Noone said we did... I didnt know you needed a rule to have Honor and for your word to mean something. Keep in mind the title of this thread. I was the fool for trusting teachers words.
But apparently even if we had made the rule, he wouldnt have had to stick to it.. I imagine he prolly woulda used Divine agaisnt me to if it was only way he coulda won.
Teacher has spoken... he is proud of his actions and sees nothing wrong with them. He had his stolen points and clan war win. I hope they were all worth it. Time to move on tho... even tho bridge will more the likely remain burned.

hi Sq, long time no see ... I won't be coming back any time soon, even though it's tempting, but I just don't have the time.
Jinxer, as I said, I beleive breaking word, rules and what-so-ever is wrong.
Anyway, I am curios how did you manage to lose the game, with that huge troop advantage(& some hero advantage too)... I think you could have easily won it even with his hitting & running, if you were more carefull... There are spells (Curse of Netherworlds, Armageddon, Meteor Shower, Chain Lightning) that you could have aimed for(and I don't mean from the beggining of the game, I mean from the moment he started hitting and running), and would have won the game for you, not to mention that your casters have fire-wall/ fire-ball, that could really hurt him plenty if you split them... What I am saying is, I am amazed that you tried none of these.

Apparently you arent familiar with Swift Mind... Staff.. and how hit and run works. When we engage in battle His hero and all 7 stacks of invisible stalkers get to go first EVERY time he hit and run attacked me. He cast EMPOWERED Meteor shower on me then left. So even if I had all the weapons you mentioned... you gotta have a chance to use them  Thats the whole point of Hit and run hitting and running before opponent can have equal chance to retaliate... and if as teacher said if I would have wnet the short route, I woulda still won easily.. BUT BUT cant stress enough... in my mind hit and run was not an option... otherwise I woulda taken short route.. or to be more specific..if I thought he was gonna hit and run me I woulda taken the free shackles and then anything after the point of first battle wouldnt have mattered.

What I don't get is this:
If the short route would have won you the game easily if you would have known he uses Hit & Run, wouldn't this short route have won you the game even if he wouldn't have used Hit & Run?
What's the reason in lengthen a game which could have been won earlier?

Well I was concerned about the fact that he has -4 morale artifacts... and I didnt want some stupid crazy miracle thing to happen where I sat in what I thought would be a 2nd and final battle not moving do to bad morale and bad morale while he metoered me to death... So I wanted to hit the morale uppers just to make absolute sure... And again hit and run was not even a consideration...
There is no need to continue on with this post... most of the new people posting now, obviously havent read ALL of the previous posts with all the details.. There really isnt much to this..
You guys keep asking why didnt I take this.. or why didnt I take that???? BECAUSE he IMPLIED HE WOULDNT use hit and RUN! So I didnt take ANYTHING during game that would be needed to help counter it.. Thats the entire POINT to what I am complaining about! IF he hadnt implied such lies... I would have obviously taken the Free shackles that are preset on map... Everything else is a moot point. The moment he started to hit and run me... I had already commited to the long path to his town...

So if when you're riding the bus, minding your own business, and a total stranger walks up to you and says "hey, i'll hold on to your wallet until you get off, maybe it's too heavy for you", you'd fall for that as well ? 
Seriously now, in-game chat should be about pleasantries, weather, women, cars, but definitely NOT about deciding on how to play the game once you see your alignment. "Oh, would you mind not taking ignite, it will seriously damage my troops and make me take 2-3 skills I really dislike."
I see it as an insult from your part and a proof of laziness, let me check if he doesn't hit and run, maybe that'll save me from getting the skills, creatures, artifacts against that particular tactic and/or alignment so I can have a smooth, lazy game.
As the others have said, it's your own fault for not picking up the weapons and fighting, much like a gladiator in the arena, he's provided with an axe, a sword, a shield, but he decides he's not gonna use any cause he heard a rumor that the lion he will be facing is very old, blind and on top of that a vegetarian, so he decides kicking it to death is a good alternative !
And the 15k is not merely 6 dragons, cause you didn't take it after you fought. 15k can decide a game, can make you break 1 week earlier, gives you 6 mentor visits, buys you 3 skills from the huts, etc. So, very much like banking, that's an investment that can be worth twice, thrice or even more.

