Memory Mentor
I was playing around with the Memory Mentor the other day and remarked some amusing issues with it. So being the generous person I am I thought I'd share it with the community
I hope you people will find this information usefull and care to share your own findings
Sorcery:
Taking the Arcan Excellence perk several times results in gaining 100 mana each time taken
Learning Magic Insight several times (and keeping the skill) lets you learn spells of at least lvl 4 and maybe lvl 5 from schools you have no mastery in. Spells can be learned from arcane libraries, mage vaults, or via the scholar skill.
I'm not quite sure about lvl 5 since I haven't tested it extensively having relearned it only twice.
To be continued ...

Don't forget. You keep the bonus stats from enlightenment even if you get rid of it. You can learn the level up perk, forget it (keeping the level) and put something else in it's place. You can ditch skills like scholor or Battle Lore with keeping whatever they have gave you (ie spells or battle cries).

Interesting thread kermit
I'd be interested to learn what happens with enlightenment and one time boots to a stat such as secrets of destruction. I don't think you lose the stats on unlearning them but do you gain them double? And what about perks that give free units? If you can't check them at your save I could have a look in a custom map.
Something else.. At sometime I had filled all my skills/perks and when I unlearnt something I was not given a new one. Don't know if that was a random temporary bug or it has to do with the skills being full.

About enlightment, I would believe to balance that you would have to remove the bonuses you have had from it. And really nice idea to keep getting free lvls .. get your ultimate hero in no time .
P.S. This made me wonder how long until the new patch comes ?

I wasn't able to test it unfortunately, but maybe you did.
If there is a tree skills (if you wanna get them you have to take some others), if you cut one of the "branch's" part, will u loose the skill, for eg. if you wanna get rid of ressistance, do you loose Luck of baba (if you have it already)

Heh, no Les, isn't that in such case you've to remove LotB first before able to remove MR? Just like you've to remove the 3rd perk before able to remove its associated Expert skill?

Ok guys look: Let's take a Demon Lord (because they are sooo awesome) open the skill wheel and you'll understand even better.
Lets take Expert Enlightenment and "Mentoring" as skills. Now it is not possible to unlearn any perk of Enlightenment before you unlearn Mentoring. It is also impossible to unlearn Enlightenment without removeing all it's perks. I hope that made things clearer.

@Lesij: Sorry, my question was kinda rhetorical My second statement was the confirmation. In fact, in the game, any skill/perk you're able to remove is highlighted, those that cannot (because being prerequisites of something else) aren't and can't be selected.

Ironicly, the orc boost of goblins (2 for every warrior you have) skill doesn't work multiple times when you re-learn it.

The Enlightenment thing doesn't seem to work with everyone. In campaigns, it worked fine for Gotai but when I tried with Zehir, he lost the stats along with the skill tree.
As for people that these bugs work for, you don't get double for relearning (you simply get nothing.)
