The most stubborn player ever...
I don't understand, my friend won't listen to me. When he chooses a team, he will only have the one type of troops. He don't use more then one hero, if he buy another hero that hero's purpose is only troop gathering for his main hero. So if he have two towns, he rather continue to have his main hero and only make the other town troops for defence. I think he's playing the game about five years and still continue to do such noobish things. I have a problem with that because I can't play against expert cooprative game with him against 4-5 computers. I can't play against him because thats far to easy. So my question is, What should I do? What should I say to him?

It sounds like you're describing me
I never use more than one hero out of fear that, with splitted armies, a hero won't be strong enough to overcome an enemy's main hero, leading to two quick deaths rather than 1 possible victory.
2 black dragons can kill 2 x 1 archangel with eaze...
2 black dragons vs 2 archangels is a different story.

I use one hero and try and make him really strong, get the coolest looking units and hate taking troops out of my castles because then my hero can't have as many as possible

Hmm, its not that bad.I play with one hero if on necropolis (Suicecide bombing with inferno ).You just have to know how do it right.

He use only the type of troops his main castle offer. If you have one Dungeon, one Stronghold and one Fortess then you compine the strongest force from all of your three towns. For an example, Your main heroes could combine Black Dragons, Ancient Behemoths, Chaos Hydra, Cyclops, Mighty Gorgons, Ogre Mage, Medusa Queens and Dragon Flies. But my friend. If morale troubles you then you could at least make use of the troops from two of your towns and the third as some kind of backup. But my friend, he would rather build only Dungeon units if that was his main town. And diplomaty, he does not wants troops that do not fith with his army, even if he had one empty slot. How stupid is that!?

Hmm.Maybe he should, but I don't know cause I just dump most other town creatures to skeleton transformer (or sacrifice in H5).

Sorry to say, but I agree with your friend.
I got 1 Super Hero and 1 supporting hero that defends the town against enemy heroes, when Main is out on a rampage!
if I have 2 towns, I get a hero with those troops only and my main has main town troops! yes mostly of moral issues, because if you got 2 types of lvl 7's, you would miss to many turns with them.!.
I agree with your friend, your way have to many down sides.

He don't use supporting hero at all
hehe.. If you have two towns. Your maintown Inferno and one fortress town. I would rather have Mighty Gorgons then Familiars if you know what I mean

I understand - Prepare for a lame reply: What about the RP'ish matter of the game? You don't mix armies . But again I really think that the moral issue is ENOUGH to not mix towns

Exacly the same here.
Using one strong hero and another one only supporting is the best idea. Exception is very big map - then two strong heroes are neccesary. I am against mixing armies also.

Unless it's a little map, I prefer to have more than one hero that can conquer towns and gather resources and artifacts etc.

Indeed. It is impossible to gather most of the treasury and artifacts with only one hero. Bether to have several heroes and take the treasury before your opponents.
