Gares games!
"Alright, how's my hair? So what's the name again? Ahem, yes. WHAT?! We're already on? Okay, LADIIEEEEEES an GENTLEMEEEEEEEN, tonight I present to you: 'Gares games!'
Good evening, I'm your host for this evening: Mr. Gares. And this is my lovely co-host: Ms. June.
Uhm... She hasn't arrived, yet. I see, ooowkay, someone is free to fill the seat of co-host at any given time, apparently. Damn, I was hoping for her to... I mean, no worries. we'll just continue.
The Gares games game show is a quiz with a few special rounds and, after each and every game, we hand out a special prize to the winning team. And we also hand out a small consolation prize to the losers... I mean, less intelligent ones. Each week we'll start a new game. Each game will have a special theme and have a number of rounds which will be minimum two and an endless maximum (my imagination is the actual limit). This game's theme will be an easy one: heroes. This means that every question will have "something to do with heroes" in this game.
You will be dependant on someone however. You have to have agreed with your partner. Yes, I will divide you up in a few teams with its own, unique nickname (chosen by the players) If a player claims not to have had any say in the matter, people will be penalized. Penalized players have a change to be bounced by our bouncer: Mr. Fernando Herņandez...
I see Mr. fernando is missing as well... Would he and Ms. June.?.?.? Naah, we'll just game on.
If you wanna participate in this new game go to this website, log in and Instant message me. I'll select the candidates in a very random way and I require also some candidates for my co-host since Ms. June has gone missing and any tough guy can be our bouncer who, hopefully won't be needed. We'll start the show soon on this channel, so switch to the tavern every day around 10.00 PM (GMT +1), stay tuned.

(Some commercial appears about this "freakingly awesome ringtone" and your basic instinct forces you to change the channel)

Some questions
First of all, what kind of game is this? I mean sure we work in teams, but how do I know I'm interested in such a game if you don't even tell what it's about? (or am I too dumb to understand). I know it's about Heroes quiz but is it similar to the Heroes Quiz or... how?
Secondly, do we sign up simply by sending you a message and then you randomly pick a team?
Thirdly is it absolutely necessary for it to be 10:00 PM (GMT +1)? It's a little late for GMT +2 so is there any way to play this 'offline' so to speak (i.e not 'live')?
Fourthly can we quit later after we signed up? 
BTW: if you don't want this post to ruin your thread, I will delete it after you give me the answers, Thanks.

Yes, yes, I heard most people get confused when hearing the rules of this game, so I will clarify the questions of our viewers. Damn me and my love of jibbertalking.

This will be a trivia game show, hosted by me and another volunteer.
Your random knowledge will be tested along with your creativity. Every round will test a different aspect of you. This game will be about heroes. So I can ask anything about the heroes game.
It's supposed to be all in good fun.

Yes... Anyone is also free to fill another role. The teams will normally consist of 2 players, so it won't be difficult to discuss with your fellow player.

It isn't absolutely necessary, since the teams have to have discussed their answers. I'm just saying when I'll post the next question, so that you won't be completely taken aback by surprise when you log on at HC and the questions are already being answered. The timetable is discussable. I will consider your area zones when I'm selecting teams. (one european and american against another euro against american for example) This will be the default hour just so you know. But I'm almost certain the hour will be different...

Yes, another one will be chosen to fill the position of missing teammate. It's highly recommended to complete the game, but after one game, other teams will be selected, unless everyone wants to continue playing as it is and there are no other volunteers.

No problem, actually I thought that all participants put their answers at that time or something, but if it's the 'next question' time no problem. But is it each day or how long?

I don't know, if I understood you correctly, then that means teams are made up of members with very different time zones? Doesn't that make the communication/discussion between the members of the team difficult, at least if we expect some kind of 'chat'? How does this 'discuss' with your teammate actually work, just a normal chat?

I actually meant to wipe away the small advantage Europeans might have over Americans or people from the middle east (by putting them in the same team). This discussion should be at the very least so that the teams agree with the answers so that there wil be no solo-playing. It might be very annoying when you play with a very stubborn player (so don't play if you only give your own opinion and don't care)
