Hero Subtournament
I just wanna ask Ves his thoughts on the hero subtourney. It has been rather active, more than 100 games (a quick estimate says 120-130), and there are quite a few active players in the top list.
I do not know how this is usually done, is the one with most points the winner, or is it a playoff for the 4 or 8 best? At least the 5 first of us are rather active (not sure about Cycleguy).
Fiur would be a very worthy winner, and he has claimed by far most points. So i recommend that.
If there is semi finals and final like for ceasars i would of course be happy to participate in that aswell.

Indeed! I am also game. Fiur got me HOOKED on HERO games... and they are quite fun indeed... I think a HERO playoff would be great fun!

Well I am all in favor of the more the merrier! But looking down the list... I have to get like 15 down until able to find 6 active... so maybe top 4 active?

There are 5 guys that sort of stands out pointwise, 50 and up, and if Cycle is not active, then top 4 would be the best playoff in my opinion, since you have to go very far down the list to get 6 or 8 active players. Top 4 would be best anyway i guess. No matter outcome of the playoffs i think Fiur diserves a medal for winning the leauge though, and getting us other players hooked  Hero gaming is really cool, goes fast and max action.

I am a bit like Jinx, the more the merrier, but of course there is a limit to everything (50 points?). If we can make a 5 man group or something, wouldnt that be pretty fun? Would be a lot of games though, but hero games can be rather fast aswell. And with a group of 5, you can have two best meet in final, and then its not so many more games anyway (dont need semi finals with 2*5 games, and the group will have 10 games if everyone is to meet everyone.). Maybe Fiur should get a bonus point or two for winning the leauge.
Suggestion: Group games:
Player 1 vs Player 2
Player 1 vs Player 3
Player 1 vs Player 4
Player 1 vs Player 5
Player 2 vs Player 3
Player 2 vs Player 4
Player 2 vs Player 5
Player 3 vs Player 4
Player 3 vs Player 5
Player 4 vs Player 5
Top 2 meets in final (best of 3 or 5). Maps are chosen amongst the opponents, no rules needed i guess, we are all flexible guys

Ves, that is why i suggested top 5, as we have all confirmed "activeness"
No. 6 - Betruger - is not around, and no. 7 Shaped Sphere is not around either.

I already know 2 Hero maps: Hero le Fou, Dead Mans Lake, and Art of War. Soon rat race, seems to be teachers favorite

There is no such thing as a HERO map. lol... ALL maps can be hero maps hehe.

I have to agree with Karim...some maps are better suited for Hero tourney, like DML.
I would also like to suggest that for the tourney that the taverns be deleted, ive playes several games vs fiur like that and its fun not knowing what your opponent is till late in the game. I know there are build problems with necro and inferno but necro is still very competive w/o vamps anyway and if your unlucky to draw inferno for hero the ceribus are the least of your worries .

The top 5 players in question here are 200% trustworthy honorable players... I dont think deleteing taverns and limiting towns are needed...
And about maps... just a word of warning... anyone matched with me dont plan on playing DML or Dragons Cape lol...

well maybe I can say a word here to (since I've played a few "hero" games...) there is for sure some maps who are more suited for "hero" games than others...!
(Like my last map... Art of War is an perfect hero map...!)
if you play standard you'll be walking around for about 7-14 days doing "Nothing".... if you are an great player...
and for me no need to play without tavern but like Cycleguy says..
DML (without tavern) is damn fun... hard to build your hero when you don't know your enemie at all... (so then luck can be an big issue.. hmmm)
