Christian walked over to the Janitor and tapped him on the shoulders "Now, I know you might be busy, but if you could be so kind to send someone to clean up the mess in my room later I would be very grateful." Christian smiled and nodded "It is room [inset number or whatever they use to know the rooms]. Thank you good sir."

Brona frowned and sent out Gastly. "Hypnosis." he said, then added to himself. "I don't really know what to do with this one... Follow up with a nightshade, Gastly."

Christian:

The Janitor salutes with a “yes sir!”, hastily finishes his clean up job and leaves down the corridor, cleaning supplies in tow. All the little noises from the Grunts suddenly stop as they realize there’s an Officer in their midst, and the dice and card games grind to a halt; only the TV is left for background noise.

----------------

Brona:

The Nidoran (F) looks up as you approach and starts to growl, spines bristling nervously.

Gastly uses Hypnosis! ((Roll = 77))
Attack missed!

Nidoran (F) uses Growl!
Gastly’s Attack fell!

Gastly uses Nightshade!
Nidoran (F) is hit for 22 damage!

Nidoran (F) uses Poison Sting!
Gastly is hit for 2 damage!
It’s not very effective… ((No kidding! ))

Gastly: 53/55
Nidoran (F): 36/58

Zelgius swore bitterly under his breath, "There's no way I'm getting past them... Damn!" backing up into the mountains again, he looked inside his pack, noting the lack of food of any kind. "Well great! That's just so ******* great... Well what now?" He sat down an thought about it for a while. "Only one thing to do, I guess... If you can't beet e'm, join e'm... Until you can get the hell away at least. Wait... those two grunts know who I am... Well guys," he said to his conscious pokemon, "I guess that this means we tighten our belts for a while. We're going north. Far north. There's a little lake on this map that looks just lovely..."

Christian:

The silence gradually crumbles and the Grunts uncertainly return to their games.

----------------

Brona:

Your Gastly fires off another Nightshade. The Nidoran (F) tries to counterattack with Scratch; when that fails she turns tail and flees.

----------------

Zelgius:

((Already had you going north, but okay…))

With Bandra in the way, you’re forced to detour west some two miles through the mountains before cutting north again. Here you encounter an entire encampment, much larger and located in a shallow valley; based on the amount of movement the whole thing seems to be in the midst of packing up despite the scattered showers of rain. On the southern edge of the camp, a few miserable prisoners are huddled under guard: trainers, by the looks of them, though they’re dirty and ragged and minus their Pokeballs. There’s also a little more cover here around the perimeter, mostly in the form of rock formations and stubborn mountain shrubs.

----------------

Misty:

Evan does battle with the Grass type as the rain continues to fall.

Evan uses Tackle! ((Roll = 47))
Oddish is hit for 12 damage!

Oddish uses Acid! ((Roll = 68))
Evan is hit for 9 damage!

Evan loses 9 HP due to Poison!

Evan uses Tackle! ((Roll = 1))
Oddish is hit for 12 damage! ((Looks familiar…))

Oddish uses Stun Spore!
But it fails!

Evan loses 9 HP due to Poison!

Evan uses Tackle! ((Roll = 29))
Oddish is hit for 12 damage! ((Lol. ))

Oddish uses Absorb!
Evan is hit for 6 damage!
Oddish absorbs 3 HP from Evan!

Evan loses 9 HP due to Poison!

Misty curses at the absorb...sooo close.  She couldn't risk using the umbreon's tackle again at the moment, it would make the pokemon faint..and that would be no good. She seriously doubted the oddish would be able to be captured right now, but she had to try.  She tossed a pokeball at it and prayed.  If not, she would have to use moonlight, and stall until she could use tackle again.

Zelgius looked at the camp and all the prisoners huddled raggedly together. Fortunately, he had the elevation on Bandra and he could just sneak around them this time... But all those people...

Zelgius looked around for anything that could start some sort of rock slide to at least hurt the Bandra agents, but spare as many prisoners as possible. Maybe if I distract them enough, I'll be able to steal a little bit of food, and rescue one or two of those people...

With her new piece of information Sarah started to head towards the Gym. She was going to find out what types they were using, hopefully it would be something that her Pokemons were strong against.
But no matter what they were using over there, she would probably need to train her fighters at least some levels, but time would have to tell.

You throw a Pokeball! ((Roll = 57))

The Grass type is engulfed by the ball. It shakes once…twice…thrice…

DING!

Oddish was caught!

Pokemon: Oddish
Type: Grass/Poison
Ability: Chlorophyll
Gender: Female
Level: 19
Held Item: None
Stats—
HP: 51
Attack: 29
Def: 31
Sp. Attack: 39
Sp. Def: 35
Speed: 22

Moves:
Absorb
Sweet Scent
Acid
Poison Powder
Stun Spore
Sleep Powder

Do you want to give a nickname to Oddish?

((And as with Stacey, she goes off to Box Storage since you already have six in your party.))

----------------

Zelgius:

You survey the camp as best you can from your position. There are three rock shelves that look like they might be fragile enough to break, given proper incentive, though none are optimally placed for your purposes.

