We are, as of now, on a two week schedule, so you can by all means take some lazy time . And, I'll fetch your critique, along with Lord_Evils and Lexxans. I am going to post GL's now to the public...
"Impressive this week. I like the new innovative abilities, and the synergy with Incorporeal creatures. I like how you’ve taken the shadowy theme and warped it into a plausible mod-creature. I like everything about your entry. Good job.
Creativity - 8.80
Fluency - 9.50
Combat - 8.90
Flavor - 8.20
Average - 8.85"
So that you can compare post-involvement.

I don't see how people complained that GL's creature didn't flow very much, because, to my knowledge, it makes 5 creatures with incorporeal (the 3 ghosts, Avatar of Death, and itself). It would make it evil with Naadir with his Ghost summoning.

@sith: Ah...you have a point there.
And yes, I'd probably stop playing vs Necropolis if the Phantom got made.

Deep in the cool murky oceans dwell a race of creatures so ancient that some believe that their ancestors were before even the dragon gods. They had built a great civilization long before man was even exsisted. Inside their watery halls were tomes that most Wizards and Warlocks would sell their souls just to glimpse...
Then tragedy struck. Some disease of unknown origin attacked their vast minds, turning all but a few into almost mindless monsters. The few remaining went into hiding, isolating themselves to keep from being infected. Their once great cities sat untended for thousands of years, and eventually fell to ruins. Yet, not all of them were lost to the disease, a few remained uninfected.
The ones that had become infected had, for the most part, parished during the demonic invasion. Free now to try to reclaim some of what they had lost, they returned to their cities. Only a fraction of their collected knowledge remained, but even that was great indeed.
It was a totally different world, and after the invasion they surfaced to try to make peace with the surface world. The wanted to rebuild their civilization to it's once great glory. Only the surface dwellers were suspicious of all things now. It would be a long hard road, but at least they had each other.
Grimhan - Totally immune to the effects of the 'taint' (as they call it). Their mind has evolved to have some very potent effects, and they can even rip mana out of enemy casters, leaving them unable to cast spells (creatures only not enemy heroes). They are casters in their own right, but no slouch in melee combat either. Because of their mental gifts they are able to anticipate combat.
Caster, ESP, Mana Blast.
Caster - Eldritch Arrow (Expert level), Fireball, Earth Spike.
Esp - Do to their mental powers they see into the future. This allows them to always be first in the ATB (except against Kraugh's Pounder ability). After this first move, their init and atb bar is as normal.
Mana Blast - Can remove mana from enemy casters, but cost 1 mana for each 1 mana removed this way.
Some Grimhan go through a ritual that the others consider painful and harsh. They purposely disconnect themselves from the shared mind of the others, and focus their mental disciple on offensive abilities. They are feared and respected, for being so 'alone' is beyond the comprehension of the other Grimham. They become the..
Ascalon - Not as intune with the forces of mana as the others they make up for it by far with their psionic ability. Not only does this make them immune to any mind control, but can be used offensively as well.
Psionic, ESP, Immune to mind control
Psionic - Can be used as a unlimited shot ranged attack for normal damage, however it is in melee combat that this ability really shines. In melee combat their attacks ignore defense and have a small chance of stunning the enemy (the stun does not work on elemental, undead, or mechanical beings). Also their attack or retaliation always comes first in combat.
Some of the grimham go the opposit route, becoming more intune with their fellows and magic. It is an easier path then becoming an ascalon, even if it takes slightly longer. They become something like law enforcement, keeping the peace.
Zephyer - None can hide the truth from these seekers of justice. They can see into even the strongest mind, and wrest the truth from the most stubborn. Yet they are beloved by their own kind for they do not abuse their position of power.
Harmony, Caster, Mana Rip.
Harmony - When attacking they get a bonus damage of +1 for all units for every 20 in the stack. However, due to their desire not to harm others they loose the ability to retaliate against attacks.
Caster - Puppet Master
Mana rip - Like mana blast but can remove 2 mana for the price of 1.

Quote: @Lord_Evil - Don't ever suggest bias again. I'm sorry that you believe me to be swayed to GenieLords entry, and I cannot change your mind otherwise. However, this would be referred to as the term "sore loser". If you think that he swindled his way to the top by using a program universal to most modders, I believe you are seriously mislead. You and Winterfates scores were dead even to the third decimal place. You both get second place points. And, seeing how GenieLord has left, makes plenty of room for recovery.
I dont care what place i am, i just dont think that GL deserves that place, if you would have picked winterfate or Fauch i would understand why but this time GL's creature wasn't that great. And btw im not angry because im not first place im angry because he is.

