Except AoE with it's annoying ship limit.
And Halo because it lead into Halo 3.

While I understand Daystar's objection to some games, there is something to consider about games. If we took away every game that could be offensive then there would be nothing left.
Even Heroes of Might and magic would not be safe. After all it portrays a red skinned race as 'evil' and malicious. Many could take that as a reference to American Indians. That could open up a whole can of worms. I believed games should be played because you enjoy them, and not be read too much into. Sometimes a game is just a game.
Please note : I am mostly American Indian. This is just an example, and how some people COULD percieve it

Nuts to it. I'm going to say it.
Final Fantasy 7.
There. I said it. I get so sick of everybody thinking it's the greatest game of all time. I'm convinced the only reason people think it's so great is because it was there first exposure to a JRpg with fancy graphics.
First off, the single most overrated thing about the game: the characters. The two most memorable characters in the game, are also the most effeminate losers who compensate for their inadequacies by carrying around ridculously large swords. That's right. The archenemies Cloud and Sephiroth. On one hand, you have girly man who was used and now wants to destroy the planet because he's the offsrping of some malevolent force and is upset at how she was treated. That's it? That's your motivation? There are many, many betters villains out there than him, such as the Transcedent One, Irenicus, Id, or evern Kefka, but people still flock to their favorite effeminite swordsman. And what about the young protagonist Cloud? If the word "emo" had been around back then, it would have perfectly fit Cloud. All he does is brood. I'm surprised he didn't use that unnecessairly large sword to cut himself. It gets old really, really fast. "No Sephiroth. Stop it!" Wow, what a witty exchange! He's just like Sephiroth, but with more teenage agnst holding him down. Hell, only Vincent comes close to the sheer "emoness" of Cloud. Don't get me wrong. I like Vincient, but damn, take some freakin' prozac or something. And we can't forget Yuffie. Oh wait, we can. She just added so much depth and richness to the story! Please find me a more useless character in a RPG. As to the others, I've got no gripe with them.
Secondly, gotta love the incredibly stupid item mechanic. Take the Phoneix Down for example. I'm sure many of you know exactly where this is going and have most likely contemplated how incredibly stupid the heroes are. Killed by a supernova? We can bring you back! Perforrated? Nope, sorry; can't figure out to use the damn item. Sucks to be you! Why the Hell can someone be blown into oblivion by a Green Sea Robot and be simply brought back to life with a tiny trinket, but someone stabbed with a simple sword can not? What the Hell? Sure it was a memorable moment, but it certainly was a stupid event.
There are other gripes I have about the game, but really, I do think it's a fine game. I loved the music, the graphics were great for the time, and it was an amazing experience. Hell, I've probably beatent the game more than most people on the forum. But I certainly think the game is vey overrated and would not mind it being unmade.

i've played a lot of games from time to time, and i have to say its..... Disney's Dinosaur: The Videogame, dude, if you thought the movie was bad, this makes you cry, i spent £15 on this when it came out cause i was small, i was so young
i'd also go for games like FIFA 08, PES 08 and SVR 08, simply because they are released EVERY year, on a ONE year time scale, wouldn't be bad if it was two though
i'd also say Killzone 1, despite the fact Killzone 2 will rock hard, this original sucked b***s, if you've ever played it, you know how badly it failed, its SO repetitive, and SO annoying that ONE guy you meet every 5 minutes has a BIG gun that can kill you in 2 SHOTS, he never runs out of ammount, and the range is as far as you can see

they recently announced they would make it, i rather like the sims, it was great and with a good graphics card looks awesome, and expansions arn't bad, H5 had two

Well that's just your opinion Omega  You could rename lot of things what are out dated and done better in future games but that doesn't change the fact that VII is a classic!
I don't say that the game should have more recognition as it already has. I have liked all FF games what i have played, good stories and good charters and also some bad ones.. (Gau, Setzer, Yuffie, Caith Sith, Selphie *The End is alright but lame*, Eiko, Tidus, Rikku and Penelo. Alright maby even more but i never liked them
Overrated? Maybe but still not the game you should bash.. in my book that is
