User Campaign project, help needed.
Since Tales of Karador is on the finishing line, I think that there should be more user campaigns than just LotA and ToK.
So here is my idea:
Minotaurs want freedom, so they slay dark elves and free all minotaur slaves.(maybe too much like orc campaign in ToE)
Main Hero:
Gunnar
Biography:
Gunnar didn't die under the reckoning, he teleported to Ashan and found out that minotaurs were used as slaves, so he beginned his quest to free the Minotaurs. What he lacks in brains he makes up for in instinct.
Skills:
Basic Irresistible Magic, Basic Logistics, Aura of Swiftness
Spec:Swift Striker
Their town could be maybe recolored Fortress and primary magic shcools would be Dark and Destructive. I'm not sure which racial suits them best.

I would rather see another faction with shatters and shouts and that matches minotaurs best.
I can help you with history and the storyline, if you want.
And it wouldn't be as orcs one...
It would be a bit elvish:
Minotaurs had their leader who didn't want to fight and was encouraging them to live in peace. His name was Uglath.
One day Uglath begged with his master a day free of work and went to Raelag to ask him for giving more rights to minotaurs. Raelag said, that he will reach the decission, and said to Uglath that he needs to come the next day.
But that very next day the leader was slained...
His nephew, who were very charismatic and quick-tempered made all minotaurs go to war versus the race of dark elves bringing lizards and Hydras go with him.
That's only the begining. If you don't like it- let me know I'll try harder...
About creatures, let's take all unrespecting creatures- another type of golems (maybe crystal and golden ones), another type of gobos, bears and wolves...
And that's all I think...
Now the speciality and we have the faction XD

I already found it ridiculous that Minotaurs were slaves to Dark Elves in the first place.
Heroes V minotaurs sound proud, honorable and far more powerful in direct physical combat then pansy elves.
My flavour opinion aside, I think its to much to base a whole faction on them.
Say they tag along with the orcs.
Orcs lay siege to a dark elf town and after leveling it find and set free its slaves who join their ranks, then a quest begins to save others and rally the minotaurs under the orcish banner.
Ofcourse that would be very Warcraft though.... but it just makes sense.
(Because Warcraft makes sense....gotte love those games...all 3 of em....not counting WoW for obvious reasons.)

Hey, let's be a bit creative!
Making another orcish campaign is not-so-funny.
And making release-the-slaves faction is a gret fun IMHO...
I think golems could be casters, with cleasining ofc.

@Lesij: The story is nice, but we could maybe use old heroes like Darkstorm, Dace etc.. Golems would be nice and maybe green goblins could be cool.
@MrDragon: It would be boring to play with the orcs again, and what creature could the minotaurs replace?

I must have been a litlle sleepy. I meant: Instead of Gunnar died under the reckoning, he had been teleported to Ashan and got angry when he found out that minotaurs was used as slaves, so he begin on a quest to free the Minotaurs

I havent played H3, but still he is better hero to be included than Dace.

Its wierd. Everyone is perfectly willing to undertake a mod that would take a lot of hard work and effort, And much time. But they cant bother to round up a few averages to create stats lol. Anyway stats are always difficult to judge until you beta-test.

Maybe change the skeleton(?) to something other.
Gunnar was a minotaur from Nighon(Land in Antigirach(spelled right?)) When the reckoning came(giant destruction of the planet) some escaped to h4 world(Axeoth) But Gunnar wasn't included in H4, so we(you) can make him that he was sent to Ashan and there he found out the fate of the minotaurs and want to free them from being slaves
