This map is great! I enjoyed it thoroughly until our final fight ;( But the map itself is a great game.

Yeah. I agree. it's a beautiful map, not too rich, just how I like it.
Still I wonder why all map makers feel obligated to include all level dwellings on their maps? That combined with the strong guardians make magic factions less viable.
At least at a first glance that's how it seemed to me.

I think on this map the dwellings are perfect because they provide choice. You almost certainly won't have money to recruit all your troops even in week 6 if you want them upgraded ect. Unless you have nice luck with some gold production or something like this. So you kind of need to choose which to bring more of, which to not bring. I don't think a magic race is crippled on a map like this, but its not as good as it would be on a nice fast rush map sure.

yeah, that almost ruined Striders game - he lost a total of 8 polar bears in final battle. He had one superb final with his runic abusers
