This just goes to show that you're all curious gossips, and that's the only reason you wanna see why people got penalized.

Actually, neither of my penalties was in any quote war thread. In fact, both of them were long before I started posting in the Other Side.

I guess most of the offending posts would have been deleted after the culprit had taken note of which post was penalized.
Many posts with penalites still remain with the offensive parts edited away. Still I'm not a frequent visitor to these forums so for all know later mods may have removed them, or the way to handle the offensive posts may have changed.
Linking to penalties was also discussed five years ago, and the general answer then was that there was no point in finding penalties within the forums. Preferrably offending posts should be either edited so the contents no longer is offensive or be deleted altogether. Since the offensive part is taken away it is generally pointless to link to the post.
If you really really really want to search for penalties that still remain on the forums then I'd suggest to make google searches of HC. Much better to use external search engine capacity for this than to load down the forum capacity.

I'm not 100% sure about it, but today, I think that the mods don't delete/edit posts that have received penalties. I know that in the past it was like that, but perhaps the policy has changed? I just see that the most of the posts that get a penalty stay as they are.
Can one of the mods please approve/dismiss what I said?

I'm not a mod but if you have seen the Temple, and you look at posters like Lizardmen, you can see that some of what he said was taken out and replaced with the Moderators note. Usually when a member swears in their post, I would imagine that the Mods would edit out the swearing by censoring it. But I'm not a mod so I guess it doesn't matter what I say on the subject.

Nah you are right, most of the time inappropriate stuff is censored or edited. I remember Alc had edited one of lizardmen's as 'someone should put me in bed'  Good times.
