Artifacts review

Ok I have created a little review of what I think of all the artifacts. I wanted to post it here. The artifacts will be posted in alphabetic order. I will not have campaign artifacts in my list.
All-Seeing Crown
Cost: 4000
Review: I think that this artifact is very bad. It is good to see farther over terrain. But there are many more better artifacts to use on the head slot. But it is good if you find it on the map and if you don't have anything on the head slot. But I think that it is nothing to pay 4000 for.

Amulet of Necromancy
Cost: 7000
Review: This artifact only helps if you play as Necropolis. If you do it is very good. The rising cost is very high and 10% is much when you are raising many creatures. But if you play as another faction than Necropolis it is not very good but it is worth picking up anyway because if you sell it it will give you some gold and gold is useful to have.

Armor of Valor
Cost: 5500
Review: an overall bad artifact in my opinion. I would not buy it but I would use it if I found it on the map because morale is very good. And especially in early game it is good. When you have a low level hero +1 defense can be good to.

Armor of the Forgotten Hero
Cost: 28000
Review: I think this is a good artifact. And I would buy it if I saw it. The 20% magic resistance is very good against magic enemies. And +2 of all stats is good for both a might and magic hero.

Axe of the Mountain Lords
Cost: 10000
Review: A good artifact. It is especially good if you have a hero who speciallices in Ballista or if you play as stonghold or any other might oriented Faction like inferno or Haven.

Bag of Endless Gold
Cost: 10000
Review: It is a good artifact wich gives gold and gold is very useful to have. But in late game when most people have lot's of gold it is not so much useful. It is very good to when playing as Haven who can train units. But when you have much gold it can be replaced by better Artifacts. If this would happen I suggest giving it to a secondary hero so you still recieve the amount of gold it gives.

Bearhide Wraps
Cost: 4500
Review: a good artifact in early game. It is good if you are facing Dungeon or Academy wich have a hero who only uses Ice bolt or Frost ring. And the extra defense is good to have to. Especially in early game.

Beginner's Magic Wand
Cost: 5000
Review: A good artifact for magic factions. I think it is a little to weak to pay 5000 for. And also you might get it if you choose an artifact as starting bonus.

Book Of Power
Cost: 9000
Review: A very good artifact for heroes who have Enlightenment skill. And it costs very little. If you have a hero with expert enlightenment i would buy it as soon as I see it.

Boots of Magical Defense
Cost: 4000
Review: These boots is very good for a faction who uses magic resistance. Like Stronghold. It is also good to use with the Magic resistance ability and other Artifacts giving Magic resistance.

Boots of the Open Road
Cost: 11000
Review: A good artifact who is used very often since it often is plain grass you walk on. A little trick I have learned is that if you wear them when you end a round it's effect will be for the whole next turn. Wich means that you can still switch for fighting boots when you are entering a fight.

Boots of the Swift Journey
Cost: 15000
Review: It is very good to have more movement points. If you have expert Logistics and the warpath ability it is very good to have to.

Breastplate of Eldritch Might
Cost: 5000
Review: an artifact wich is good in early game. It is an artifact wich you might start with. And it is very good for magic factions but for stronghold I suggest that you sell it as soon as you can.

Cape of the Lion's Mane
Cost: 6000
Review: If you have expert morale then this artifact is very good. It gives you 2 morale points. If you have expert morale on this you will have a total of 5 wich means that there is a 50% chance that you will get good morale. It is also very good to have if you have the Empathy ability.

Cloak of Death's Shadow
Cost: 13000
Review: A good and ceap artifact that lowers the morale and luck of the enemy by 2. And this is very good because then there is a chance that the enemy's attack will deal less damage or that they wont attack at all.

Cloak of Sylanna
Cost: 4000
Review: A good artifact. If combined with much spellpower and other artifacts who gives bonus to earth spells can give you a very good Implosion.

Crown of Leadership
Cost: 7000
Review: A very good artifact wich is very cheap for such a good ability. If you have a hero wich specialises in Diplomacy this crown is a must.

Crown of Sar-Issus
Cost: 15000
Review: A very good artifact wich gives you 60 more mana. and if you have the intelligence ability it gives a total of 120 mana. And that is very much.

Cuirass of the Dwarven Kings
Cost: 17500
Review: a very good artifact wich not only gives much defense but also makes all your creatures immune to one of the most powerful spells in the game.

Cursed Ring
Cost: 7000
Review: A good artifact wich is very cheap for such a great ability.

Dragon Bone Greaves
Cost: 10500
Review: A good artifact wich is very cheap and gives 4 more spellpower. And it also increases all initiative to all non-flying creatures in your army by 10%. And this is very good. I suggest that you take this artifact if you find it.

Dragon Eye Ring
Cost: 13000
Review: A very good and cheap artifact. And it takes up a slot wich is rarely used. And if you are lucky you can have two of them.

Dragon Flame Tongue
Cost: 14000
Review: one of the best sword artifacts in the game in my opinion. But it is very rare so I suggest taking it at the first chance you get.

