Maybe you can think of NCF version, it's the same for all the people
The results of testing on the Avalon map are as follows:
Mod seems to work great, on this massive map I could even see as my hero advances to the level 34 after a battle, not visiting the tree - although there were some of them used before.
It only looks weird what happened with the last avliable levels - in fact, 40th requires 72M exp, while according to our caclulations it should be just over 3 millions.
Also, level 41 needs 2.5 BILLION exp, which is definitelly not ok, we must have missed something
The only bug I noticed is that game crashes when I attack a pack of wolves, but not when they join my army or are a part of castle's defense. It may be however caused by something else from my big mods colection

@BAD: I'd love it if you could explain, with any level of detail: how you knew what to change, what you changed in the exe, and how you made the patch program / how it works.

About 2.5 BILLION exp is the limit added by Nival...this is the limit and I will removed it once I'll rise the cap
Yes, I did only until level 35-37 after my calculation...just to see how it works.
Later will be improved and cap rised to at least level 50

Thats kinda lot of questions that could require half a book on the answer. He is experienced in this stuff, and WoG team member for a reason.
I guess taking some ASM lessons could help on the matter.

Isn't so easy to explain, but perhaps later I'll make a tutorial how I did it
There are 2 ways to reverse the code for levels:
1. Use the same formula created by Nival
2. Recreate the entire code by creating new offsets
For now, I choosed to use the same formula with a small change

Hello everyone!
I'm trying to make level mod for russian version of HMM5 TOE 3.1 to reduce experience requements for levels 25+
Can you anyone tell me how did you found the values you needed to modify in exe to change experience requements?
I tried to looking for 1.2 ... 2.7 8bit floats (float64) but didn't found the exp mods. Any help anyone?

With regard to the green/red charts on the previous page, I have to say I like the red chart better. A four-level difference in a hero's long-term isn't overwhelming, and if it is, the place where some kickbacks could be put in should be in item power or other areas, like Enlightenment stat bonuses. What makes levelling up fun is the new abilities, and not even the primary stat bonuses and overall hero power.
