Mark did some quick math, then sighed and recalled his lapras. With nightshade and fakeout, there was no way that Jessia was going to be able to take out the remaining two pokemon, even if he got a lucky crit. Conceding to his opponent, Mark went to get his pokemon healed.

((Mark))
Having finished with all of his tournaments for the day, disappointing as it was, he swung over and picked up some food for himself and his pokemon before doing some end of the day training. With Sengar back under control, Mark would try to begin patching things back up with the dark type and make the fox a level stronger. At 10:00, Mark found his room and sketched for a bit, and then went to bed.
((With Mina))
Her opponent, not having many great moves to use in this matchup either, decided to have their Kirlia use Calm Mind in order to make the moves they had a bit more effective.

Mark:
You get a casual wave from a trainer you recognize after a moment as the opponent who had the Liskayo while you’re picking up food. ((Didn’t you have something you wanted to ask him?))
Afterwards, you find a secluded spot outside to train. Sengar takes to his training a little better now that he’s clear of Shadowing:
Pokemon: Umbreon (Sengar)
Type: Dark
Ability: Sleepless Moon
Gender: Male
Level: 29
Held Item: NONE
Stats--
HP: 103 +3
Attack: 51 +8
Def: 77 +2
Sp. Attack: 48 +3
Sp. Def: 89
Speed: 51 +8
Moves:
Moonlight
Helping Hand
Quick Attack
Sand Attack
Howl
Pursuit
Oddly, the Pokédex informs you he isn’t trying to learn a new move, even though a normal Umbreon would be getting Confuse Ray at this level. The Pokédex suggests this may be a side effect from his recent Shadowing. ((Note from the DM: you can still tutor him if you want something from the normal Umbreon level-up list, as long as he’s at the level to have learned it normally.))
On your way back to settle in for the night, you hear someone yelling angrily.
----------------
Mina:
Natu uses Nightshade!
Kirlia is hit for 29 damage!
Kirlia uses Calm Mind!
Kirlia’s Special Attack rises!
Kirlia’s Special Defense rises!
Natu: 71/71
Kirlia: 38/67 (Special Attack up 1 level, Special Defense up 1 level)
Reasonably pleased with the rounds results, although a little nervous about the buffing, Mina called for Nightshade again.
