My Grunt :
I know, it's only recoloring skin, but I wanted to do a easy creature, for one time. Noticed that I change it's sword by the axe of the executioner Héhé, easy OK, but not "too" easy
(even if for some of you, adding a modelinstance is not complicated...
It is for me, some times )
I write the description and then release the creature.

Looks cool, but I would make the skin a more dark green though.

Hi everyone..I'm new to this modding thing.
I've downloaded some ncf creatures,
my question is how to make it available in my town?
For example, i want to get crystal dragon instead of emerald dragon
or death angel instead of spectral dragon. Can it be done?

It is simple. Just rename the main file, for ex. Creature_412.xdb (Death Angel) to Shadow_Dragon.xdb (Spectral Dragon). All files you need are in big file data.pak.

So what i have to do is unpack data.pak with winrar and find GameMechanics\Creature\Creatures\Necropolis, replace shadow_dragon.xdb file with creature_412.xdb file, then rename it to shadow_dragon.xdb then re pack it with winrar, right?

No, you have to unpack the mod file and rename GameMechanics/Creature/Creatures/Neutrals/Creature_412.xdb to GameMechanics/Creature/Creatures/Necropolis/Shadow_Dragon.xdb
You can do it as you said but it will take much more time.

I never tested it but I think it isn't enough. Super if that's works.

Yes, you are right, it's not enough. I tested it myself and found some bugs. You have to write CREATURE_BONE_DRAGON in <BaseCreature> and <PairCreature> and also change false to true in <Upgrade>. this way it will work absolutely normal but with another, less sutable camera. But I'm sure it is fixeble.

Done that n got "DB error", so i unpack data.pak, paste the mod file then re-pack it. It worked, i also change the dbx file so bone dragon can be upgrade to death angel. But here's the problem on the animation, the scythe is drop on the ground. How can i fix this?
Btw, how can i attach picture in my post?

This creature is without bug when you release it.
I'm sure in TOE the scythe is correct.
But, perhaps the modifications is not still enough. I think to AdvMapMonsterShared file.
But anyway, even if the creature becomes a faction one by modding maybe the working is not good just because the HOF executable, I dont know.
My advice: Try to get this creature in the necro faction with TOE before to try directly in HOF.
(if you have just HOF, I understand why you want NCF )
