Tote release of Dragon Hill

Update 14. apr.2008
Fixed bug  (that "caravan" chest...)  As you know  chest can also give artifacts so that happend to Strider the other day  
Now I added an custom sphinx
I've also added 1 more random major artifacts on each side (close to 2'nd windmill)

I fogot to dis. tome of light magic when I added that relic on the map and since artifact are so rare on this map I had to disable it (so you not double up)
I've also dis. the all seeing crown since thats not a good major arties).........

Disabled Mask if Equity
Added a few more "eye of magi"
and thanx to Elvin  I needed to add custom shatter magic "seers" hut too.....  (if an Orc visit the one who's on the map they learn magic not shatter magic).....
added 1 major artifact in that "shatter" area
added startup sound....
added Tome of Light magic in the underground (both sides)

Ok if I understand you correctly, you are having problems starting any map.  Both Single player, and possibly multiplayer.  For multiplayer issues, please go to this thread.

http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=23011.  It answers a lot of questions on how to get started with Multiplayer.

For single player, is there an error message, do you have the CD?  If trying to play a certain map, is the box marked show multiplayer maps checked?  If not campain are you going to custom game?  Is it a random map?  Wish I could be more help, but without a bit more info I am shooting in the dark here.

Edit : As for this map..I am not the best at fan made maps.  I do know they have to be in your map folder, and unziped and named .h5m (I believe).  Try to make sure to download with Firefox, as IE has some weird naming habits.

_divine vengeance is ugly uninspired spell, however i dont disable
_amulet is too much crap for a relic, also helps only 1 race in 8, one that dont need extra help too, i disable that
_pendant, mapmaker choice, maybe too good for academy and devil, i dont disable

I'll try to explain... the Amulet is an Relic artifact... (and on this map there is'nt many around so I guess if that one was on the map  (as Relic) you sure be "pissed" useless as Relic.....
for the Pentant..... look here

So:

For Haven you say it's great.
But:
For Inferno: Extra Gating plus the devils can gate, so pretty good too.
For Sylvan: A fourth Favorite Enemy: maybe those paladins you were complaining about?
For Academy: Cheaper Micro artifacts... hmm... pretty good to me...
For Necro: More DE => More creatures
For Dwarf: Free Runes: that sounds good, at least early game.
For Barbarian: Faster Rage Levels... pretty effective don't you think?

For Dungeon: more Irrestistible Magic: ok I agree this is weak. But still, it boosts elemental chains so it's not that awful.

So why is it that imbalancing?

well today I've worked alot on the map several changes... and the artifact (Pendant of mastery) gonna be back...   not that big deal on this map..
I'm playing the new version right now (MP) after that I'll put it up..
