TSoD's sister
and I don't know exactly how to do, but you can still download one of those mods which add new heroes, and open it to see how it works.

Hi,
Is there any way to reduce chance or damage percentage of luck by changing data files of heroes 5? If there is, then it can be changed by some scripts or there is some .xdb file (I didn’t find such possibility in GameMechanics\Skill\CommonSkills\Luck\Luck.xdb or any others).

Open up "GameMechanics\RPGStats\DefaultStats.xdb" and look for <LuckAndMorale>

Damnit, i have a problem again. I'm trying to add a new necro hero to a game and i edited xdb files which i've needed to edit, but when i start a game, the hero looks like this:
I've made a texture of a hero and his horse and the hero texture works but the texture of horse doesn't work. I don't know what i did wrong, and which xdb files or textures i should edit. Help!!

Hmm, odd, it's not a missing material or texture, so I suppose it must be something wrong with either of those. The first thing I'd do is set the horse texture back to normal, and check that works. Make sure you're doing exactly the same thing for both textures. If you are, well, sometimes the textures are stored in different formats, you ought to be able to find this out by looking in the relevant texture xdb files.

I've set te horse texture to normal - it was working. The next step i used hue/saturation on horse'texture and put it into the right folder. It was the same effect as in these screens. The format of this texture is DXT3. I've downloaded a Raven model hero from unique heroes models topic, and changed xdb files in my hero as Raven example. The hero model use textures Necromancer-HorseSG5.(Material).xdb and Necromancer-HorseSG7.(Material).xdb as the hero and horse textures. I changed it for my own hero, and nothing happens. I really don't know what is wrong. Texture can't be empty, because i was opening this in my Photoshop and everything with this was right.

I'm sure you didn't mean to write it, but don't forget that (Material) files aren't textures. Beyond that, I don't know what else to say.

The problem can come from :
Geomtery : Check that there is enough materials waited by the model in <MaterialsQuantity>XXX</MaterialsQuantity>
Material file :
-It does not point to a texture.
-DXT3 is set on "false"
Model : It does not point to the good material file. Fix it in having your materials and texture IN THE SAME FOLDER that the model file. Don't forget to edit your material files :
<Texture href ="YourTextureXDBFile.(Texture).xdb#xpointer(/Texture)"/>
=> you noticed that the texture href point on a XDB file (thta point to the dds file), not directly on the dds file.

I have a feeling there's a file name error or typo.
Probably you named the Texture extension as .(Texture) and not .dds (since some files tend to be named .(Texture).dds )

Hi all!
I have a question:
Effect of animation really couldn't be read by anim of ModelInstance or I made a mistake as usual?

Unluckily, you are right. It is impossible to attach effects to a ModelInstance. I can't, anyways... And it is very annoying...

That is very sadly. My new creature will not be as good as I expected.
But thanks for enlightenment