@Fauch: In case someone thinks of the same name as you, which is nearly impossible of course, but it "could" happen.
Especially in Daystar's case, where he's using the Beholder...
Anyways...
Week 5(?) Entry
Ampat
Level 4 Alternate Academy Creature
Description: The Ampats are a mysterious sect of humans that believe that the mind is the strongest weapon. They shun the use of implements such as the staves and wands of their Mage cousins, choosing only to wear the most basic of leather armor to protect themselves from physical attack. They are extremely dangerous in that they can render an enemy unit unable to attack, crippled by his own self-doubts and fear. Such an enemy finds itself unable to do much of anything, except move as much as its shattered courage will let it...
Visuals: They look similar to Mages. Take off their turban and their wand, make the rest of their equipment leather instead of silk and you essentially have the visual description of the Ampat.
Stats:
HP: 22
Attack: 6
Defense: 11
Shots: Infinite
Damage: 7-9
Speed: 4
Initiative: 8
Abilities: Shooter, Ego Whip, Clarity of the Mind, Immunity to Mind Control, Infinite Shots
Ego Whip - Psionic ability (psionic abilities halve the user's Initiative while they remain active)/Activated ability - This unit can target an enemy stack not immune to Mind Control and cut its Speed and Initiative in half. In addition, that stack cannot attack or retaliate against enemy units that have more total stack HP than itself. This ability lasts 2 turns and has a cooldown of 2 turns (in other words, after the effect ends, you must wait two more turns to use it again, but can use it as many times per battle as possible).
Clarity of the Mind - This stack gains +1 Initiative for each week of growth present in its ranks. This bonus caps at 200% normal Initiative (in this case 16).
Infinite Shots - The Ampat use their mind to attack their foes, so they don't require ammo.
Dolienka - Level 4 Alt. Upgrade 1
Description: The Wizards of the Silver Cities can hardly be considered a group free from worldly temptations, even though some would have it seen this way. The Necromancers of Heresh are the greatest proof that darkness and everlasting power will always be the greatest temptations. The Dolienka clan of the Ampat have delved into the forbidden books of Necromancy. However, they seek not to raise the dead, but to crush the living. They have studied the forbidden arts for so long that they see even their own bodies as prisons for their powerful minds. Their distaste for life is only tolerated by the other Wizards because they really have no choice. If the Dolienka were to rise up against the Silver Cities, there would be no stopping them.
Visual Description: They are bare chested, with red pants and bracers. Their body has many scars, and their eyes blaze red with hatred.
Stats:
HP: 30
Attack: 6
Defense: 12
Damage: 9-11
Speed: 4
Initiative: 9
Abilities: Hatred, Psychic Crush, Cloud Mind
Hatred - This stack is fueled by its immense hatred of life. While at least one enemy living unit remains alive in battle, its Speed and Initiative increase by 2.
Psychic Crush - Activated ability/Psionic ability - This stack can skip its next turn to severely damage an enemy unit using the power of the mind to crush its body. Damage done is equal to 10*[number of Dolienka] + [enemy stack level]*[enemy stack size]
(This stack's ATB drops to -1.0, so it takes two of its own turns to act again)
Incorporeal units are immune to this ability.
Cloud Mind - Activated ability/Psionic ability - This stack can force a target enemy living stack not immune to Mind Control to skip its next turn.
Tradiei - Level 4 Alt. Upgrade 2
Description: The Ampat saw the hatred of the members of the Dolienka Clan and knew that they were living time bombs. One day, somehow, somewhere, they would most likely turn on their own and follow their own twisted ambitions. Anticipating this, the Ampat trained advanced psionic warriors of their own to counter the imminent threat. The Tradiei mantain the clarity of mind that their cousins, the Dolienka, have lost. They can free the mind of their allies from the effects of Mind Control, while also being immune to it themselves. In desperate times of need, they can sacrifice themselves to protect all of their allies from mental harm. They also possess the ability to trap enemies in their own fear like their unupgraded brethren.
Visual Description: They look mostly like the Ampat, except that the leather is colored blue, similar to that of a Wind Dancer, and they also possess a likewise colored headband.
Stats:
HP: 30
Attack: 8
Defense: 11
Shots: Infinite
Damage: 9-9
Speed: 5
Initiative: 9
Abilities: Shooter, No Melee Penalty, Infinite Shots, Ego Whip, Clarity of the Mind, Immunity to Mind Control, Clear Mind, Salvation
Clear Mind - Activated ability/Psionic ability - This stack can dispel Frenzy, Puppet Master, Confusion and Seduction from one of its allies.
Salvation - Activated ability - This stack can destroy itself to place Mind Shield on all of its allies for 0.25 turns*[Tradiei stack size]
Mind Shield - Grants 0.25%*[Tradiei stack size] (capped at 25%) damage resistance and immunity to Mind Control
NOTES: If you're old enough/downloaded a copy of the game somehow, Ego Whip might sound familiar to you. It is in fact a psionic power taken from an old AD&D game called Dark Sun.
Feedback is welcome, as always!

I've finally found an idea. everything about mentalism seems so little original
Psy-mare, Inferno, level 6
A lots of people fear the nightmares. Because they are known for causing slaughter and terror. But people also think they have demonic powers which make them cause fear and sorrow, which is wrong. These so-called powers only come from the reputation of the animal. Nevertheless, it exists a race of mares, more powerful, which has real powers and his the main reason why people fear nightmares so much, because they often confuse them with the way more dangerous psy-mares. Psy-mares are the only of their species to have true psionic powers, and their favorite trick is to manipulate the mind of their enemies to cause hallucinations.
_____________________________________________________________________
Abilities :
-Demonic
-Teleport
-Fear
-Frightful presence
-Hallucinations
-Immune to fear
-Dreadful neigh
_____________________________________________________________________
Fear :
The victim of this creature may run in terror, losing his retaliation and all his initiative.
Frightful presence :
The stack who try to attack this creature may run in terror instead, losing his retaliation and all his initiative.
Hallucinations :
Activated abilility, can target every creature and objects on the battlefield (like summoned crystal or even trees) and make them look extremly scary to the opposing army.
-The target is an allie : The allie gets the fear and frightful presence abilities.
-The target is an enemy : Every enemy near it receives -3 to morale. Every enemy 1 square from it receives -2 morale. Every enemy 3 squares from it receives - 1 morale.
-The target is an object : Every enemy near it receives -2 morale. Every other enemy receives -1 morale.
The psy-mare can only create one hallucination at the time. If it create a new ones, the previous one is cancelled.
Immune to fear :
The abilities of the death-mare also don't work on this creature.
Dreadful neigh :
Activated ability. Casts fear on every enemy stack. The chance it happens depends on the total strength of the creatures with the abilities "fear", "bear roar" and "frightful presence" in you army (including hallucinations) and the morale (the lower the better) of each enemy stack.
