NBA PLAYOFFS 2008
So I'm a big Celtics fan. And I thought this would be a good place for people to talk some smack. I'll start by smack talking the Detroit Pistons. Those guys are down 2-1 to the 76ers. What's up with that ****? They aren't gonna stand a chance against a real playoff team. Looks like it will be Celtics and Magic in the Eastern Finals.

Looked like the Pistons were gonna lose Game 4. Good thing they got their act together. Going down 1-3 would have been bad news. If Detroit had lost game 4, I'd have to give 3:2 odds to Phili.
But now I'll give Detroit 3 to 1 odds over Phili.
I still think there's a good chance for this to go to Game 7 as well.

I'm more into Toronto and Orlando series and the reason is this guy:
AP, Anthony Parker I used to go to the games in Tel Aviv and cheer for his great dunks and plays, they said he is too old to go to the NBA... Guess he proved them wrong 
Anyway Toronto isn't doing that well, they are behind and that Dwight Howard is a monster in the paint

Detroit is goin down this year. Celtics are the only team that can take the West this year. They'd better get to the championship.
Edit: Detroit closes it out. Can't wait to watch Orlando/Detroit series. Should be exciting. Round 2 will hopefully be more exciting than Round 1. There were a lot of series let downs. Like Spurs/Suns and Mavs/Hornets. Even though Phili gave some trouble to Detroit. It was inevitable that Detroit would stop beating themselves. Even if Phili went up 3-1, I think Detroit would have still been 50/50 or better to win the series.

Sux for the fan but also fortunate.
Boston & Cleveland played like some dirty diapers.
Boston pulled through when it could of simply went to Cleveland as well.
It happens.
I would not mind seeing Boston & Detroit go at it.
It would be a really great rivalry for yall.
I am sure Sox would love to see it as well.
Nothing feels better in a sport then seeing your team beating your rival team.

I think you got the wrong guy.
Kobe who is compared to Jordan.
Enough to where alot of people are saying he is better.
Even the Coach said Kobe was the most deserving player he knew of MVP.
Knowing he coached the bulls lol.
Yea wrong guy.

Well kobe have more merits than lebron but he still need more championships, this is the real first campaing than I see him growing up mentally and playing for the team not for himself... but with lebron they called him "The King", and I see a lot of stats comparisions with MJ, more points in less years, stronger, more tall etc, trying to say is better player than MJ. And he is trying to look like the succesor of MJ using he number for example, but MJ had more heart than all his others atributtes and that is something that lebron will never have

Btw...In total career statistics, MJ is better in EVERY aspect except 3point percentages (34% vs 33%).. In points per game, MJ has 30,1 vs 25,0 from KB. 32.292 vs 21,619 in total

Im not trying to compare in any way kobe with his airness, Im just saying kobe have more merits to think in compare than lebron... but is too far from what MJ was... and I really dont think anybody will be close to MJ anytime soon...
Im with you, and I also think this is not about stadistics only is about the heart... nobody will be able to be like him...

LeBron and Kobe have both been compared to MJ. LeBron more so in Michigan, because of the parallel they draw about how both can't get past the Pistons. MJ always had trouble getting past the Pistons (back against the Bad Boys). And now LeBron can't get past my Chauncey. <3 And LeBron has MJ's jersey number. Yay...
