Also... The amount of storyline everyone put into this contest is mind-numbing. I actually don't know how to compete against it! I think it'll be a titan clash. Asheera vs xerox (vs sith?)

Also reserving this space for posting the last areas.

The last areas consist of the docks and the beggar's nest.

Buildings:
ship yard (the shallow shores)

the fish monger's stand (beatrice's trout)

fight pit (mosquito's pit)

shady inns (The inn of ill omen + the hermit's lair)

taverns (jack's cards + the ill omen + the rusty Brawl

the warehouse

The ship builders (Rob 'n son's + Gil and roy)

small chapel (to the God, Skemmer)

Uhmmm... "the house of pleasure (The sailor's rest)

A crack denn

A casino (gambler's game)

Beatrice: she's an old hag. she sells fish (esp. trout over at her stand in what passes on for a marketplace, there)

Handige: He's the master craftsmen at the Shallow shores)

Beneveld: The drug dealer who sits in the Den.

Heck: The chapelain of skemmer. He's an arrogant bastard.

Rob: He owns the other ship building company. he's fighting heavy competition with Gil and roy. he spends most of his time, teaching his trade to his son.

Rob junior: he is heir to his father's business. he is not as much of a sailor as he should be.

mockba: he's the bouncer/ owner of the sailor's rest. mockba has very little patience and demands cash up front.

Oops edited that

THE LAST DAY NOW!!!

And here is Part 2 of my game, it became to long for one post lol.
Now i just need to do the storyline, It will come very soon on this post.

Skill Point System: In this RPG there is no boring leveling. Instead you gather skill points. Skill points are small golden levitating globes that appear after you have killed a creature.
The more difficult your enemy is to kill, the more skill points appears when you have killed it.
By gathering skill points you can upgrade your spells/abilities or learn new ones. There are three levels of spells/abilities.
Basic: The first level of spells and the cheapest one. You start with some basic spells or abilities depending on your chosen class.
Adept: The second level of spells or abilities. You can upgrade your spells to Adept skill as soon as you finish the prolouge.
Superior: The best level of spells and abilities that is very expensive but also very powerful. You can only learn Superior spells & abilities after you have done a mission in the middle of Act II.

http://www.halloweenmania.co.uk/images/spell-book.jpg[/img]

Stats: In this RPG there are stats so that you should not be forced to wear the same equipment all the time.
The stats are Wisdom, Vitality, Strength and  Defense.
Two these stats are unique to some classes. Spellcasting classes are unique to have the stat Wisdom and melee oriented classes are unique to have Strength. Only Vitality and Defense is shared by all classes.
However a few classes uses all of these stats.
Stats also slightly changes the appearance of your character (depending how how much amount of stat points you have) .
This special apperance can be turned off in options.

Wisdom increases the amount of mana (the energy used to cast spells with ) of the class. Wisdom also increases the damage dealt by spells and their effect. It also speeds up mana regenration.
Wisdom is unique to these classes: Mage, Elementalist, Seer, Necromancer and Runelord.
Those with high wisdom will change the color of facial hair to silvergray or silverwhite when they get older and like Snow Elves they will slowly grow a small aura and get glowing eyes.
Snow Elves with high wisdom themself get stronger auras.

Vitality increases the amount of health of the class. Vitality also increases the speed of your health regenration. Together with Defense they are the two stats increasing your survivability. All classes used Vitality.
Those with high vitality will look more living and not so pale as those who have low vitaliy.

Strength increases the amount of melee or ranged damage you deaö in combat. Strength is however limited to these classes: Warrior, Hunter, Assassin and Runelord.
Strength also changes the appearance of your character to look more robust then others.

Defense reduces the amount of damage enemies deal to you. It is the second and last stat that increases survivability. Defense is avaiable with all classes and exists in almost all kinds of equipment. Defense doesnt change your characters appearance and some could say that its not a "real" stat.

Equipment: Several pieces of equipment exists in this RPG and there are several levels of equipment too.
Equipment makes your character look diffrent and you can make your own equipment, buy it or gain it through quests´or free from "fan-clubs". These are the levles of equipment and who they are limited to.

Cloth: The most basic and unprotective of all equipment levels. Mostly spellcasters wear cloth because its easier to weave in magic to it then it is with other equipment.
Classes that start with wearing cloth are: Mage, Necromancer, Seer and Elementalist.

