Thoughts on Map Objects?
We've got things like cartographers and faery gardens, which are good, but we need new, exciting stuff.
Come on people, let's think outside the TARDIS and see what you can come up with!
Whoever creates the best thing gets a peanut (I will organize)

*Garrison Towers (as well as gates).
*Universal creature silos (you choose creatures and reward).
*More choices with available items (ie, you choose numbering for monoliths so 1 goes to 2, 2 to 3, and so on, or can have two Huts of Magi showing different eyes).
*Skill Scrolls (like Magic Scrolls), can be written as permanent at new building.

What would be the purpose of the garrison towers? Garrisons right now only serve for something because they are at choke points.
@Oscarius: Bringing back some of the objects from Heroes IV would be nice

One off guard points for multiple creature types (adds spice).

Well I have one big idea for a building; it's called the Fusion Pit. The general idea is that various kinds if creatures can be placed inside and if they can be fused together you have to wait several days (depending on their power) to get a result, the monsters that are put into it have become one! This should be scriptable in H5 too although we'll have to add those fusions as new creatures. Some fusion ideas (I'll take H5 creatures for the example):
Skeleton + Squire = Black Guard (From DM)
Paladin + Death Knight = Fallen Knight
Archangel + Paladin = Elrath's Deputy
Seraph + Champion = Urgash's Sentinal
Arcane Archer + Crossbowman = Sharpshooter
Paokai + Bone Dragon = Death Avatar (The one Arantir summons in DM)
All Dragons = Chaos Emperor (One huge dragon with the most powerful abilities of the Dragons)
Well we must be able to think of much more, what are your opinions?

Buildings I don't know about (although I suppose Den of Thieves might work), but this could do well for some treasures (Pandora's Box [if you don't know what it is, see HoMM3] kind of thing).
I've also considered mines where you can set the production in map editor, or even have exhaustible mines (disabled normally). Resource Silos (like resource piles, but with multiple resources), might also work.

I would really want to see Adventure caves back! They are like mini games or many quests in one spot. Love the ones from H2 and H3 WOG When entering and after each message you get three (or could be more) options on what to do, depending on the situation.
"You carefully enter the dark cavern ahead, with your army behind you and ice in you gut you force yourself to explore the deep tunnels ahead. You travel for some time and suddenly two separate tunnels appears ahead of you"
Which tunnel do you want to explore further?
Left tunnel Right tunnel
Get out of the cave
Got it?
Also this shouldnt be limited to caves, but there could also be Adventure forest, for some diversity in object look and maybe some other changes, like instead of tunnels, there would be paths. And creatures unique (which creatures that seems natural for either Forest or Cave, some oculd be natural for both) for each of them could be:
Treants etc only for Adventure Forest.
Fire Dragons etc only in Adventure Caves.
The more you explore, the more dangerous will the opposition be and also the reward will be bigger. You could of course choose to get out if the opposition gets too tought, but then you will let the reward stay in favors for other players or until you are strong enough to take the challenge, though dont expect that there will be anything there if you return.
There could be like 10-25 customizable events in each of these adventure map objects.
Rewards could be like...creatures you find and rescue, resources, piles of gold, experience, artifacts. Random mix of those of course or even only one kind, depending on what you choosed to have in the Map Editor. Also you could choose to let all kinds of creatures random appear in the caves or forests if you like say, check all the boxes for the creatures in ME. But there should be a minimum of 1 or 2 kinds of creatures in each location, maybe a maximum of like 15.

The cave of Polimorphs O_O
You enter the cave and then unites from your army are changed in random creatures forever
Peanut garden
Your hero gains The Secret-Sacred Peanut Incantation with which he can make creatures of your enemy laugh (they loose all their initiative and can die of laugh. If they survive- they get all the stats penalty but +3 morale bonus)