Just to be fair... he didn't ask for the "no hit&run" Teacher said he wouldn't. That's all there is to it no? I don't see how there is room for THAT much interpretation as there currently is going on.

Valky you can try and protect your brother and put any spin you want on it. But what he did was Disgraceful not brilliant!
And since we are using stories to put the spin on this... let me use a more ACCURATE story to depict the events... Since your story used a perfect stranger to hand my wallet to... Ofcourse I wouldnt let a perfect stranger hold my wallet, but a buddy that I know and trust... not a probelm....
So lets assume I am on the subway and have no pockets and I am holding my wallet... and my contact falls out... and I say to My Friend that is standing next to me. " Crap I must find my contact.. but I am CONCERNED that if I lay my wallet down in this busy subway while I use both hands to search for my contact.. that someone will steal it.. and it has all my money that I need to feed my kids!! -- And my Friend that I trust speaks up and says... why dont you let me hold it for you? And I reply... hmmm you sure you wont steal my money? Most people would... And my friend seems offended that I would even think such things about his character... and says I dont steal... So since he is a Friend and I trust his word that he doesnt steal.. I hand my wallet over to him and start looking for my contact.. never once thinking to keep my eye on him... I mean after all... he said he doesnt steal.. no need to keep looking back and watching him... after many many mins of searching for contact I find it and when he hands my wallet back... I BLINDLY stick it in my pocket without looking in it... I mean... Why would I need to look in it.. I trust him at his words... When I get to the grocery store and have a full cart full of food to feed my kids.. I open my wallet and it is EMPTY!!! I look at my buddy in disbelief! I thought you said you didnt steal??? I dont understand?! He replys that he needed the money also and had to take the oppurtunity!
--- Now a perfect stranger I would never hand my wallet... i.e. in a game if I played someone I never knew... and he says I dont hit and run... I ofcourse dont just blindly believe that etc etc... but when someone that has been a veteran player that I previously trusted and respected, stoops to those low levels to obtain the win! Well is just sad.. And nothing Admirable about it at all.
I have played in TOH for 10 years. And have always liked the HONOUR foundation that the tournament stood for.. but when I see players of teachers status... pulling tricks like this just in the name of a win? And then claiming it was part of strategy and was my fault for falling for it? Shame on me for trusting a respected player.
I dont care if I lose 50 straight games in a row... and if my clan loses 10 clan wars in a row... I much rather win with my integrity and honor intact. If I cant beat my opponent on the field without trying lie decieve etc then I dont deserve to win.
As Vesuvius has stated so many times......

Hiya Guys,
It may sound foolish to all of you, but the guys I play regularly and I do a few things which has made gaming the most fun. We chat on Skype, we play with an eye towards one final fight, we do not worry about the other guy ( we just try to do the best we can and hope it is good enough to win), and we truly enjoy when the other guy has something really neat to hit us with in final battle. We laugh like maniacs, we have a lot of fun, and we enjoy surprising each other. You all should try it--finding the shiny stuff is not only fun, but it lets your inner-Bass out.

jinxer, stop wasting so much energy on a thing that is completelly imaginary. choose how to repeat myself : quoting from my last post or trying to use some other words maybe ill make myself better understood for u especially and for other the less? i dont care too much about ppl whos talking without knowing the facts just because they havent been there.
when game started, first day, I PROMISED U I WONT USE STALKERS TACTIC, AND, ABOUT HIT AND RUN, I SPECIFIED THAT I HATE DUNGEON FOR BEING A WEAK RACE THAT SOMETIMES, FORCES PLAYER INTO USING THIS HIT AND RUN TO BALANCE A BIT THE FORCES. NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS.
it was just a comment around the subject, if u interpretated like this its your business, your vison, i know exaclty how i said it cause im weigthen every word, even if it doesnt look like it, i never recall, and im sure about all that happens, that i made ANY promise, rule, whatever, regarding the fact that our first battle will decide the game.
i said i wont comment in that thread ever again, but it seems ppl are more concerned to make speculations than playing, ive been, somehow, "forced" to add few lines, make it clear , once again, those neglectable issues, in fact.
jinxer, for the last time im adressing to u, my honor is intact, stop making accusations just because u imagine something and put words in my mouth.
ppl that turns down my shaking hand , when , actually, they were to blame for heavy words based on NOTHING, and not even after few days didnt come in their senses, start to count less and less for me.
last intervention on this nocive thread u started.
better play the game and, either u win or lose, learn to handle both situations.

