Undead Faction Mod

Hi, if you read the Undead Cyclops thread than you probably know what this is about. The Heroes Community Forum is about to begin making yet another new faction. This faction will be of the race of undead demons/orcs/humans(i think adding a couple of them will be fun!) We already have the 7tier base unit, abviously the Undead Cyclops. As Antipaladin suggested, we could take off the wings of imps and create an undead Imp? I don't know. So, here is the "To-Do List"
To-Do List for the Undead Faction mod:
-Thinking up of new Units-[Daystar],[Antipaladin],[]
-Choosing which Town use as the base-[majority rule]
-Descriptions-[]
-Textures for Creatures[Cepheus], [Daystar], [Gnoll_Mage]
-Textures for the Town-[],[]
-Mechanics for the Town(buildings and stuff)-[],[]
-Textures for the Hero-[]
-Stats and Creature Abilities-[skullman],[]
-Special Racial ability for the Hero(mechanics)-[],[]

This is basically a second Necropolis. This is my opinion and feel free to criticize it but instead of thinking up a whole new faction, think up a few new creatures you would like and then likewise make some non-undead creatures and make a big Neutral-creatures mod. Your idea doesn't sound like something that needs a new city, it sounds like a spin off of Necropolis.

Another cool thing would be if you could make all these undead units that could be raised accordingly with Necromancy skill. Undead everything (except those super-awesome Archangels)!

Ps - Being lifeforms of light, angels couldn't be risen anyway.

I was going to be nice and subtle, not scolding someone from my blessed Necropolis, but it seemed branched enough. I endorse it.

Its a great idea, mind you, but I can't think of how this fits into a non-Necromancer faction. Unless...yes of course, Necromancer Barbarians!

Not just barberians,but a new type of it,the wingless dark imps,for a start..
then we can use retexotred peasent i think,to forum a mutant or a zombie lord.

Told ya- undead treant already exists...
The only thing you need to do is to ask someone about where it is.
So tier 7 and 6 are booked I think
Also, wouldn't it be better to make those creatures risings only and not to make another faction for them?
I think that having 2 Necropolises in one game is overdoing...

Exactly my point. There can't be two Necrosm then there would be two IMBA factions. As neutrals, that would be great (but I would like some other neutrals as well because it would be wierd to have 8 Undead neutrals and like 5 others). But I can't really think how you can make this a faction unless its a mod that isn't expected to incorporate into the game (I think it was Radar who had something like a Secret Base project?). In that case, way to go.

We are not making a second necropolis. necropolis is a faction of undead mages from the Silver cities who learned necromancy and the complicated art of rising undead creatures from dead ones who were alive not so long ago. this faction is going to consider of DEMONS and ORCS who died and were brought back to life by 5th eclipse(i think that's a good idea). the hero WON'T be able to raise undead creatures from dead units who are freshly killed. but maybe we could do something so that when the hero kills a creature it get's it's "spirit-in-a-bottle" and then when he goes back to the town he can raise them there.

We need to find a name for undead demons,i think it already have a name though,lets use eastern mythology for that ,name of heroes and such...i can reserch,would you like that wolfstan?

Sure, go ahead Antipaladin. And since radar posted this recouloring guide on the forum I think I can take half of the job.
EDIT: just updated the masterpost a little bit. also, you can apply for the job at anytime, the texturing won't be started until we think up of the creatures. Also, as you might have noticed, there is a [] beside each job. Somewhere there is 1 somewhere there is 2, it represents how many jobs are availble. When someone applies for one, their name will be put inside the []. We already have 3 base creatures. Undead Imp(we need a better name, now!), Plague Treant, Undead Cyclop(from DMoMM). another possibility is making an undead archer unit. Base one will be a retextured Skeleton Archer, named Deathshooter, first upgrade will be a retextured Archer(from Haven) named Zombie Archer, second upgrade will be a retextured Crossbowman(renegade one), named Crossbow-undead. I think that will work perfectly for the 3rd tier.

I am trying to help out with the Undead faction mod, and I'm creating a spectral form of the wolf, called a Searcher (Clementian Mythology)

Here is the zip file.  I put the .zip file in UserMODS and renamed the extension to .h5u, but nothing happened!  What am I doing wrong?

If you want I can email you the .h5u, I would upload it but mediafire is being contrary...

here's my offering to this mod.  Its called the Searcher, based on a creature from Clementian mythology.  Its sort of a bloodthirsty spectral wolf.
