Quote: Version 1.1 is what would be a real full add-on (not only Cove with some stuff)
No. It is still only Cove with only pair of another features.
Quote: and that's what is likely to be released in both languages.
Maybe, maybe..
Quote: This one will use ERA II though, right?
No.

Finally tried it out after thinking that I simply cannot wait until the English version.
quick question(s)
- Can I see a changelog please?
- Why did you change the birds from screen shots of before into this one? Both are cool, tho. (Level 4 Cove)
Feedback:
- The birds are flying a bit too low when they move.
- Units are a bit too expensive in Cove, imo.
- Cannons are crazy. Good. But crazy.
- I sometimes get constant crashes. No error messages or anything, the game just closes.
Thanks for everything.

I'd strongly prefer an english patch.
Also, reading OxFea's (whom I suppose is one of the modders) post above. I'm slightly confused, are you saying that you MIGHT first make an english version when 1.1 is released?

Not sure what could be the problem? Did you have a modified version of Heroes somehow (HD mode or alike that could be interfering with HotA)?
Make sure to open it through HotA.exe not the old Heroes3.exe icon and alternatively try re-installing Heroes Complete and HotA again.

...and that's why we need to wait for translation from HotA Crew.
EDIT: I am proud to present HotA unofficial site in English - you just have to click on the right flag above the menu. It's still under development, but most important information are already translated.
You can find it here: http://www.hota.acidcave.net/
Enjoy!

majaczek is the most obvious troll and provocateur I've ever seen in my life. By his actions he dishonors ERA teams by speaking for those people and accusing hota crew in crimes we didn't do.
Firstly he stated that Hota crew stole WoG commanders, stack's experience system and other features. But every person who played Hota or at least followed announces by team knows that there are no such features presented in the game. More of it - those features were never meant to be in hota. (maybe only as ideas in 2007-2008).
The second statement says that Hota stole script mechanics to made the 10th town in the game. And again it's wrong since all new features in the current versions were made in directly SoD's executive files via reverse engineering. No scripts.
Statement about people selling their souls to hota just made me laugh. People tend to join in groups to achieve ultimate goal. Single coder can't add new town. As single artist can't. But together they can.
And localization delays is only because there are , as Karen noticed, no text/dat files to edit. All names are hardcoded into exe file. In order to change it you need to use hex editors and/or other programs. And there may be differences in Eng. Sod exe and russian sod exe. So nobody can speak about simple editing of the text codes. The code must be adjusted to the specific features of the other version of exe. All it requires time from our coders.

Thank you. I had downloaded the hex editor a few days ago before I tried to translate this version. But it is clear that little progress has been made.So I have to give up the translation of HotA.I wish I could see the local version at several days.
I have waited four months.
Sorry for misspelling.

No, mostly encrypted in .dat file. Hex-editor will be useless.
