actually booboo, even though some games may look childish, there are some very great games out there, not only on the wii. take an mmorpg fiestaonline for example, stupid name, anime style. but the game is very great. take super mario galaxy, really childish mario and other charectors this time, but a very great and addicting game.

I agree with you completly here. There are so many games out there, not only on the wii, but all gaming platforms that look childish but are infact very fun.
I believe I may have used this example in a previous post, but I'll say it again. Take the Wario Ware game for the wii as an example. It's very childish looking in every way possible and the whole game consists completly of random mini-games. But you have no idea how fun it is until you've played it with 6 or more people (the game can be played in turns so more than 4 can play).
I'm just saying, you shouldnt assume that every wii game is childish, just like people shouldnt assume that all ps3 games are 100% mature and violent.

i'm just saying, that most older teens are all about violence they just don't understand what the fun of playing any game is

I understand what you're saying dude. It's not all about childish games and stop being so naive. It's a about the cool childish games vs. the stupid childish ones.
I know there are a great deal of cool games with childish looks/storyline etc (see: Monkey Island,Grim Fandango,Super Mario Bros.and Zelda - the NES and SNES ones, and a whole lot more)
And it's not about violence with the older teens or ppl in general. I for one loathe the GTA series. I tend to go more over feeling. If a games delivers in the feeling area, it doesn't matter if it's gory or childish. In my humble opinion, a game should make you forget the ordinary,boring and messy world we live in. It should entertain, create a new world for the player and so on. Wii games do that, and are a nice amount of fun, BUT that amount of games follow the same patterns and give little diversity to the gamer. There are more things to say but there is not much time on my hands so that'll be it for today.
I don't want any of you to think my posts are offenisve.

I agree that the art style doesn't matter.
Look at adult shows. some are cartoons.

Simpsons is a family show and family guy is a teen show indeed.
I meant shows on adult swim. although some on adult swim are teen shows.
