Yes you can...just not yet. The town's pond has no Pokémon in it (don't ask what the fisherman was doing  )
I think I'm almost ready to move on in the RPG.

how will we evolve certain pokemon?
they require you to be in specific places
(claceon,leafeon,magnezone,probopass)

Magnezone and Probopass are easy. 
They evolve based on special magnetic fields...according to the D/P Pokédex.
The tricky ones are Glaceon and Leafeon. I'm sure I'll figure out something before it comes to that.
Of course, I could always allow a Leaf Stone evolution for Leafeon and create an Ice Stone for Glaceon...or perhaps a Water Stone used on Eevee while it's equipped with an item that's icy...hmm...I have to think about this.
EDIT: Ok...happiness evolutions.
Right now, Kareeah's character has a Pokémon that evolves based on the Happiness rating. Pichu starts with 70 Happiness and needs 220 to evolve.
Here's some of the ways you can increase a Pokémon's happiness:
+1 for each day that passes in the real world (as in, your Pichu will gain one happiness point each time the date rolls over in real life)
+1 for each day that passes in the RPG.
+1 for each "natural" item used on it (Berries)
-? for each "bitter natural" item used on it (Bitter Herb, Revival Herb, etc...)
+3 each time it is sent out to battle (they love to battle). Bonus applicable once per battle.
+1 for each mile (give or take a few inches ) traveled during your adventures.
+5 each time it levels up (it loves to level up )
-20 on fainting (so try to keep him from fainting, ok?)
+3 on learning a new move. (they love to learn)
+2 for each vitamin used on it.
+2 for each EV-reducing berry used on it (EV-reducing berries allow you to reallocate the bonus points you get each level, in case you didn't like a choice you made a while back.)
If you find a Soothe Bell and equip it to the Pokémon, the positive effects of Happiness boosting things are doubled.

Also for Pidgey…hmm…2 EVs into Attack, 1 into Speed.

Technically...except that I fast-forwarded time to 3PM.
So, right now, you made it back to the house, and everyone is there, except for Max, (TitaniumAlloy) who's a loner anyways.
Oh...and your Pichu gets 1 Happiness Point (date rolls over in 10 minutes )

A few minor questions. Can Misty learn to make pokefood? Along with being a trainer, she wants to learn to be a Pokemon Breeder (Like Brock). Specializing in Eevee (duh), but still able to take care of all types of pokemon. Also, when can we explore the other 'mystery' areas
