2nd, about the magic- give minotaurs shatters!!! They weren't so enlighted when they were slaves, so they should ban others ability to harm them with magic. Also shouts should be nice, but in this case they should bring some backup with racial someone would invent quite quickly I think...
Or...
I know! Maybe minotaurs should have speciality called empathy, which will allow hero to get luck and morale with normal attacks and after each morale/luck of hero- all units will get init/dmg boost, what do you think???

it sounds very good. their special skill for their team could be something like basic freedom or something. and it could be like the gating ability or the wolves howl ability ore something. and that it summons another stack of the same creatures come and aid them in battle. this is just an idea.

Golems look fine I think, about the racial- let's be constructive and not base on something that was m,ade, but come up with brand new ideas...

Sorry to put a damper on things here, but forget about constructive and new ideas for skills if you plan to make this into a working faction.  You can't create new skills to work in the game, you see, you've got to use what's there.

You can, however, give these Minotaur heroes the Shatter skills, and something other than Blood Rage (like Artificer, Runelore, Avenger or something).

Think about the town Minotaurs shall own while establishing skill sheet, 'cause some racials are less based on town's buildings, some more.

@carcity: Trogdolytes and beholders are already used in ToK, so we should'nt use them. Making the coat for golems is hard.
@Lesij: As Cepheus says, we can't make new racials, so irresistible magic, artificier, runelore and avenger are the only good choises we have. As for the shatters, maybe we can give some heroes shatter skill and some heroes magic. But here is a problem, if you have a warlock with basic shatter destructive, when he levels up, can he pick advanced shatter destructive?
I will post some artwork for heroes later today. As for the creatures, I was thinking Chrome Golem and maybe Trash Metal Golem or something like that. But keep posting your ideas
EDIT: Maybe we can create heroes that don't have any racials and just many other starting skills, or is this even possible?

those ogres are cool but i think that the warrior and the unuppgraded look to much like each other. maybe you could use a warmonger but you only make it smaller if you could do that. (sorry that i don't come with any pics i am not a very advanced moder).

I don't know is it possible to make models smaller. It's hard to make them look different, because they are using the same model.(Goblin Trapper model just doesn't fit) But I added chainmail to  ogre warrior and changed the skin more green compared to the ogre.

I need your opinions of which artwork suits Gunnar best:

I vote number 2. About the Ogre, how big his he? In the other HoMM games, the Ogre has always one of the good ones(H1 tier 3/5. H2 tier 4/6.  H3 tier 4/7. H4 Ogre mage tier 3/4). My point wasn't the tier, but size. Maybe good stats, but large creature? Only an idea, ofcourse

@vidoja: There is already some storyline in the earlier posts, but the only thing which is sure for the story, is the fact that Gunnar from H3 will be the main hero.

@guarder: I'm not recreating the old ogres, im just creating new creatures with goblins model and thats the only name which fits them.
EDIT: They are small creatures.

Should Ogre Mage have Decay as spell, or would it be imba?