I am good with letting this post end... you are entitled to your opinion.. And yes you offered me a shaken hand and offered to not report the game, but SOMEONE had to report.. and as I seen it you didnt deserve to be offered a draw when you was beaten in the game. Why shoulda i let you off the hook and call it a draw when you deserved the loss.. and again someone had to report...and IF you had acknowledged the fact that there WAS a chance that there was a misunderstanding from BOTH of our words.. then I woulda have accepted your offer for a Draw and redo the game. But you only proclaim your brilliance. Never once did you consider that your poor english may have mispoke your hit and run intentions...
what you MEANT and what you ACTUALLY SAID are 2 completely differnt things.
If you was capable of understanding that you COULD have also misunderstood what you meant to say, and if there was a way to erase the records of the horrible game expereince so it didnt exsist then I could move past it and forgive and forget... but from the beginning you refuse to acknowledge the possibility so seems to be a moot point.

I read between the lines that both of you have finally understood each other's perspective. It was a MISUNDERSTANDING - both believed differenty in what was actually said. Basta! Nothing more to discuss
It's turning into a soap opera. I woudn't be surprised if after a while Teacher would turn out to be Jinxer father's illegitimate son to his own sister who now wants to marry Jinxer's daugther unknowingly...obviously, in background Hose Ignasio who is illicitly related to Valky, is courting Izaura who is Teacher's mother...
More importantly - I also read between the lines that there actually might be the bridge renovation attempt...If both MATURE and honorable veterans agree, perhaps Ves can cancel this game and appoint a rematch (or other ppl from their clan can do it)
P.s. I completely understand Jinx's emotions - of course, he would take schackles. I completely understand Teacher's emotions - of course, he got offended by emotional outburst. But those are just good news - we are still people not robots, despite microchips that Bill has implanted in our brain

Wise words Strider! Lets hope they dont fall on deaf ears now.....
I dont care if I lose.. But I want to lose because I was Beaten! From the beginning that was my biggest beef with this whole situation was the fact that due to an apparent language barrier or horrible misunderstanding, my opponent was donated a win that shouldnt have happened.
After many discussions on explaining my side and Teacher explaining his side.. I am willing to at the very least acknowledge that I misunderstood what he intended to say and he mispoke what he intended to mean.
If Teacher is willing to also acknowledge this possibility... and agree to erase all reports and records of game and set up a rematch as Strider suggested... then I would be willing to start the ball rolling and be the bigger man and agree to mend some bridges....

whats done is done, in order to forget all that happend, missundertandings, hatred (one way), tension, all in a whole, i'd say to close that clanwar chapter for good, let it belong to the past along with all the negative stuff.
i have a fair proposal to you, i offer you to start a new clanwar on your map , Battlezone, which i played it once with SQ, long ago, at its first versions i believe, and i couldnt get to understand a thing since he was very fast .
you know i dont have russian time to study it, it seems clock is ticking in a different way for them , so its almost a free win for you.
but for the fun sake and because others recommendations that your map is one of the best, i'd give it a try.
we can work on rules, set a date and i believe those situations wont occur anymore and we will have that part of the fun in return for "wasted" time.

Well with your proposal you get to keep the clan win... hmmm.. even tho its still in question as to weather you deserve the win or not... I guess since we both agree there was obvious misunderstandings of what we both said and thought we said...can let it stand.. But at the very least, would have to contact ves and have the TOH report removed and the 28 TOH points credited back... again its not about the loss or the points, but if teacher gets to keep the win, I should get something... which actually wouldnt be getting anything lol.. just erasing it. So after all is said and done.. teacher will end up with a win and Jinxer nothing. But I will sacrifice. Even tho, I would prefer to replay our clan war match... we can choose to play our replay match on Battlezone if you arent comfortable with DragonHill... just thinking if we both agree there is misunderstanding.. then nither of us deserve the win.. wouldnt be fair for you to get it.. So what do you think about having ves erase all records of it ... like it never happened.. and we replay our match on battlezone... for the current war? Just a thought... if you refuse and dont think that is fair.. then we can go with your idea... just trying to think of what would be fair for both of us... Thoughts.
Teacher please e-mail ves about this.. since my e-mails tend to get lost in his junk folder.