Dragon Scale Armor
Cost: 10500
Review: A very good and cheap artifact. It is one of the best bodyplate artifacts in the game. The only one I think is better is the Cuirass of the Dwarven Kings.

Dragon Scale Shield
Cost: 10500
Review: A very cheap artifact. However it is not one of the best shields. But it is in the top 5.

Dragon Talon Crown
Cost: 10500
Review: A very good artifact if you use knowledge often. It also provides some initiative to your war machines if you like to use them.

Dragon Teeth Necklace
Cost: 10500
Review: A good artifact for spellcasters and for a faction with many casters in it. Initiative is always good.

Dragon Wing Mantle
Cost: 10500
Review: Mana is always good and this artifact gives 30 mana. It also gives more initiative to flying creatures. And some of the best creaturee that exist is flying. Most level 7 creatures fly.

Dwarven Smithy Hammer
Cost: 9500
Review: A good attack artifact wich gives attack bonus but also gives some defense from fire-based attacks. And most magics are fire-based. Like fireball or Firewall.

Edge of Balance
Cost: 5500
Review: A good artifact that cost surprisingly little. Very good in early game.

Elemental Waistband
Cost: 6400
Review: A very good early game artifact wich gives you a very good spell early.

Emerald Slippers
Cost: 6000
Review: A very cheap artifact in my opinion. It makes one of the games most effective spells deal even more damage.

Evercold Icicle
Cost: 6000
Review: In my opinion it is a very nice artifact and Ice bolt (wich this artifact enchantes) is a very good early game spell.

Four Leaf Clover
Cost: 3000
Review: An artifact who workes very good for people who uses luck very often. If used with other luck giving artifacts can give you luck very often.

Golden Horseshoe
Cost: 6000
Review: Same as for Four Leaf Clover.

Greaves of the Dwarven Kings
Cost: 17000
Review: A good foot artifact. If you put ot on when you go into a battle it gives you the bonus you want but you can still wear foot artifacts who gives map bonuses when you are outside the battle to get 2 bonuses.

Helm Of Chaos
Cost: 5500
Review: A good artifact for people who focuses more on knowledge and spellpower instead of attack or defense. A cheap artifact for such a good ability. Altho defense should be as high as possible. But if you wear it when you end a turn and then switches to another one when moving into battle you still have the extra mana.

Helm of the Dwarven Kings
Cost: 17000
Review: It gives much knowledge and the blind spell is very good. If I'm correct it also makes you immune to the special of the unicorns.

Horn of Plenty
Cost: 10000
Review: A very good artifact to use for a secondary hero who collect resources. And if you are lucky you might get the resources you want.

Lion Crown
Cost: 12000
Review: A good artifact who gives both luck and morale. If found I suggest taking it.

Magic Scroll
Cost: 5000
Review: It depends on the spell if this artifact is good or not. If it is a good spell I suggest buying. But if the spell is bad or you already have it I suggest leaving it.

Mask of Equity
Cost: 20000
Review: A very good artifact wich basicly makes a level 1 hero with this artifact get the same stats as a level 20 hero it faces in battle. A good artifact to make battles more equal.

Moonblade
Cost: 7500
Review: If you concentrate on attack rather than defense I suggest using this artifact along with some initiative artifacts to make your creatures attack first.

Necklace of Victory
Cost: 10000
Review: A good artifact that workes for both spellcasters and melee fighters. And it is very good if you specialises in both.

Necklace of the Bloody Claw
Cost: 8000
Review: A good late-game artifact for very big armies. If you have many level 1 units it make them deal very much damage. But the effect of it is not just as good for level 7 units because you often don't have many of them.

Necklace of the Lion
Cost: 3000
Review: A good artifact combined wit other morale artifacts and the empathy ability.

Necromancer's Helm
Cost: 5000
Review: A good artifact for spellcasters. Not much more to say about this one.

Ogre Club
Cost: 8500
Review: An average artifact. Attack is very good but initiative is also very important.

Ogre Shield
Cost: 8500
Review: An average artifact. Defense is very good but initiative is also very important.
OK I will add more later. I would apreciate some Feedback.

Yeap, apart from this trick there's nothing to read. No analysis of specific slots, stats balance, recommended sets or combinations

Work, H5 games etc., so many things in real life...

Anyway, I have completed part 2 of my analysis.

@Carcity,

Your work is appreciated, but since you have copied my idea, I have no choice but to report to the HC courtroom

@Carcity,

In my opinion, I feel that your post can stay.  Since your review is short, it would be suitable for newcomers and those who are in a hurry and have no time to read long, long analyses.  Our reviews/analyses cater to different players with different requirements.

However, I am not the mod, so I do not have the final say, perhaps the mods can discuss about this and advise us.

I am most happy that you are willing to help out.  Please email me (my email is available in my profile page) on which aspects of the analysis you are best at and willing to write about, and we can discuss from there (imo there is no point in us discussing on this post and clogging the forum space).  Of course, if you prefer to use HC Messenger you are also welcome to do so.
