have no stars.

I heard that 50 qp's means you are Praiseowrhty, or something like that.
And I thought there were numerous threads that discussed this, and the FAQ tells about this too.

Well, you could always try changing it just to see if it works. Avoid any words that may otherwise be present in a title. If you had a small post count before you changed it you would not have had yellow stars. Perhaps your previous wording of the status also had a problem?
@Pandora: According to her profile isabelyes has 244 in post count and she has 277 current posts on the forums. The 244 is what normally counts for counting out the yellow stars, the difference between actual posts and post count is derived from double posting, triple posting and for deleting your own topics. (And you can get a netplus if another member deletes a topic which you have posted in since the member who deletes takes the -1 post count for the post in that scenario.)
Any moderator deleted posts or topics always deducts the same amount from both of these numbers. (All the above could of course have been changed by Valeriy since I was last active on the forums.)

It seems like a several members just have this bug of "invisible yellow stars" since they registered; Elite_Kill, wog_edn, Korejora, and some others, including Isabelyes. It's not something they have gotten with the time, after posting. Actually, it's hard to tell if something they had done before they got to 21 posts (first yellow star) caused this, but I assume it's just a bug. It may even have a known reason (for the mods).
*The ability of deleting your own topics has been banned since you left HC.

Hmm.... interesting thing about all these three is that they do have a status which includes the word "star", which may well be a problematic word. (I think the image files for the yellow stars contain that word.)
I'm not surprised that deleting your own topics has been disallowed. I noticed that there was a "no edit" protect for old posts as well. (I couldn't update my own index file because the post was too old.)

Yeah, and two of them deffinatly made those customs after they found out about the yellow star bug. (starless, no yellow stars)

Thing is. I don't think the status is the only sensitive field. The system may be sensible for the word appearing anywhere in your profile. Two of the above three have the word star in more than one place.