Leather: A big upgrade from cloth but still far away from the highest level of equipment. Mostly swift attackers wear this because its easy to move in and still protective. Many classes can upgrade their equipment through skill points to leather.
These are the classes that wear leather: Ranger, Engineer, Elementalist, Assassin and Runelord.

Mail: The third equipment level. Mostly melee oriented classes wear this since it is not super slow to move in and offers much more protection then leather. Only one class start with mail, the rest can upgrade to it.
These are the classes that can wear mail: Warrior, Hunter, Engineer and Runelord.

Plate: The final equipment level, plate is the most defensive one and much more defensive then all its lesser friends.
Plate is rarely used because you barely cant move in it if you are not very strong. No class start with plate and it can only be accessed through a quest in the end of Act II.
Plate is extremly defensive, but also makes you very slow. For each piece of plate ýour total movement speed is reduced by 5%.
When Mages use plate all their spelldamage is reduced by 5% per total piece of plate and mana cost increased by 5%.
These are the classes that can upgrade to plate in the end of Act II: Mage, Runelord and Warrior

Weapons: All classes can wear all weapons, but noone starts with all weapons and might need to go to another race country to train it. These are the types weapons you can get.
Swords, Axes, Hammers, Maces, Spears, Poleaxes, Staves, Wands, Crossbows, Thrown Weapons, Bows, Guns, Daggers and Shields.

Classes
Finallý, Im going to give you a little info about all the nine classes. Each race has three normal classes and one class that is unique for that race.
There are two races for each normal class.
All classes uses some kind of energy bar except the Engineer, who craft things to use in combat.

Warrior:

Races: All
Starting Equipment Level: Mail
Equipment Upgrade: Plate
Energy Bar: Anger
Main Stat: Vitality
Type: Armored Melee Combat Fighter

Warriors are common among all the races in or near Eritrea. Warriors are most common among Humans and Dwarfs and are very uncommon among Snow Elves (although Snow Elven warriors exist).
The Warrior fight in melee combat and can withstand great amounts of damage. Warriors use their anger against their enemies. The more Anger a warrior gets, the more damage he deals. He can also spend his Anger to do powerful attacks instead.
Many attacks are only avaible after the Warrior has done some special move, like have dodged an enemy attack, blocked an attack with his shield or scored a lucky strike.
However the more Anger the warrior has, the more vurnubke he becomes to attack. Warriors can wear all weapons except Daggers, Staves and Wands.

Ranger

Races: Human, Wood Elf
Starting Equipment Level: Leather
Equipment Upgrade: Mail
Energy Bar: Focus
Main Stat: Strenght
Type: High Damage Ranged Attacker

Rangers orginally comes from the Wood Elves but has spread to humans. Human Archers may train to Rangers.
Rangers are protectors of wildlife and the Woods and some Ranger possess druidic abilities. Skilled Rangers can communicate with the animals allowing them to have a great beast to aid them.
The Ranger uses Focus.
The longer time he aims with his ranged weapon, the higher damage comes. Focus is gained through damage dealing.
The more damage the Ranger deals, the more Focus he regenrates. Focus are used for many abilities.
Rangers also uses traps and poisons to slow down their enemies. A Ranger can not fight good in melee combat and has low defense.
A Ranger does very high damage and want to kill the enemy before the enemy reaches him.

Engineer

Races: Snow Elf, Dwarf
Starting Equipment Level: Leather
Equipment Upgrade: Mail
Energy Bar: N/A
Main Stat: Vitality
Type: Powerful but Expensive Ranged & Melee Damage Dealer

Engineers are one of the most strange careers someone can be in Eracion. Snow Elven and Dwarf Engineers are very diffrent, but recenlty they have begun to share their tactics to each other.
Engineers doesnt use any form of energy and can constantly attack their enemies - at a price.
The Engineer is a very powerful ranged and melee hybrid and can do area of effect damage. However he is very expensive to be since he needs to buy most of his reagants in towns and therefor he cant stay away from the towns for a long time.
The Engineer can attack several enemies at once, making him very effective to use in massive battlefields.
A Engineer can construct minions to serve him and gather reagants from enemy corpses...

