There is a another reason to live beside the Heroes series?

Sorry for the big late. I had exams at the university so I didn't have time for heroes.

Let's get down to business:

Faiz VS Nur

Faiz became an excellent dark mage. Had vampirismus and frenzy as high level spells. His special is not that good, but if you want to decrease enemies' defense all the way down to zero, than he is you superhero. (Still, the damage is very low even at level 16^^) Get enlightenment from a witch hut and during the final level up he choose war machines to boost the might side of his army.



Nur's enless mana special is very useful in early game creeping. But, since Wizards have tons of mana in late game, it becomes a bit useless. She became an evil warlock and freeze everyone who stand in her way...



I never understood exactly how magic mirror works, but it twisted up thing a lot during the first match. Nur reflected Faiz's frenzy spell, and for some reason unknown, even vampirismus was reflected. (I wonder whose magic mirror did that. ^^) However, even after this bad luck, Nur lost to a bunch of magnetic golems and Djinn Vizier. Nur couldn't do anything against those two and got killed by them...

Galib VS Jhora

Bah... The crazy magic mirror hero. I never liked heroes who rely on too much on luck. (expect elves, they are always lucky. XD) He got leadership from the witch hut and wanted to learn empathy. Galib was running around with a mystic crystal. Battle mages destroyed the crystal too, so they made a good team.



Let's count a bit with Jhora's special: "Hero's initiative is 10+0.05*level. This means at level 20: 10+0.05*20=11. You get only one whole initiative during the 20 level ups. Still think that this special is so useful...? Just like Nur, she wanted to become a warlock, but her play was a bit messed up from witch huts, where she learned summoning magic.



Galib didn't had very useful spells for this combat. Fire traps? For who? Almost every creature fly or shoot in academy. The summon elementals spell is useless, but for some unknown reason it's a level 4 spell. Galib's only chance was phantom forces and mystic crystal. Fortunately Djin Viziers have good magic protection and even 1 djin can reduce the enemies luck bye 3. However, this time the evil warlock won the battle...

Havez VS Nathir

Sorry for a missing army picture of Havez. We somehow forgot to make that one. ^^' If you want to see his army, check the replays please. The great gremlin master was rather a might than magic  hero, but had devine vangance as a great killer spell...



Not another destructive hero...? Hehe, yes, but he was the best. Mark of the Wizard + Fire ball + expert enlightenment + phoenix cape dealt über damage to all enemies. He was my personal favourite during this game. At level 17 he got +6 or at least +5 spell power for his fireball spell. Now, this is nice.



YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS BATTLE. I won't tell the result.

Narxes VS Razzak

Not much to say about Narxes. He was the master of all summoning spells. He had summon phoenix, elementals, phantom force, fist of wrath and raise dead. Personally, I didn't see big differences in his and others battle mages...



Razzak was the another might hero. He didn't have any magic schools but wanted to learn light magic. Expert attack and defense, not to mention preparation was a great for his golems. He couldn't get the march of golems nor Artificial glory.



To tell the truth, Narxes didn't stand a chance. Razzak needed only a mass haste spell and killed everything in 3 turns without even really using his golems. Maybe wizards are better if they become might heroes...?

good results arxur. really wanted nathir to win. he is my fauvorite academy character. BTW did he win or not. i didn't watch the battle replays.

I don't know... Razzak did have the staff of IMBA, so perhaps that coupled with Mass Haste was too much. I also think Narxes would've fared much better with dark magic instead of summoning magic, get rid of Razzaks battle mages and he would've had no way of countering it.

If we have finished with the RuneMages and Barbarians, than the 4 winners will continue the fight:

1. Haven VS Inferno (Order VS Chaos)
2. Necromancers VS Rangers (Death VS Life)
3. Academy VS Barbarians (Magic VS Might)
4. Dungeon VS RuneMages (the underground fights)

This is all I know so far.

Ohh, and Nathir won.

I'm not sure Academy vs. Stronghold is a fair matchup. Stronghold has very strong anti-magic specializations, whereas Academy isn't too good on the might department.

Would make more sense to match them as:
2. Academy vs. Necropolis (summoning vs. eh ... summoning. But also animation vs. re-animation)
3. Sylvan vs. Dungeon (light elves vs. dark elves)
4. Stronghold vs. Fortress (attack vs. defence)

I forgot to tell about something:

In the next round the migrated heroes will have the already learned skills, abilities, spells and stats. Like in campaigns. I'll open up the map and modify starting heroes.

So, barbarians in their first round won't learn any shatter magic, since there will be no use. In the second round, they won't level up so many times to be able to shatter so much. I guess... Maybe until level 24-25.

But there is still time to think it over. Maybe I'll accept you advice.

Problem is that if you start with leveled heroes without creatures, magic heroes will be in huge advantage. In fact, might heroes won´t stand a chance

EDIT: You´d have to agree on "5 weeks peace" or something like that to make the battle at least a bit fair. Else magic heroes could just rush their might counterparts and tear them apart.

Btw, the whole idea of heroes reality show is amazing

If a barbarian has no shatter skills, he stands little chance vs dark magic heroes...

You said the heroes are of the same build as the first round? If that so, the barbarians won't get slots for shatter... Unless they find a memory mentor.

Alright but a shatter never was about rushes. Dark, light and summoning can be great by week 5, ok summoning less than the former 2

Most heroes have 2 free slots after the first round, so Orcs don't have to panic.

1. haven vs necropolis(blessings vs cursings)
2. academy vs inferno (order vs chaos)
3. dungeon vs stronghold (the real magic vs might)
4. fortress vs sylvan (all the others were taken)

This time I made a map, which was inspired by this idea. My brother is very busy lately, so we still didn't have time to finish the game, but I hope you will like this map I made instead:

Road to Haven

All of the greatest heroes of the Holy Griffin Empire have joined forces to put up an epic battle with you! Will you be albe to banish the 8 knight...?

Gain more than 30 level, collect an enourmous army, find Tear of Asha on day 2, build 3 castles at the same time, claim the power of the Dragons, don't stop until you reach the Havens!

~Arxur (ver. 1.0)


In this single player map, you'll face the 8 knight from the HRS. 4 of them are on level 17, 3 of them on 27 and the "final boss" on 35.

Features:

- Playable with every faction!
- Keeps you challenged until the very end.
- 3 starting towns.
- You can/should/must build Tear of Asha on day 3.
- Chance to reach more than 30 levels without any ancients of sylanna.
- Usage of memory mentors from the very beginning.
- You can collect the Power of Dragons and the Vestment of Enlightenment artifact sets for sure.
- It might cause some serious headache on heroic difficulty...

Please show us your hero before the final battle and tell us your opinion on this map.
