anyone play heroes on vista and do he have any problems with slow working of the game ?

I just dual installed Vista and XP {So I can play the earlier games again}. If you have all the installation disks, and download EasyBCD it is relatively painless to do

I play Heroes 5 on my laptop and I have vista. NO problems at all. Besides Vista doesnt help me beat Puppet master.

I'm not sure that having vista, the game rolls untill u reinstall directx 9.0c

true, versions will "coexist". installing dx9 will not replace completelly dx10 but it will add few files, naming them here its not important , which will make the game runs.
there is another solution if u dont want to install dx9.0c: you can simply add to game directory\bin\ the file "d3dx9_25.dll". u can find it free over the internet.

I have Vista, ive had no problems after 6 games so far, actually it works much better than the computer I used before tote. Ubi rooms have been a huge success for me since tote also, all my games worked great there so far.