Elementalist

Races: Wood Elf, Dwarf
Starting Equipment Level: Cloth
Equipment Upgrade: Leather
Energy Bar: Mana
Main Stat: Wisdom
Type: Spellcaster with High Survivability

Elementalists gain powers from the Elements and worship the Elemental Gods. They have existed since the dawn of time and all of the elder races have Elemenetalists among their ranks.
Elementalists are often hermits, spending their time alone to communicate with the Elementals.
A powerful Elementalists can also become one with the Elements. Elementalists are spellcasters and uses many, many spells to vanquish their enemies. They uses the fury of the elements and if the Elementalists seems to begin to lose then he just transform himself into a Earth elemental, allowing him to withstadn twice as much damage.

Mage

Races: Snow Elf, Human
Starting Equipment Level: Cloth
Equipment Upgrade: Plate
Energy Bar: Mana
Main Stat: Wisdom
Type: Powerful Damage Dealer but is Dependent on Mana

Mages are people that have absorbed energies from the Leylines to use against their enemies and to help themself.
Mages were orginally Snow Elves but they later learned the Humans it. Mages can do everything from teleporting their enemies away from them to blast time in a cone of magical energies.
However if a Mage mana should run out, he is nothing. Without Mana the Mage would instantly die.
But with Mana they become one of the most powerful persons of Eracion. Some Mages wear plate to protect themself if they should run out of Mana. But most dont because its not very comfortable and they lose much of their powers.

Assassin

Races: Wood Elf
Starting Equipment Level: Leather
Equipment Upgrade: None
Energy Bar: Agility
Main Stat: Strenght
Type: Fast Damage Dealer with little Survivability

Assassins are elite troops of the Wood Elves. They belive in speed and agility. A Assassin deals damage fast but cant withstand much damage if she gets hit.
Elven Assassins also possess druidic magic, and can teleport to enemies or blast them with natural energies.
Assassins energy bar is Agility.
The more the Assassin moves, the more Agility she gets and can do more attacks. Similar to the Warrior, she can also do many diffrent move if she successfully avoid an attack or something like that.
Assassin can also be very cruel, and are known for letting their enemies bleed to death with poison in their blood.
If some though Wood Elves were nice, friendly and calm - think again.

Seer

Races: Snow Elf
Starting Equipment Level: Cloth
Equipment Upgrade: N/A
Energy Bar: Mana
Main Stat: Wisdom
Type: Low Damaging but with Powerful Blessings and Healing

Seers are Snow Elfs that are the children of the Avatars ( Incarnactions of the Oracle).
They can see into the future and predct the enemies next attacks. They can bless themself and others, making them stronger.
But they can also attack their enemies mind and slowly destroy it. A Seer can heal herself when she is running out of health.
A Seer doesnt to much damage to enemies, but her Blessings and Healing makes him a very powerful ally to have in big battles.
It is also said that a Seer can ressurect herself upon death...

Runelord

Races: Dwarf
Starting Equipment Level: Leather
Equipment Upgrade: Mail -> Plate
Energy Bar: Mana
Main Stat: Strenght & Mana
Type: Very Good Hybrid Class

Runelords are Dwarves who have mastered runic magic. Runelords are one of the most unique classes in this RPG.
They are the only race that can obtain both the stats Strength and Wisdom and uses a combination of spells and melee abilities.
They can take very much damage and deals moderate damage. The Runelords only weakness is that they are slow in almost everything they do. Runelords can use the runes they have crafted to strenghten themself. While a Runelord is powerful, they can be easy to learn but very hard to master because of all combinations.

Necromancer

Races: Human
Starting Equipment Level: Cloth
Equipment Upgrade: N/A
Energy Bar: Mana
Main Stat: Wisdom
Type: A Good Pet Class that mainly does Damage over Time

Necromancers are also called Deathpriests since most of them were or are Priests of the Sun Godess Valyria.
Necromancers dont belive what they do is evil. They belive that Necromancy is a good thing and cant understand why many people hates it. In the past or the time in this RPG Necromancers were everywhere and were not banned.
They think that they bring back people from the Darkness and helps them fight for the Godess again.
Necromancers are very weak in close combat but have countless of minions that assist them.
The Necromancer doesnt do much direct damage but does more damage over time. In addition to his many undead pets the Necromancers can become undead himself, greatly increasing his survivability.
Necromancers are pale and weak and would die fast in close combat. The Necromancer can also cast many curses and disease enemies, making them slowly die without knowing anything.
The Necromancers look weak, pale and almost undead because they also do soul magic and exploit their own soul.
They can burn the souls of their enemies while they are covered in a wall of Undead minions. If a Necromancer is losing lots of health fast he just sacrifices one of his minions for a health and summons a new minion. Necromancers can also mind control enemies and sacrifice them without problem.

