Well, out of those you picked, the 3rd entry sounds like the best choice. After all, there's none of those running around Helnith (at least, not until now. )
Choice #8 would've been a handicap. You can have one later...maybe, but as a starter, that'd be kinda bad.

Ohh yeah almost forgot:
Can someone give me a link to a place where I can see diffrent pokemon abilitys? It's kinda long since I played pokemon and the only move I know what does is tackle
Ohh yeah, I also knew that (()) = OOC you said it in the master post.
And I also knew the evolving was based on defence and attack.
and one more thing: What the hell was my pokemon of choise #8? I can't remember all I listed for you Was it Sableye? If so why is he a cheat?

It was Slakoth...and I'm sure you don't want your turns looking like this, at least not at the beginning...
Slakoth uses [attack]
Enemy is hit for X damage!
Enemy uses [attack]
Slakoth is hit for X damage!
Slakoth is loafing around...
And let's not even go into what happens if said foe has Protect/Detect.

hehe, your right. Btw winterfate, I kinda don't understand why the others didn't get to start with Spearow? I mean, he was in the first route in pokemon blue red and yellow, I remember it well, cause it was the first pokemon I fought(except rival) and the first I caught.

@mamgaeater: Former Elder of Hillsbreak Town. Several months prisoner in the Spectral Dimension. Father of Spencer and Klandon. Thrown into said dimension by Klandon. (some son, eh?  )

@Alkar: Noted. You know, if anyone in the group wins the prize Ditto, you can breed with B-E-T-A's Tyrogue to get one that way.
(Heck, I can imagine you guys will be frequenting the Day Care if that happens! )
EDIT: @B-E-T-A: According to the FAQ's I checked, Spearow's first route appearance is the route to the left of Viridian Town. (They, and consequently I, could be wrong though. )

Also, if you want Pichu to evolve with the new ability I made up (Voltage), you need to equip it with the Thunderstone. So, you'll need two for a Raichu with Voltage.
In case you've forgotten...
Voltage = Motor Drive + Static
In other words, neat.

I know, that's why I want it. 
I'm not too worried about evolving her straight to Raichu at the moment; since she can't learn any attacks after she evolves with the stone, I'll have to work out her moveset for a while first so she can learn some good attacks.

Well I am back. Havn't checked the rpg yet, and am going to soon. Hope that I am not lost.
Edit : Yep think I am lost. Ok Eevee has morphed (which is good), that much I have got. Not sure what the group is doing (sorry). Somebody want to give me the cliff notes version?

Just for personal entertainment, and something to take my mind off things, I've come up with a very unusal pokemon. Don't have any move sets yet(except base), or anything, and in a bit you will see why. It's evolution is different from any other pokemon. Also it is unable to learn any HM or TM at all.
Deevee (temporary name until somebody suggests a better one )
Type : Normal
At first thought to be just a normal eevee, it is the offspring of a Eevee and a Ditto. It is grey in color.
Moves
Mimic
Restore (cures all status ailments)
Rejuvenate (heals all hp)
Bite
It does not evolve with stones unlike it's eevee parent, but takes after its ditto parent a bit more. Whenever it's happiness meter is full, the next creature it defeats type is what it becomes. So if it defeats a water type, it evolves into a water type. Evolution may be stopped per normal, and you can wait for till you get to fight the type you wish Deevee to evolve into. All types are possible with this Pokemon, as long as you can find and defeat a creature of the right type (including ghost type). It can be dual type if it defeats a dual type pokemon also.
Edit : Once it evolves once, it can not change types again however.
