Caesar's Finals Have Begun!
Some of you are probably aware that the current ToH season is about to end and the emperors are playing for finals. You will probably not be very familiar with the tohers but it will be a good chance to see how things are run and of course keep an eye on the game comments and replays. Oh yes there will be replays so you can bet there will be some interesting things to see 
Who knows, eventually you may want to join as well.
Here are the round 1 matchups, notice that I managed to sneak into the waiting list LOL! (Because 3-4 players are inactive what did you think  )

Well, i have to say that Necro in the 1st match didn't stand ANY chance. The power of Dungeon spell would wipe out the whole undead army. Is far as I'm concerned, Sinitar could've entered the battle only with stalkers and w8 till empowered circle of winter do the job.

I have a feeling he did not have dark, he could have done some damage with frenzy/puppet. He did not get logistics early(or at all) so he could not keep up and fraudatio gathered the middle. Just look at the stats, big difference.
For those that watched the second replay and were confused about the vampiric rakshasas not draining life out of the dwarves I have posted an explanation in the original thread. Meanwhile fraudatio is facing firedragon in the third game.
Speaking of which is anyone taking a look or am I wasting my time?

And I can't wait to see the replays Elvin, I'll download them immediately!
EDIT: In the first replay, Necro didn't stand a chance. I would have picked Skeleton Warriors (MUCH better than Archers) but still it wouldn't win Kaspar's game.
The second replay was interesting. At first Academy was in a clear leading position and I thought Nur would win the game, but those Runes really make a difference
And so many Puppet Masters... where did Ingvar get all that mana?

He probably broke faster, there are many goodies on rat race. It was a great game but Fred made some impatient mistakes, hope he at least gets the third one

Interesting battles there
Fraudatio(Sinitar) vs Firedragon(Kaspar)
First one was a bit of a massacre, Kaspar just couldn't keep up with dungeon's damage output. I was surprised that Kaspar did not pupet the raiders or the dragons, vamps fell very fast too.
Fraudatio(Nur) vs Firedragon(Ingvar)
Second was real sweet, Nur had a much bigger army and should've won if it wasn't for her incapacity to kill entire stacks. Ingvar essentially kept rezing his guys, which were not much of a threat really but were tough to take down, while dark did all the job. Great strategic use of magic by dwarf player. Too bad Academy could not raise it's dead.
Fraudatio(Lucretia) vs Firedragon(Klaus)
Third match showed a clear inbalance in forces Klaus having a clear advantage in army. I wondered if maybe Necro had a chance with dark, and expected a PM on first turn on the stack of paladins but he chose a mass spell instead and lost a big stack, then another. I still thought necro player had something up his sleave but after he pupeted the Archangels, it was clear that Lucretia would suffer a clear loss.
Fraudatio(Ylthin) vs Firedragon(Garuna)
Another surprising match, Elf player played remarkably well, very tactical and intelligent troop placement showed good knowledge of the faction. The massive stack of 17 treants seemed impossible to take down, but even without it Ylthin was doing a real god job at neutralizing the orc oponent. During the whole battle the goblin trappers seemed like a pathetic useless unit, and I was sure they would be totally beaten but the massive treant stack. What a surprise it was to see that the treants got completely owned but a mere 250 goblins that didn't even suffer more than 50 losses.
