Hmmm, maybe I should release a manual installer, where you just have to put everything in the H5 folder from a zip or rar file.

@Kronos1000 : I use .jpg files

@VokialBG :I did the same thing

I used the print-screen button in the game and had a .tga screenshot I renamed it into .jpg and signed up to photobucket and uploaded the images (Three images)and it says [error (invaild file type)]

All right the used to be the conquest tiles before I replaced those for the BD tiles and I forgot to remove them from Map 3, but it has already been fixed in the public Beta. Oh and I don't see the problem on the Lich picture.

btw, I modified some duel heroes to see the nexus creatures and spotted some problems.

-some icons are "missing" (but I guess you know it already)
-some animations are missing, like the specability animation of the sorceresses and some animations of the flyin saucers.
-what does demonic do exactly?
-the sorceresses can't drain mana, give power, or explode.
-the xepedon vanguard is too similar to the succube
-the azmedon is too similar to the fire elemental
-the speculan has 1 HP
-the mana shaper has 1 HP, 1 damage, 0 attack, 0 defense
-the flying saucer has 1 power and gives 1 exp point
-the void shuttle can't turn invisible
-the celestial dragon make the game crash
-the cerulean firebird is insanely strong. one of them deal 150.000 damage, even on level 7 creatures. and they can play twice before anyone else has a chance to move (I guess they are supposed to be strong, but maybe not that strong?)

Huh I fixed those two or three days ago, maybe I forgot to put them in the archive.

Then what do you suggest, they won't be playable in a normal game (Nexus will), only in campaings. And Cd's and CF's are supposed to be able to beat an army with only one of them.

Well I'll test it, but Channeling works.


be careful for the planar sorceress, since both mana drain and explosion uses "<SpellPoints1>" so if you want them to be able to use both, you have to give them at least 2 spell points. moreover, each time they take an action, a spell point is spent because of mana drain, so they will only be able to use explosion during their 1st action. it may be very hard to balance as multiple mana drain can be unbalanced.

that's what I thought, but that's quite weird because to beat them you may need either an insanely powerful army (hundreds of levels 7?) or the implosion spell or a single balor for example

In mission five of the second Campaign they're supposed to fight each other and I knew about the Pit Lord (And Wraith) problem.

I have some suggestions :

beholders and upgrades : evil eye isn't inflicted by a range attack. either it was wanted, or maybe you should replace it by sorrow strike.

sorceresses : giving both explosion and mana feed to the same sorceress is an easier solution than mana drain + explosion (unless you want to give her infinite mana drain + infinite explosions)

xepedon vanguard : shooter, range retaliation, magic attack
azmedon : shooter, acid blood or searing aura.

btw, I was wondering if there wasn't some balance problems

the abberant scourge seems stronger than the infernal troglodyte, the xepedon vanguard better than the azmedon, enigma craft and void shuttle seem better than any other level 7 (at least statiscally)

Thanks I'll take your suggestions. The balance problems are mainly caused, because the ToK team lacked a balancer, so we decided to make the beta testers point out the over and underpowered ones.

@Pharox: The thing you are missing is a the new fix which is about to be released soon

@Fauch: I know 3.1 has a new exe and ToK is based on the 3.0 one, obviously.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

ToTE 3.1 has been released and of course ToK will be updated as well, therefore a new Beta will be released. So please bare with me.....

Why the **** can't i play Heroes after uninstalling TOK?

The TOK is fun to play, but i must say some of it's map designs are "to be honest" ugly! :S
Else it was fun, good story line up, great idea..

But now i whant to try the standard campaigns, and now nothing works!

It seems the campaign save file updates when the campaigns are changed I'll see if I can change the save file location. And yes some designs still need to be reworked.

To solve this you can just delete the Campaign.sav file.
