Correct. It doesn't matter from an in-game perspective, but it means his stats are being axed from the CS thread, ergo everyone else moves.

Quote: On an unrelated note, per Mytical's request Misty is being retired. I also haven't heard from wog in ages even via PM, so Brona is being put on hold. (Which is a pity because he had Berries I was hoping to trade for...but oh well. )
"Misty is being retired"? What that mean?
Also, now we're down to being only 4 active members of this RPG... WHY ARCEUS WHY?!
EDIT: Also, who are you going to decide whether or not the people chasing me finds me? Going to roll a dice or use the logic that they follow the tracks of the men/pokémon and finds the jeep?

Quote: "Misty is being retired"? What that mean?
"Misty is being retired" == "Mytical has decided that Mytical's health is interfering with gaming too much to continue playing in Helnith, and has very kindly informed the DM of this rather than drop out without a word. This absence is not expected to be temporary."
Quote: Also, now we're down to being only 4 active members of this RPG... WHY ARCEUS WHY?!
Ah, but we have four ACTIVE members. I would rather have four active people than four active people and five passive ones—especially when the passive ones don't bother tell anyone they're going to be MIA and vanish mid-conversation. Or mid-battle. That kills the game for everyone else.
Quote: EDIT: Also, who are you going to decide whether or not the people chasing me finds me? Going to roll a dice or use the logic that they follow the tracks of the men/pokémon and finds the jeep?
That would be telling. But there's not much in the way of tracks; dry hard ground here. I guess the real question is, "do you want to keep your head down, hope they lost your trail and/or you can bluff your way out/try an ambush/whatever OR do you want to take off at high speeds with a pair of bright headlights and a roaring engine telling everyone where you are and where you're going?" (Or think of a third option, but that you can do yourself. )

Haha, indeed! Which makes me look forward to meeting Mina and company again. After all, Gary OakChristian and Ash KetchumMina has a lot of fighting, accusation of suspicion and mind games to play.

Yeah, that was awkward all around. I try to have Mina chew Brona out for wanting to start a plague in the Pokemon population, and suddenly it's the voice of the DM talking.

...Right.
I'm going to want some volunteers to roll dice for me when that happens. And possibly for other things, as I still haven't figured out a way to roll up a dig spot for Mina purely with dice if she ever goes mining.

Damage. (Also conveniently located on the first page of this thread, third post down.) To-hit is listed on the Bulbapedia page for each attack (which should also give you the % chance for special effects, like Burn), Evasion and Accuracy mods are as follows, courtesy of Alkar:
-6 300%
-5 267%
-4 233%
-3 200%
-2 167%
-1 133%
0 100%
1 75%
2 60%
3 50%
4 43%
5 38%
6 33%
(Levels go other way around for Accuracy.)
Sleep chance-to-wake-up roll is a little different in Helnith: 20% chance of waking up +10% per turn asleep. (So if your Pokemon puts a Pokemon to sleep before the Pokemon attacks that round, there's a 20% chance it will wake up that round, 30% the next round, 40% after that and so on.)
Obedience is in the CS thread; hostility is something of a DM's choice thing, but normally ranges between -20 (helpful and friendly) to 20 (hates you passionately), or 0 to 40 when Shadowed. Legendary Status is 0 if they're not a Legendary Pokemon and 20 if they are. Extenuating circumstance is also a DM thing, and ranges from -10 to 10. (-10 being something like, 'we'll die if we don't work together' and 10 being 'you're asking me to kill my friends.')
I currently use random.org for random number generation.

Alright, seems good with the damage/ evasion/ accuracy thing (I already knew about those).
It's a good thing to know about that hypnosis formula (isn't it 70% chance of sleep for up to 5 turns and then auto wake up on turn 6 in the normal game?) and would you mind me adding in extenuating circumstances for that as well? (Things like a pokemon using the moved Uproar, Outrage, Screech and Explosion would make it 30% more likely that the sleeping pokemon would wake up, dayturnal pokemon will have a 10% harder time waking up at night and vice versa, etc)
I would only determine obedience if it would fall below 100%, right?
And what is the formula for actual damage? (How are the stats "Attack", "Special Attack", "Defense" and "Special Defense" added in to the calculations?)

On Sleep: Depends on the Generation. You can add whatever external influences you like, just remember that you'll have to remember and calculate every time something like that comes up.
On Obedience: That is correct. Normally I don't worry about it unless it's a situation where it should very obviously apply, example: for a fresh-caught Pokemon much higher level than the ones you're training currently, like Stacey's Bronzor. Or if you stole the Pokemon in question. Or you're commanding someone else's (or wild Pokemon), or if the Pokemon is Legendary.
I do occasionally roll for certain situations on a Pokemon that is otherwise obedient. Like, Mina's Sandshrew got an obedience roll outside the Shrine of Light vs. doing something unusual, because every time prior to that that she'd asked Sandshrew to do something other than attack, Sandshrew got hit and/or KO'd.
Which reminds me: dodging—as in, telling your Pokemon to evade attacks rather than attack—gives the Pokemon a 30% chance of being missed. (As in, a 100% accuracy move like Thundershock will now only hit 70% of the time, and a 95% accuracy move like Tackle will now only hit 66% of the time.) Defending on the other hand halves damage from attacks. Both begin at the beginning of the round and last for the duration of the round. They're not options anyone uses often, but they are valid options in this game.
On Special/non-Special Attack/Defense: With rare exceptions, if the attack is a Special attack (examples: Hyper Beam, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt) you use the Special Attack of the attacker and the Special Defense of the defender, if it's a Physical attack (Giga Impact, Flare Blitz, Explosion) you use the Attack and Defense respectively. Whether the attack counts as Special or Physical is listed on the Bulbapedia page in the stat block at the top.
(If you've ever noted how updates slow to a crawl when Bulbapedia is down, now you know why. Serebii works in a pinch, but isn't as search friendly.)

But the formula to calculate damage is something like ((Move power x user's attack or special attack) / target's defense or special defense) x Stat boosts, right?