Storyline

The whole game starts with a small cinematic.

Year 2012 our planet became another...
Shows the Storm comming to Earth.

The People of Earth awakened in a new world... but only one remembered something. Shows Cael rise up from his bed in Eracion for the first time.

And for a long time he would be the one to keep order in the new world of Eracion..
Shows some scenes from "Into the Storm" and "The Lost Age".

But things turned against them him when he discovered that there were other races in this world to.... and they were not friendly.
Shows Orcs invading the Elvenwoods and burning it down.
Shows a peaceful floating town in a swamp. You see a shadow beneath it in the water and some seconds later a huge Hydra rises up under the floating village and enrages.
And lastly shows the Silver Spires in a huge shield and enorumos armies of the Nordár siegeing it.

Some fought, some ignored the new wars and some... wanted to flee to distant lands.
Shows You and your friends in a desert with Egyptian-inspired ruins around.
Then a cut-scene starts with the party.
In front of them a are several large Pyramids and a dialogue starts. There are five members in the party.
A male Snow Elf Seer, You and some others that always are a diffrent class from you.
A girl says that they need to climb the Pyramid to get to the treasure chamber. After that she tells the Mage of the Group to teleport them when they have taken their treasures.
The treasures are needed so that they can buy a boat and flee over the sea. The prolouge now starts.

You climb the Pyramid and fight Rakshasa and reach the treasure chamber. A giant staty with six arms and six blades stands in the end of the room. A members of the group goes a pokes on it and suddenly it awakens and a boss fight start.
You lose and the statue kills everybody in the group, but you manage to survive. You see a black hole and without thinking you jump into it. This was in fact a hole in time and you are sendt back to the time when the Humans had a war on the Nordár.
Depending on your race, you come to diffrent areas and the first act starts.

Act I: Human
You awaken in the Northlands, captive by the Nordár. But you manage to flee. You come to a half-human/half-nordár village and do some quests there. They tell you about the situation and agree to escort you out of the Woods if you help them destroy a nearby camp of Nordár. You help them and get escorted out of the Woods.
Some Nordár attacks under the escort and a Einherjar comes. Your escorter abanoad you when one of their men dies.
You manage to defeat the Einherjar and suddenly it turns out that the man had not died. He watched you and tells you that you should take the helm and show to the other humans.
You do it and starts to explore the area to find a human city. You find one of the famous Knight-Cities and show it to them.
However they think its fake and you are set in prison.
However by using your class abilities you manage to break out of the prison.

Now a long time without the main quest starts. You need to get some reputation before you can contiune with the main quest.
When your reputation with the zones towns becomes a little bit higher you are asked to go to the biggest city in the North to speak with the leader of the Knights there.
The Knight says that you look promising and recruits you into the Army of Light, the main faction of the humans.

From here you begin to do some quests for them, including destroying Nordár camps, killing Trolls, burning down a Nordár fortress and so on. From here its not so much to explain.
You venture through the entire Northlands helping the Army of Light against the Nordár.
In the end its time to attack the capitol of the Nordár that lies on a large island in a huge lake.
The capital city is called Heimgarde, meaning "Town Fortress".
There is a huge battle and you need to do some things in it. The human army manages to do some destruction in Heimgarde but is forced to retreat later.

You are sendt to the capital city of Aebron to become a Champion of the King. This happens in a cut-scene.
Act I for humans stops here.

