I have to clear my HCM, but I want this to be kept and I want this to be discussed, so I'm posting it here. Sorry Azagal. By the way, I'm glad you finally got the QP.

Quote:
Genielord:
Impressive, Creative, Intelligent, ambitious, selfish, kind (2x), diplomatic (2x), argumentative, nationalistic (not sure whether patriotic was ment here), Understanding, helpful, my old (?)friend , New gamemaster, naïve, I have to say that I really like good old GL. He's nice to people, tries hard but not too hard, and there's just a nice air about him, Militant Israelists I find to have little difference from militant Islamists.  It gave me warm fuzzies seeing Geny put you in your place, One of the best posters who is younger then most people here. Great ideas, is smart and he has a good grasp on the English language even though it is not his native language. Great to talk to, funny and good to listen to and also a good listener. Good helper as well, diplomatic, critic at times, Mature, intelligent and honest

Very mature for his age, likes people and treats others fairly no matter they're beliefs or origins. He is also very self-confident and likes competitions. He is not sarcastic, but appreciates humor. He is very little naive, and places importance on his nation (nationalistic type). He does not ever want to betray his nation or beliefs. He likes to play games or competitions, and loves to help other people especially noobs (at a given subject obviously, we are all noobs at some point). He regards others as he would at himself. He likes happines and wants others to be happy.

I want to reply only to the negative things:

Naive - well I guess that I am naive. But I'm also young, so this may change with time.
Nationalistic - True as well. I grew up with people of this kind. My grandfather was a solider in the independence war, I am named after my uncle (both first and last name), who was killed in 1982, in Lebanon war, and I can write lines and lines of those things. According to my education, this is a value.
Selfish - Wow, that shocked me. I honestly didn't see that.

Extremely funny and crazy person, he's a chiller, he usually has fun posts. Also really original thread ideas, thumbs up for testicles, Funny, attention seeker, selfish, You were 'The Man of HC', how come you quit, humorous dude, He's dead funny, that's for sure, and doesn't hesitate to burn any member if they have the poor judgement of, say, making a post. Yes, he finds humour and twisted sexuality in just about anything, You've come a long way baby, On RL he's really nice and funny (maybe if he's not always so nice on the forums). Fun to talk with, At times he can be kinda annoying but he is really cool and funny when he isn't annoying. A good poster who has come a long way, pretty fed up with himself, tends to be original and funny, can be very disturbing whenever he talks about aculias in a pink thong..., Too sensetive.Looks like Edge on WWE.Loves women.Positive.Over confident. Clown

He's funny, and usually sarcastic. He likes to hang out, and likes others to help him even though he does a relatively poor job at helping others (not that he wouldn't want perhaps). He also likes to be right, and is talkative and likes to get into threads. Likes to highlight specific funny stuff from threads.

Meh most of you know me for quite a time now, you've seen my good sides and my bad ones aswell but overall... I feel the love in the air

pretty fed up with himself - I could never have enough of TnT

A good guy but sometimes a little too serious, That guy never listen. He's mind is so close that he can never get outside of the box. On some OSM threads, more than 5 people had told him the same thing, but he ignored what everyone said and continued with what he has to say.
Too bad I'm like him sometimes. Hmm... I've still got a lot to learn, the worrying kind. Like to know many things, keep up the good work, HC needs good debaters, remember to re-evalueate your posts again after few years, He's quick to get his knickers in a twist, I'd say. Way too serious and sometimes annoying with the "Golden old ages"-rant., You're all over the place, which can be good.  If you find you like to play devil's advocate, be careful.  Others will catch on and not take you seriously if all you want to do is argue., While not all of his opinions are agreeable with, I do find that he does take the time to at least read everyones posts and to take the time to actually reply to them. He keeps the OSM active, one of the best ppl to fall in discussion with on HC, (I dunno why) "man", always trying to be right (but not to an extent where he's unreasonable)

Social but too dependent on the 'social contract' and does not act on morals, but on what is the 'greater benefit'. He's selfish in the sense that others need to be useful (in any way, especially economically )in order to be worthy. He is too confident on himself, and thinks that what he knows, especially about other people's emotions, is reflect by the truth and that others are never 'hurt' by this (when he says how others "should" feel). However he also empathizes less fortunate people, helping them because they will help the 'society' later, not out of love though (which I consider a bit selfish). Overall he has no much respect but is not so bad. He likes to debate and is good at debating (something which I usually enjoy to do with him). He is not often sarcastic but can be in few situations. He's way to serious however and thinks that others are reacting like him most times.

All right, a lot of interesting stuff in here, but some things I want to clear up.

Quote:
He's mind is so close that he can never get outside of the box.
I consider others' points of view, but I rarely find myself changing mine. They just don't convince me. However, to say that I'm close-minded is to go too far.

Quote:
On some OSM threads, more than 5 people had told him the same thing, but he ignored what everyone said and continued with what he has to say.
Just because a lot of people say something doesn't make it true.

Quote:
Way too serious and sometimes annoying with the "Golden old ages"-rant.
I haven't had one of those in over a year.

Quote:
If you find you like to play devil's advocate, be careful.
I don't. If I'm arguing a viewpoint that isn't my own, it's usually pretty noticeable.

Quote:
Social but too dependent on the 'social contract' and does not act on morals, but on what is the 'greater benefit'.
According to my philosophy, the "greater benefit" is the basis of morality.