There are likewise three tents to the encampment, one larger than the others, and Grunts go in and out of these frequently, packing up pots and pans and other supplies. After a few minutes watching, you count 9 Grunts in total in the camp, two of whom are guarding the prisoners ((of which there are four)), plus another individual (rank unknown) in the largest tent whose presence is only discernable by the fact that he’s talking to someone as he never comes out. The smoking remains of two campfires gutter near the entrances to the smaller tents, left to go out on their own in the rain.

((Map:

Purple squares -> tents
Red and yellow shapes -> campfires
Lighter gray patches -> rock shelves))

----------------

Brona:

Nearly an hour of searching passes before you encounter another wild Pokemon. This time you realize it’s there long before you actually see it, as the stink is almost painful. Finally you run across the source; a Stunky meandering through the grass and brush.

Stunky: 56/56

----------------

Sarah:

You go to the Gym; the interior is mostly rocky with interspersed greenery. People who couldn’t find places to sleep at the Center are still settling down, and from them you are able to get some information on the Gym Leader.

((DOH!)) Edit: Misty says .. "Evan Moonlight!" and then hurriedly takes the pokemon to the center.

Misty is going to first mix up some berries to feed the Feebas.  She needs a more useful water type.  Keeping ONE berry (just in case she needs to plant it somewhere) she is going to mix berries one by one and feed it to the Feebas, and prey it won't get tired of them before beauty is maxed out.

Misty:

You take your Pokemon to the Center and get them healed. With that taken care of, you begin to mix Poffin.

((Result of mix one: +25 to Beauty, +24 to Feel))

You then feed the Poffin to Phoebe and observe the result.

Contest Stats—
Cool: 0
Beauty: 96+(25*2 due to Beauty Pin) = 146
Cute: 0
Smart: 0
Tough: 0
Feel: 48+24 = 72

Phoebe seems happy with the treat, so you mix more.

((Result of mix two: +23 to Beauty, +24 to Feel))

Contest Stats—
Cool: 0
Beauty: 146 + (23*2) = 192
Cute: 0
Smart: 0
Tough: 0
Feel: 72+24 = 96

((Result of mix three: +21 to Beauty, +24 to Feel))

Contest Stats—
Cool: 0
Beauty: 192+(21*2) = 234
Cute: 0
Smart: 0
Tough: 0
Feel: 96+24 = 120

By now her scales have gained a beautiful gleam—they’re still brown and battered but the Poffin is obviously having an effect.

((Result of mix four: +19 to Beauty, +24 to Feel))

Contest Stats—
Cool: 0
Beauty: 234+(19*2) = MAX
Cute: 0
Smart: 0
Tough: 0
Feel: 120+24 = 144

You feed her one more Poffin, and the gleam becomes even more pronounced. Phoebe begins to give off a soft, feeble glow that wavers in and out of existence—it seems she’s ready to evolve. ((Finally! ))

----------------

Draloed:

You explore the bottom layer of the tower, discovering a Potion and a trio of Tiny Mushrooms, grown since your encounter with Kreiznrak. You gather your spoils thus far and ascend to the next floor:

Here the area is a little more enclosed, and the atmosphere has more of an eerie quality to it—and this in spite of the sounds of the town Elder in the westernmost chamber doing…something that involves a great deal of clicking and grumpy muttering. A short hallway bends off to the east; at both ends there is a window, in front of which sits a small pedestal bearing an oil-filled bowl with a wick floating in it. ((The yellow circles on the map.)) The oil lamp nearest the stairs is lit; it gives off a pleasant scent but otherwise seems to have no purpose…then a strong storm gust rattles the nearby window and the temperature seems to drop with purely spiritual chill, which lessens once the flame has stopped flickering.

Misty is now going to be busy (and probably exhusted) for the next little while.  She will look to see if she can find one of the others to offer to help them train (for about half an hour, if she doesn't find anybody by then she will train solo).  She is going to level her oddish 2 levels, and her Feebas one..for now.

If she hasn't found anybody by the 30 minutes..she will text everybody that is still traveling with her "Will be outside of gym doing some training..if anybody wants to join."

The battle:

"Well done, Snorlax! Now, rest well."

Stacey recalls Snorlax, and walks over to the broken pokeball. She picks it up, and searches through her bag to place it with the other. Afterward, Mona and Stacey start in their process of catching back up with the squad. This had taken longer than she had thought.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The town, the ruins, the Ignis:

Stacey watched the man go on about these things he had found. Some of it looked...moderately interesting. Most of it all, however, not so much. Midway through, she let out a yawn. Ignis was so into his session of show and tell that he didn't notice. She looked over to Mona, who was watching the man and his things too. Mona seemed to be entertained for the moment. Though, it may have just been entertaining to see the situation her trainer had gotten herself into.

Stacey waits a while,(for the end of your bit about Ignis talking) then start talking herself.

"Great stuff. Glad to have helped you in getting to it. Do you mind if Mona and I stick around for a little? Maybe train in one of the rooms you've already checked out?"

((Assuming so, and unsure of what time it is now, Grimer and Slugma +1 level each, and Mona +2 levels))