Act I: Wood Elf
You awaken in a burned part of the forest. Apparently a battle was foughth here by Orcs and Elves, and they though you were dead.
You venture through the Woods and battle some Orcs before finding a elven outpost. They instantly recongnize you and tells you that the Orcs are startin to win.
While you heal he sends you to the Druids in a elven down, he wants informtion on what can be done.
The Druid tells you that the mystical Groves that creates a barrier between the diffrent parts of the forests are getting destroyed by the Orcs and that they soon whíle have a free path to go to the elven capital and destroy the entire Wood Elven race.
He tells you that you should help him restore the destroyed Groves to restore the mystcial barriers.
But he also tells you that it should be wise if you got a little bit stronger first.

So you gain some rep and do some quests around the forest now before you can contiune with the main quest.

Now the restoration of the Groves start.
You know that all groves except one is destroyed in the eastern part of the Forest.
If this Grove is destroyed, the Orcs will soon reach the elven capital, destroy the Great Tree and in turn devaste the elven strength.
From here you fight Orcs and restore the Groves by gaining guarded artifacts that was though to be lost.
You then protect the surviving Grove from a average sized Orc attack.

In the end you attack with some elves a Orc fortress outside the Forest. A Centaur (he was a betrayer ) tells them that the only way to silence the Orcs is to show them who is the leader.
After the big battle you are sent to the elven capital to met the leaders. They tell you that now that your task is done in the Elvenwoods, you must aid the rest of the world.

Act I: Dwarf
You start as normal citizen of a village near the Underworld. Suddenly demons attack and kill your family. You flee out of the burning village and swear to have revenge on the Demons.
You venture to a milittary outpost in the Underworld and begin your campaign against the demons.
Apparently some Demons have managed to sneak out from their prison and are now spreading chaos in the regions above the Underworld.
You help some villages and gain some reputation with them before you can contiune with the main quest.
From here you are sent to find this demonic group and uncover how they managed to flee.
When you find them you find out that some Runelords had released and betrayed the other dwarves. These Runelords thought that the demons wouuld be a lot more friendly if they were released.
They were wrong and you question them out for information. The Runelords say that they are attempting to awakaen the Elemental God of Fire and use him to release them.
You are sent to a major Dwarf town to talk to the leading Runepriest there. He tells you that the only solution is to go into the Demons prison and attempt to seal them away from the Inner Core of Eracion. The Runepriest says that he will ask the Thane for military assisstant to invade the demons prisons and gain their attention while you find a way to seal them off from the chamber of the elemental god.

You do this with the help of some really powerful runes. When you have done this you go and assist the dwarves with the huge battle against demons. In the battle you, with the help of the Runelords, imprisons the demons again.
When you are done you are getting returned to the capital city to become the right hand of the Thane.

Act I: Snow Elf
You start of as a normal citizen of the Silver Spires. You have heard that there are troubels in the subterrain part of the city and go to check it out. Apparently something has happend with the vast amounts of Ley-lines going about from the Crystal.
They are spawning huge creatures to attack everyone and a large part down there is shut off.
You begin to join a team led by a Archmage to solve the mystery. It appears that one or more ley-lines have been dramatically changed which is not good.
When you try to join the Archmage and his group in further investigation he denies you, saying that you are to weak and just a citizen.

Wanting to prove that your strong you venture out into the wild, attempting to fight a Giant. You find a Giants in the mountains that lies in the border to the Northlands.
You fight some Trolls and Nordár too. You take on of its rings to show the Archmage that you are strong.

The Archmage then accpets you. He says that you could help them by finding out where the Ley-lines leads. There are two ley-lines that have been twisted and you track where they led.
One leads to a weird crystal cave.
Inside a group of Minatooa ( a Minotaur-like people) has apparently discovered the existence of the ley-line and has used it to power the tribe up. They have also become some short of twisted hybrid between Shaman, Elementalist and Mage.
They refuse to give up the power source and says that the creatures comming out of the ley-line makes it stronger.
So you fight them and later kill them all.
But still you dont know what did the whole in the two ley-lines, only that some Minatooa used it.

