The only thing I wonder is how the heck they got so fast. 39 speed? That is insane lol. This one is in the bag for Mina.
Lol hindsight is 20/20 should have not worried about Onix and rocktombed Poly. Then if she switched out it would have hurt Hound bad, if she didn't she wouldn't be able to. *shrugs* should have also kept Ghastly in. Some ameature mistakes I will now pay for.

I was wondering why you switched. But don't feel too bad, before that second Mean Look you were doing great. I expected (and planned for) a full-out attack right from the start; that Torment really caught me off-balance.
I also had something like three real-life weeks to do nothing but plan while you and Alkar finished your match. o.o
On Poliwag's speed: every other stat kinda sucks. I'm serious, Poliwag's base stats are highest in Speed (90), second highest in Attack (50), and then clear 40's across the board.

Well this was my plan. Either you are going to have to waste a turn using Rainy Day, or have your effectiveness cut .

Ah, but it's not wasted. While Poliwag and Growlithe fight for battlefield control, Houndour chips away at your two.

@Kareeah: Why don't you whip up the move lists for B-E-T-A's other Pokémon?
Surprise me.
(Seriously, I'd rather not do it myself because we're in the middle of a battle and there could be bias. And, unfortunately, don't have the move data for the other anymore because I had to reformat a while back...)

I was having trouble accessing it too.
Wish is a two-turn Heal move (Pokemon makes a wish the first turn--second turn whoever's in their spot gets half their health back).
Assist randomly uses an attack known by any Pokemon in the party--so you could end up using False Swipe with Skitty via Assist, for example. I've never used it before, myself, so I don't know if Skitty can access its OWN moves with Assist, but it seemed kinda cool and potentially useful...

The flamewheel was done with the sunny day in effect I believe..and it still did so little? Charcoal, flashfire, and sunny day and does so little damage? Well regardless this is over. If I do anything but attack it's over, if I attack it's over. Gratz

Yeah but...
1.) Rain Dance took effect before you attacked, so not only are you not getting double damage, you're actually getting half damage.
2.) Flash Fire IIRC only works if you get hit by a Fire-type attack first, so if Houndour had used Ember on Growlithe you'd have gotten a boost, but he hasn't.
3.) Poliwag's a Water type and therefore resistant to Fire-type attacks in any case.
4.) Charcoal...charcoal should still work.
And thanks. I'll go kick that champion's hiney for you, assuming B-E-T-A/Christian doesn't beat me to it.

I checked Bulbapedia and it says Substitute can be Baton Passed, so my guess is that it won't be passed normally. (May want to get winter to confirm, though.) If your goal is to get Surskit out without giving him a free attack, I think you can do that anyway since his Munchlax fainted.
EDIT: Inventory time.
