Slight Naruto Spoiler Warning
@Del_Diablo: Ah yes, I just read that Naruto chapter. Guess all my theories crashed huh...?
How many powers can this goddamn Sharingan have? I'm sure the Sharingan has like, 5 levels after Mangekyu too that they conviently forgot to mention...
I'm also pretty pissed that Madara turned ultra-boring once he dropped the Tobi disguise, he was my favourite character back then

ok, a long time coming
Bixie reviews: Higurashi- I can never look at japanese girls again!
Higurashi is a difficult manga to categorise. whilst the artwork is most definately shounen, the contents is most definately not. It has a subtle undercurrent of relationship stuff that could make it shoujo, but most of them end the same way and badly, so that scratches that out.
the essential story of Higurashi is that there is a little village of Hinamizuwa where there are six/seven central characters, who are all involved in a murder mystery in some way shape or form, and most of them end up dead by the end of it. each arc repeats the events from a different point of view and a different story about it, so what you are getting is alot of dead bodies and fun ways to die.
the Characters are fairly standard, Keiichi is the male lead, sensibly, tries to be liked, likeable kind of guy. Rena is the over acting girl who things that everything is cute. Mion and Shion are the identical twin sisters with big knockers who are the grown ups (on deviantart, what has been seen cannot be unseen!). Satako and Rika are the two cute little girls who have the bad stuff happen to them, with Rika occasionaly providing the word of god (remember, the bible speaks volumes about what god said, but what he was saying was "Nipah").
it all is fine, cutesy and fun, which might cause alot of people to right this off as a fairly bog standard anime/manga... DON'T!!!! when the brown stuff hits the whirly thing then it gets crazy, providing stuff that is so brutal that it made me flinch (I laugh at saw!). this stuff is hard core, man, and It is so fun to see in action. all the characters, at one stage or another, go absolutely crazy, doing all sorts of things to each other, in a normal neighbourhood that you might want to live in!
Watch it, or read it. subs are better, but the people who do the dubs are pretty damn good, it certainly was fun. Watch it as it is mad as all hell.

Nice, just in time for me to re-read the manga so I don't get all confused
Nice to hear that Miura is actually drawing some instead of just playing ecchi-games. Perhaps there is still hope for this manga to be finished before he dies.

Whoa, I think I've found an anime where I like the english voiceactors better than the japanese ones
The guy who does Dante in the Devil May Cry anime sounds EXACTLY like Dante in DMC4, I'm not sure if it's the same guy but I think so.
I'm watching the first episode now, better than I expected actually.
EDIT: Confirmed, it's the same guy who does the voice, yay.

I have a question about One Piece, namely about Luffy, that maybe someone here can answer. If I recall correctly he was referred to as a Paramecia type. That always puzzled me, because I always took for Logia type, after all his whole body is made of one specific substance - rubber. So why is he Paramecia?

About Logia:
Logia is a type of Devil Fruit. It is commonly characterized by giving its user the ability to turn into a natural element.
With these fruits, the user may actually become a natural element, as well as generate and manipulate it. They are neither completely human nor element in their default state. Logia users can turn completely into their element if they want to. This is often used for crossing great distances fast, or avoiding blows should their weakness be discovered.
About Paramecia
Paramecia is the name given to a type of Devil Fruit. These fruits give the users a "super-human" power which can affect their body or ability to manipulate the environment.
With these fruits, the user may actually become a natural element, as well as generate and manipulate it. They are neither completely human nor element in their default state. Logia users can turn completely into their element if they want to. This is often used for crossing great distances fast, or avoiding blows should their weakness be discovered.
Here's a site I found very informative. Of course containing spoilers if you haven't read or seen the entire manga/anime yet.

What? The anime? Thought I said that in your quote actually. The Devil May Cry anime.
Or are you asking about the voice actor? In that case it's Reuben Langdon, under the alias of Justin Cause.

No problem man.
The DMC anime is beginning to feel kinda average now... instead of having a continuous storyline they instead have seperate stories called "Missions", 1 for each episode.
Thing is it's kinda hard to fit in a unique story on 30 minutes... Just look at DBZ, just powering up a technique can take 20 minutes haha
In the end, it all feels too hastened, everything should just be longer, especially the battles.

ok, a new review
Hetalia- World war 2 has never looked so funny.
only in japan could they take somethinng so horrific and diasterous as World war 2, and make light of it in such a brilliant way. Hetalia details the various exploits of the axis forces of germany, japan and, of course, Italy, as three young men who really have no clue what they are doing, whilst being set uppon by the allied powers of britian, america, russia, france and china. other countries intervene on occasions, but they are ultimately bit characters.
what I love about this anime is that it makes light of both these countries and of the general conflict. there is an air of joy and energy to each episode (which is only about 5 minutes long) which makes it hard not to feel at least happy for the various stereotypes portrayed...
I am not joking when it comes to the stereotypes. Germany is an uptight, rigid, cold and socially inept man with a loud voice, Japan is a quiet and studious tinkerer who always aims to please, and Italy is a drunken, womanizing boy who goes around half the episodes in a daze on the prowl for food. America is a kid with big ideas but ultimately fall flat, China is old and wise, but extremely child-like, France is a gentlemanly lecher who disagrees withe everyone, russia is a bipolar nutcase who one minute is friendly, the next psychotic, and britian couldn't be more british if his english voice actor was James May!
all the episodes contain short skits that only last for a minute, and are hilarious to watch. I well advise you watch this, although it's hard to find on 'Tube, but it's fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun fun!