As you track down the other ley-line. However before you can get there a huge mana creature appears from no where, it razes the cave the ley-line leads to and you are lost.
But you survive. You then found whats twisting the ley-line up. In the cave the Archmage that asked you to find the ley-line sources stands. He and his group had betrayed the other Snow Elves and wanted a power source that they didnt need to share.
The Archmage in the Silver Spires was just a Mirror Image spell.  The Archmage says that its already to late for you to help it, because he has released a horde of mana creatures to attack the Silver Spires.  He then teleports you away in the middle of the battle and you need to defeat hordes of ley-line creatures.
A battle starts down there that is rather huge. The battle contiunes in the cave where the Archmage is sucking energies out of the ley-lines. The battle is huge and he summons several creatures and even a entire fortress to help him defend his ley-line.
You and a few Snow Elves destroy the summoned fortress with the help of a Arcane Colossus and duel the Archmage in a battle.
The Archmage dies and you are sent back to the other Archmages. They ask you to become the new Archmage and says that they will now restore the ley-line.

Act II
Is the same for everybody ( almost ).

While your character travels around in the world helping your main faction with diffrent things you see a very familar face on the way. Its the Snow Elven Seer from the when you raided the Pyramid in present time.
He sees you to and tells you that he survived. He is suprised that you didnt suspect that, after all he is a Seer and can see into the future. He says that the only way for the Snow Elves, Dwarves, Wood Elves and Humans to defeat all the new enemies in present time is to gain the Dragons trust on their side.
The problem is, the Dragons are almost exterminated and their four leaders will die or be corrupted very soon.
But in the past all are alive and are fine.
He says that he has gathered a group for you so that you can find these four dragons and travel back in time to win the World War.

One Dragon is in the north, one in the east, one in the west and one in the south of Eritrea and its surroandings.

Act III
Basically you find these dragons and gain there trust.
It ends with a Dwarf spy saying that the Rakshasas from the future is returning through a time hole in the south.
The Seer says that you need to attack the Rakshasa or otherwise they will screw up the Element of Time.
Its also revealed that the Rakshasa are minions of the Shades (those that controlled the Storm ) and that they are another way to destroy Eracion.
The Rakshasa will attempt to close the Time hole so that the Dragons never go back to present time and win the war.

Act IV
This is only a huge battle. You must do it under One hour or you lose. Basically you must kill the Rakshasan Timeshifters and kill them and then some Mages will enlarge the time hole so that the Dragons can fly in to present time.

Epilogue
Shows scenes in a cut-scene how four great dragons and lots of minor dragons destroy the enemies in present time and destroy the Shades thus demolishing their corruption amongs Eracion most powerful races.

that sounds like the FABLE levelling system

No, asheera, the system is like this:

you choose what you upgrade py giving exp. So i can choose to upgrade either (for example) my melee skills (like health, toughness etc.), my stealth skills (like stealing, bartering etc.) or magic skills (upgrading mana + spell purchasing). In levelling, your class specifies the way you develop, but, here, you decide how you develop up.

(btw, I'm praying that sith doesn't compete)

Yes it is like Fable system.

I find it much more enjoying then leveling up with XP like in WoW.
There are no levels.

You just get skill points as a currency to buy spells & abilities.

Not all games I played have "classes". And my system doesn't either

In my system, when you levelup, you select what skills you'd like, upgrade existing skills and increase attributes. So I wouldn't call "leveling boring", but the way classes limit your freedom in some games

OK, I'm going to make everything clear, because everyone tells me that I am confusing. (just look at my sig. ignore my enemies, cus I really don't hold a grudge against mytical, seriously. I have no idea why I should.)

gameplay: You can be of any, race, alignment and class. I pass on your objectives. I mod, when powerplaying or confusion kicks in. The emphasis is on your character. You have all the initiative in the game. That's why I post the areas. I almost created every NPC with a side quest in mind. I will act as hand of god, occasionally, and I also make a situation sketch when you enter a building (and make the speech bubbles of my NPC's). Most things I do, should be done behind the scene (hence the name: "Intentions", they are hidden) If you just give away your intentions, you are very likely to die, because Elya has many spies(so you can guess that most intentions are against elya, but then again, you can also bet your sweet buns that some players will be bounty hunters)(but their intentions should be unknown to the other people etc)(My intent is to weave an intricate web). So here's my intent(ion) of making a seemingly semi-freeform rpg.

I must say that I require more time. My game is taking a lot more time to compile than I originally thought, and the random weeks of my absences don't help things. So, may I have just two days extra time?

Two days is fair enough.  Will give people time to polish their entries.

May I ask: Do you use your own artwork? (I think probably no, but I should still ask)

If not, what are your sources? (this is directed to both xerox and Asheera)