Quote:
He's selfish in the sense that others need to be useful (in any way, especially economically )in order to be worthy.
A pretty common misunderstanding. There is such a thing as emotional usefulness too. That's why even if I may not make money or produce anything from interactions, I may gain emotional benefits that are even greater.

Quote:
However he also empathizes less fortunate people, helping them because they will help the 'society' later, not out of love though (which I consider a bit selfish).
It really depends on what is meant by "less fortunate".  If "less fortunate" is taken literally, that is, people who can be/are productive, but are unlucky and are unable to use their skills to rise, then we should definitely help them. On the other hand, if we're talking about the "less fortunate" euphemistically, meaning lazy people on welfare, then we shouldn't.

Quote:
He's way to serious however and thinks that others are reacting like him most times.
Duly noted.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned "quote wars".

The way things have gone there is little left for Azagal to make a surprise with so I might as well post mine. Don't take the following as an apology, I'm not that wimpy

Quote:
A very overrated poster. It's not that he is particularly bad or annoying, it's just that he gets alot of praise and I don't understand why. I'm not sure I've seen a bunch of hilarious posts by him or anything, and the praise is getting to his head a bit (not that he shows it overtly). I'm not sure what role he plays in HC. But, he's a nice enough guy. If those qualities are the worst about him then he's doing pretty well for himself

Nice, Intelligent, honest, determined, Seems a patient, funny and overall nice fellow, newbie mod who can't shut up and lurk like all the others, i quess HC needs it cover smile boy too, Nice, fun, chilled. Does his moderator job well and is active in every area. His posts are nice and he is polite and everybody's friend, A good moderator and funny in general, You seem to be a genuinely good person and you measure your words far too well.  Curses!  I will have the chance to rip on you before I'm done here!,

Quiet,Shy,Sensetive,Wimpy,Smart., While I do not agree with him posting so many posts that seem to be quite off-topic at times, I guess he is a nice poster. He doesn't need to reply to everything though, It's the reason he's the only one I haven't said a word about, and it's hard for me to admit it: I'm jealous of him. He is very popular, everyone likes him, he is a mod. He's getting the maximum of HC. In spite of that, we had used to be good friends, until he gave me one hit, and I decided I need to finish this relation.

Hehe he's a calm guy, appreciates good humour and likes to be neutral, though it does seem he prefers one group (in discussions) over the others (I will not reveal that ). He is nice and wants others to be happy just as he is; appreciates a good relaxation after a hard day's work and likes to participate in different community threads. He is helpful and likes to help out noobs (less experienced users) and is more tolerant than alc for out-of-topic posts, and he does not ever like to give out penalties (some consider him a bit 'soft', which I disagree).

I suppose I am what is said more or less. I like interacting with people, posting my mind and joking along the way. It does not always show but I am more serious than I look, then again the wastelands are not the best place to figure out someone I'm not the eternally optimistic happy happy person, in fact I always think of the bad side of things first. But that does not mean I let it detract from my fun nor do I plan things too much, I just go with the flow.
And one misconception is that I am a softy. People's criticism does not affect me as long as I think that I acted right nor will I cry over spilled milk, I will worry only when I feel responsible for something or not up to the task. There is always room for self improvement.

Now about some specific parts:

I've said it myself that I feel overrated but my good posts are in the temple anyway, 14 of my 15 qps lie there. Praise getting to my head? If so that would be accompanied by power abuse The bravado and acting cool are for fun which is easy to see.

Cover smile boy actually made me smile No Val did not pick me for public relations nor is this an artificial smile.
The jealous guy would probably be better off enjoying his own real and hc life than thinking how much I should post or how much I enjoy mine, it's easy to see that it poisons his thoughts. Btw I never was aware we were in a relationship
My preferring of one group in discussions depends if I am on mod mode or friendly Elvin mode, I thought you could tell by now

Ok, seeing someone refer to GenieLord as selfish was decidedly odd, but seeing someone describe Elvin as being an overrated poster ... that's just plain nonsense to me. But then, quality depends on the eye that beholds - I certainly feel he deserved every single QP he earned (and I awarded most of them ), and maybe sometimes people do not see that quality that lies not only in what is written in a thread, but also how it is written and what it does to the community in general.

Oh well, I could go on about that forever, but let me give you one comment in public here: You seem to have an anoying tendency to never step on anybody's toes! I'm glad I never took the approach for the popular Mod, because then we would be two here who were envious of you.

Noooo stop!! You're taking all the fun out for me. I will be the one to post what you got when everyone has told me what they wouldn't want me to post.

That way we'd have everybody in one nice big post. I would prefer it that way makes things easier to overlook imo.

Myy my.... aren't you all talented readers or perhaps you're all red colour blind and couldn't read the "stop!!" You jerks how could you?!!? Well not much I can do about it now since you've all already gone ahead and posted... but it's really not that bad as ruining my efforts but thank you TA for takeing me seriously (or not being red colourblind).

The thing I enjoy the most though is the QP I got that you all seem to like this and personaly I'm quite contend with the result aswell. Everybody got a really nice feedback and a fair amount of criticism (which seems to be handled just wonderfuly).

And now I've posted everybodys feedback in the masterpost since you already ruined it for me here().

Oh and thanks for the QP.
