"Yeah, splitting up always ends great." Brona let out a short laugh. "The pokemon in this region and further toward the shrine will get pretty tough, I seriously doubt we could make them help us. The best thing we could do is get going at once."

"Maybe not, but if anything, I'd guess in last case instance, our own pokemons would probably be safe among these other pokemons, and still, maybe they won't help us, but should we at least not give it a shot? This way we might not need to divide at all"

We can barely manage to protect ourselves all together and he wants us to split up?
“Zack, we haven’t even seen a wild Pokemon since we got into these mountains,” she pointed out instead. “And we can’t split up, because even if the Starlight Squad knows we exist, odds are they don’t know what any of us look like except Brona, so we need him to vouch for us.”

Main Group:
The group sneaks off towards their goal, just as the Swift-signal starts to arch into the sky. Mina hastily adjusts the radio and holds it to her ear; the inter-squad Bandra messages are incomprehensible at first but eventually she’s able to make some sense of them. Between the radio and the multiple sets of eyes and ears seeking trouble, the group is able to dodge or hide from the handful of patrols they encounter.
At last they reach the road between Stardust City and the Shrine. Brona directs the others east, and Mina sends them under cover and along side-trails where possible. As a result, the group find themselves on a narrow ledge overlooking the road when they finally come into sight of the Shrine, just as dawn begins to lighten the area. ((It’s about 5:00 AM))
It’s an old, lengthy temple complex carved of pale stone, stretching off down the road out of sight. From the looks of things, there used to be a road around the outside, but it’s overgrown and currently barred by a heavy rockslide. Of more immediate concern, however, is the blockade.
Dozens of Grunts and several Taskmasters are spread across the road. They’ve set up bulwarks of rubble and stone, and scattered a field of sharp, pointed rocks around the entrance to the Shrine. It is here that the fighting is centered.
The entrance is small, with high walls to either side that might at one point have possessed a roof; the group can make out a few trainers not wearing the Bandra uniform that have made their stand there, where only a few Grunts can enter the fray at a time.

Mina surveyed the forces massed below before typing up a quick text. ~Same tactic as last time? Try to teleport past them?~

Stacey thought a bit, then sent a text.
~Well, we could, but it may be risky trying to get so many out, with the limits of teleporting so many out at a time. We could try and lure a few small groups of the Bandra away, in an attempt to improve the odds of us all getting out of there.~

Brona:
After a moment or two (during which one of the defending trainer’s Pokemon is knocked senseless by the attackers and hastily replaced), you receive a coded message that decodes to “I’ll let the door guards know you’re here. Which way are you coming in?”

“Just tell him we’re coming in from the northwest,” Mina suggested wearily. “Then let’s get moving; it’s getting light out and we aren’t going to be hidden for much longer. Are we Teleporting or are we going on foot?”

Mina mused on that muzzily. “Misty, if you have Dubba turn into Natu…no, make that Mr. Mime…we can probably get almost everybody. ((2+2+1 = 5 and we’ve got six in the group unless I mis-counted.)) You sure you can’t manage more than one person?”
This last was directed to the Psychic type still perched on her head. He responded with an unhappy sounding “Nat.”
“Mmm.” Mina puzzled over the problem a little more. Perhaps with everyone working together, if they focused on running rather than fighting, and with whatever assistance Brona’s Starlight Squad friends could provide, they could battle through the forces below on foot, but she doubted one person alone could manage the same feat regardless of who they left behind. They could try to make two trips, but there were several dozen Grunts down there; one of them was bound to notice their collective presence once the first five dropped into the Starlight Squad’s lap. She thought it would be doable, but very, very risky for the sixth person and the teleporting Pokemon who was sent back for them. She could think of one other possibility but she didn’t know enough about the Starlight Squad to know if it was feasible, so she decided to let her friends try to hash something else out before she suggested it. Hopefully they’d come up with something better and they wouldn’t have to rely on chance.

A thought struck Brona. "If we could get our pokemon inside, and possibly healed, those carrying the pokeballs could come out again and we could try attacking the grunts from two different directions. If those inside the ruins go for a frontal attack, we could attack from the rear without them even knowing we're here before it's too late."
