Quote: "Hmmm. Very well. I doubt there'll be Demon cultists among the Orcs, so I'll start with the Free Cities." Where and what are the Free Cities...? And apparently he does affect the storyline. The developers told us that "while he would not appear in TotE, we would feel his presence" throughout.
Don't know if this is what Nival/ubi. meant: But they did make a scenario with Agrael(who is actully Raelag) . So in some way he is in the game. The scenario is ofcourse in the past . and Raelag is mentioned in the storyline somewhere.

I also want to give a to Bombur.
And there's all these characters in books that are Half Elves (including Raelag and Izzie's Children?) I wonder if there will be half dwarf/orc combos?

Did anyone else notice that Ylaya was not in the ending? She helps Zehir out by leading the attack on one of the Inferno strongholds, and yet she does not appear in the ending. Hmm...

Since when did biara become so powerful is the question I have to ask. As far as im concerend she was agrael's lacky. Then it took, ironically, Raelag (dark elf of agrael) and the (3 or 4?) other heroes at the end of the original H5 to beat her. Then she comes back in Tote all powerful demon and it take zehir to take her down. Makes no sense why she would have listened to agrael if she was stronger than him (since she was stronger than raelag) and then we have ZEHIR able to beat her. Come on ridiculous. Then they made it seem like that was the end all, but what about the demon sovereign he screws everything up.
All the factions have become allied due to new heroes and thus to maybe replace the negative feelings between the demons and everyone is the go kill the demon sovereign and get a new demon sovereign.
Thing is where is the demon sovereign? Biara isnt the end all!!

to avatarofwoe:
Biara is a spy that was infiltrated into Agrael's ranks by the Sovereign himself. As mentioned in her description, Sovereign always turns to her when things become tight.
On Sovereign topic:
Isn't it mentioned in Timeline that Kha'Beleth defeated other Sovereigns and declared himself the only Sovereign of Hell?

Quote: Where and what are the Free Cities...?
When Church of Light became the dominant religion of old Falcon Empire, everyone who still served Dragon of Air was exiled from the empire. The exiled later formed Free Cities of the East.
Stonehelm from DM is one such city, tough it might be mistaken for Imperial one because Elrath has a church there. But that church is probably just for those who were exiled from Empire for othre reason (like Lyana's Ancestors who were probabyl exiled to keep Falcon descendants safe).

Thanks for that Akul. It was more of a hypothethical question for those who haven't played Dark Messiah and wouldn't know, but the answer's appreciated
I've found solid proof that there's been more than one Sovereign by the way:
Quote: Ur-Vesphaal is the former Demon capital, first the residence and later the mausoleum of the current Sovereign’s predecessor. When the Sovereign killed him and moved the seat of power away, Ur-Vesphaal was slowly taken over by what was left of the competing army -- succubae. Now it’s their town.

There were more Sovereigns BEFORE Kha'Beleth killed theme and few more arose AFTER his presumed death in H5std.
Few Demon Lords might have declared themeselves Sovereign, but they were crushed too soon to be important.

the ending is how it is...
another question bothers me though
the producer said that although you wouldn't see Raelag you would feel he's around watching....., well I haven't
have you?
if the answer is yes...when?where?

Er, Kha-Beleth didn't die in the original Heroes V. If he had, he wouldn't have returned in Dark Messiah now would he?

I mean beating biara was necessary obviously, but where was the demon sovereign in this whole shabang at the end of Tote. Like how can they rebuild while the demons are just building up troops again, not rebuilding an empire, take the demons down when they are weak.

As I have said, the Sovereign (Kha-Beleth) did not die. Also note that there is no date given for that single scenario. I am 100% sure that it took place before H5's original campaigns.
